New Power

Gabriel looked at what the wheel had landed on with immense joy. Two words were displayed that inspired hope for his future.

Sleeper Symbiote.

He had always thought that the Symbiotes in Marvel were an interesting and strong power to have which meant he was excited to have gained one so early on. What made it even better was that the Sleeper Symbiote is unique even amongst the most interesting symbiotes.

The Sleeper Symbiote had a number of abilities that were very powerful.

When in Sleeper form the user has Superhuman Strength, Superhuman Durability, Superhuman Stamina, Regenerative Healing Factor, Genetic Memory, Wall-Crawling, Constituent-Matter Generation, Constituent-Matter Manipulation, Webbing Generation, Augmented Visual Sense, Camouflage Capabilities, Chemokinesis.

Camouflage Capabilities: The Sleeper symbiote can shift its physiological semblance into a host of different shapes and forms i.e., mimicking forms of clothing, camouflaging with its surroundings, emulating other people's visages, etc. What makes this particular Symbiote unique is its ability to manipulate ambient light in order to become invisible. This in conjunction with using its hormone abilities enables it to confuse the sensory systems of others, thereby making it the perfect stalker.

Chemokinesis: As a result of its unique biology, the Sleeper symbiote is capable of producing liquid and aerosol chemicals with a variety of effects - including inducing various emotional states, tranquilizing targets, psychological manipulation, and secreting corrosive chemicals for offensive purposes. This also affords it a form of telepathy, using pheromones to interject its thoughts into others' minds. This also grants it a superior cloaking ability to other symbiotes, generating pheromones to almost-completely mask its presence. It is also capable of using chemokinesis as a means of rocket propulsion, enabling it to traverse space, and produce acid.

Not only were these powers versatile, they were also incredibly strong. Unlike Limp Bizkit which was a very useful power if he did not want to get into battles himself, having the Sleeper Symbiote would increase his own ability in fights by an immense amount.

As there was nobody else around, Gabriel decided to test out his Sleeper Symbiote.

He activated it and immediately his body became covered in a black substance with lime yellow hands and claws and a pattern of the same colour on his chest and head. He was now eight feet tall and covered in huge muscles all over his body. He had four red eyes, two on each side with one above the other and incredibly sharp teeth. His Symbiote did not have a consciousness which was a positive for him as he would not have to put up with his power possibly disobeying him.

If he had to say so himself, Gabriel thought he looked pretty great in this form. Not attractive, that's for sure, but definitely cool.

As it was relatively dark outside, Gabriel decided he should go out and test his new power. He made his Symbiote into a more compact form and then used its camouflage abilities to make it seem like regular clothes.

He exited his apartment building and then entered an alleyway with nobody else inside. Gabriel transformed his Symbiote back into the full form and started to climb up the side of a building with ease. He stood on top of the building and looked out over the city he was in. He started to move from building to building and was amazed at how easy it was.

Next, he tested out his webbing generation and attempted to use it how Spider Man did in the films by swinging around with it. Luckily, he did not have to do the hand gesture that Spider Man does as he could eject endless amounts of black and lime green webbing just by thinking about it.

Gabriel used this to swing around in the shadows and was having an incredible time. That was until he heard a scream coming from an area that was not too far from him.

He made his way over there as quickly as possible to see what was happening and came across a scene of a young girl being harassed by a group of five men. Two of them had guns and three of them wielded large knives.

Gabriel jumped down from on top of a nearby building and created a crater when he landed which alerted the men to his position. Immediately, their attention was taken from the girl and diverted to him.

One of the men with guns shouted over to Gabriel, "Nice costume buddy, now if you don't want to die get out of here."

Gabriel was genuinely confused, "You just watched me jump from a building, cause a crater, and my 'costume' is clearly completely real. How are you this stupid?"

"Fuck did you say to me kid?"

"I think it was pretty obvious what I said if I'm being honest. You're stupid."

"Alright, that's it asshole."

As soon as he said this, the man with the gun aimed and shot right at Gabriel. However, as soon as the bullet connected with Gabriel it just bounced off and had no effect. This shocked the group as they had expected it to injure Gabriel as they still somehow believed that the Symbiote was a costume.

Gabriel walked over to the group and decided they would be good test subjects for his Chemokinesis. He released an incredibly toxic gas that caused the men to start bleeding out of all of their orifices at once. This caused them immense pain and they dropped to the ground.

Soon after, the toxins had completely entered their blood stream and finished them off with ease. The young woman who had been getting harassed stared at the scene and then ran off without saying anything. Gabriel did not know if she was thankful or terrified, but it did not really matter to him as he had tested out his new power.

Gabriel made his way back to his apartment and ate some food and watched some tv for a while until he saw something that piqued his interest. On the local news there was coverage of a recent story from a woman who claimed to have been rescued from a group of thugs by an alien like creature. While at first the media did not believe it, there was evidence of the men being killed by a toxin that had never been recorded before along with the crater left in the ground. This gave some credibility to the woman and the news decided to cover the story.

Gabriel was quite proud of his work and decided he had done enough and should probably get some sleep.
