"Die!!" 

Loud cries from various individuals can be heard outside as the havoc ensues. 

"My lady let's escape!" 

A man said leading the mother carrying her child into a secret passage. 

"Where did they go?! Find them! Don't let them get away!!" 

"Sire! It looks like they have a secret passage!!" 

A loud voice can be heard from the room where the mother was seconds ago. 

"Madam, please take the young master and run for your life, I will stay here to guard the passage" 

A man in his teens, most likely a loyal disciple said bowing down to the mother. 

"I won't let your sacrifice be in vain" 

"Yes, now go!" 

After the exchange, the mother ran as fast as she can towards the exit. 

However she suddenly stops midway... 

"They couldn't have gotten far! Lets go!" 

Hearing the voices on the opposite side of the pathway, the mother fell down in despair. 

(How did they know about this passage?)

(Is there a traitor in our clan?)

(A spy?)

Such thoughts entered the mother's mind.

"Ugyaa"

However she immediately stood up after hearing her dear son's innocent cry. 

She look at her son's face one last time and then the lady steeled her resolve. 

(That's right, now is not the time to give up, even if we can't survive, you must, my child.)

Thinking that, she put the infant down and she immediately put up an array. 

At the same time, the enemies came from both side of the passage. 

"They're here!" 

"What's that?!" 

"You idiot that's an array! Kill them before they can do anything!" 

The goon's rushed to the lady but it was too late. 

(I'm sorry my child.)

(I love you and goodbye.)

With that in her mind the array was completed and the child was sent somewhere in the countless realms. 

"Get her!"

In the end, the Lady was empaled and captured.

An elderly woman was silently sweeping near the gates of the pavilion when she suddenly hears loud cries coming from outside.

The woman said after peeking under the covers of the basket containing the infant. 

"What uncaring parents would leave their child like this outside so early in the morning?! This child could've die because of the cold!" 

Irresponsible!! 

The woman said as fumes come out of her nose because of anger.

"Anyways..."

She said as she picked the child up from the ground.

"Let's see here... So you're name is Yi Feng huh"

The old lady said after reading the characters that was embedded in the cloth beside the child.

The fate must favor this child, for me to see this child here is indeed the work of the heavens! 

"I must raise him from now on!" 

The old lady said as she brought the kid into the pavilion. 

14 Years Later...

"Yi Feng! Where the hell are you?! Skipping lessons again?!?!"
