"That is reasonable, so how much longer must I travel to reach civilisation or at least some fellow humans?"

[I anticipate that telling host, the distance between our current location and civilisation, will cause host to become depressed and demotivated about continuing to travel without rest and proper nutritious food. Therefore the system chooses the option of telling host that he will get there soon]

"Very well then, I will hunt a wild animal for nourishment then we will continue our journey."

[Although to motivate host, I shall generate a quest for host, but the quest system will go back to being sealed after completion]

[Quest - Survive journey to the village. Rewards: Beginner Item Pack, 100 Shop Points (will now be referred as "SP" from now on) and 100 EXP (Exp has to be manually used to either upgrade level or skills)]

"Oh although it sounds rather basic that seems to be a practical reward."

[Host, may I ask why you are currently sleeping in the river next to the dead rabbits that are being drained of blood]

"For some reason, I get horrible nightmares if I fall asleep without being surrounded by the scent of blood so until I find a better alternative, this is the only solution. Also, the rabbit's blood drains evenly and quicker when partially submerged in the water."

[System feels a need to point out that host can buy artificial nasal stimulants from the system to experience the metallic smell of blood without actually being near blood. Although the shop function is yet to be unlocked]

"Not at the moment as I do not know the methods to earn SP nor would I want to waste SP on a near pointless item."

"Is that the destination that I can currently see in the distance?"

[Indeed. It is called Konohagakure (aka Hidden Leaf Village) and it will be where your adventure starts, but before then your rewards have been given. Check your inventory for the beginner pack]

[Host has received Devouring bloodline {Mythical}, Observe {Uncommon} skill, 3 Healing pills {Uncommon}, and one Roulette wheel ticket (roulette wheel currently locked]

[Would host like to absorb the bloodline now?]

"It sounds cool and probably isn't anything bad so sure."

[System suggests for host to hide in the cave 30 meters to your left and prepare for excruciating pain]

"Could it possibly be any worse than my entire past life?" says Jake with a look of disdain
