"Let's not do it again."
I sat down on the sofa of the room that I was given, my parents came inside.
"You seemed like you had a lot of worries son."
My father said as he took a bottle of wine from the counter of the hotel suite we were in.
"The girl from the Kim family looked like a good girl."
My mother commented as she also took a glass from my father who had prepared it.
"They were just a little above average."
I told them, if there were any people that would have been characters I'd notice them right away since they were either good looking than 90% of the population or they belong to the top 1%.
But the people they brought in were in the just Top 10% in terms of wealth according to Steward Yunho but to me they weren't useful, if anything I wanted someone to support me in fights not just a pretty flower vase.
Resources? Based on the past few days of my life my family was a conglomerate, we have a hand in every resource in Korea, and the ones who we met today were trying to get in good graces with us so there would be no advantage of me trying to be friendly with them.
I'll let them handle the business as I have no talent for that.
Now that I think off it.
Companions are not a bad thing, I had to play times where I needed companions to buff me because my stats were weaker than average and a few times where I didn't since my stats were already too strong.
That doesn't mean the strong shouldn't continue to be stronger.
If we're talking about the strongest buffer in the game it would have been, Roanna from Germany, in Korea, Korea is weak when it comes to support character, they mainly specialize in DPS characters.
And the best Korean Support Character that I can interact with is ranked within the top 200 of all the people I've played but still good enough.
Its better than nothing.
I looked at the time, it was still quarter to 10, alright.
I stood up and loosened my tie, and made my hair messy, I looked at my parents and asked them.
"Do I look messy and tired enough?"
"You do."
My father smiled.
"Use protection."
My mother said.
"I think you two should use it."
I just smiled and left, as I went towards the entrance I saw Steward Yunho smoking.
"Young Master."
"Do you have a car I can use to drive?"
"A car? Do you even know how to drive?"
"Of course I know."
"Alright, if you get caught by the police just say your name and give this card, oh wait."
He then took out a stack of money from his pocket including his calling card, made a money sign and patted me in the back.
-
Steward Yunho gave me Valkyrie Anton Martini, I don't know much about cars but he says its the best.
Well it is fast, but I'll drive slowly.
I may not be a native of Korea originally but I've played the game so many times that I know a few landmarks on where to find someone.
I drove to where I know I could find one of the best buffers in the country.
As I arrived it was outside a convenience store, it was already past ten, there were still people outside walking but not a lot, they kept looking at the car as I parked it on the side.
When I got out they looked at me if I was a celebrity or a rare animal at the zoo.
I entered the convenience store, strange, she isn't at the counter where she should be and I even made myself look like a bit stressed she should be around here.
As I was looking I finally saw her, she was working and she was arranging the shelves.
I only played her once, I only know a little about her backstory, I've had her as my support for only a couple of playthroughs and it was ok.
"Excuse me."
"Yes?"
She looked at me, If I had to say in terms of beauty she would certainly be Top 15 within the country, Top 50 in the whole world, in my own opinion.
"Where are the Banana Milk?"
"Oh I haven't stocked it yet, is it okay for you if its not cold? I could grab one."
"Yeah I think I'll buy two."
She nodded and carefully placed the remaining items and went to the back, she didn't even look at me, is my face not that attractive enough? According to the game's standards it should be.
I stayed at the counter and waited for her. When she arrived she finally took a look at me, the blush on her face couldn't escape my eyes.
"That'll be 3,400 Won."
"Ah here."
I gave her 50,000 Won.
"Thanks."
I grabbed the bag she placed it in, and as I was slowly walking outside, I didn't notice that I had already arrived at my car.
Shouldn't she come out now and say something along the lines of 'Wait!' or something?
Did my plan fail?
As I started the car she wasn't even here, I looked at the store at where she was but she was there still working.
"Should I try another day?"
I drove back to the hotel awkwardly as I drank the Milk I bought, somehow it tastes weirder than usual.
-
With only a few days left I stopped training and kept coming back to buy Banana Milk, I only came to be her friend so I could get access to buffs later on.
"That'll be 3,400 won."
I handed her the same bill as usual, this time she doesn't even ask if I would want change and just pockets it.
As I was leaving, she finally talked to me.
"Ah excuse me sir."
"Yes?"
"May I know your name?"
"It's Baek Hyunjin."
She nodded and then proceeded to take a note, in there she slowly placed it in front me, I smiled and nodded.
When I returned to the car somehow I felt annoyed and wanted to laugh at the same time, this girl is playing hard to get no? Or I just don't have skills when it comes to picking up girls?
'Dear Customer Hyunjin, if you like the Banana Milk so much contact this number and tell my name its Kang Sora! Tell them you got their number from me thanks!'
She just wants money, I guess considering her family situation its to be expected since she's the sole bread winner and will want to attend the academy.
'Did I misread the 'Convenience Store Girl' trope wrong?
Might as well buy a full warehouse of it as compensation for wasting her time as well, anyway I've wasted enough days, tomorrow is the day when the academy starts.
