But just a few years after his retirement, his planet was invaded by a strong force that seek to conquer their home. But vee decides not to act this time and rather watch from the sideline while secretly helping someone else to become the main character in the darkest moment of their planet.

Didn't you read it?

As for first place…first place would receive one magic stone and a heavenly grade magic Vail that was even better than a spirit grade magic Vail!

By the time they were done reading the manual, Alex's heart was already blazing with determination to get into the ranking no matter what. It was already late by the time they were done reading so both kids decided to head to the cafeteria by following the map, Alex refused to pay for any transport and they had to walk all the way while at the same time sightseeing the place.

Alex's first night in the academy passed just like that. They woke up early the next morning and got ready before heading to the cafeteria for breakfast. The cafeteria of the academy had two sections for students to eat, the first one served free food while the other had high class dishes but the students would have to pay.

Just like yesterday, Alex and Vee ate their breakfast at the first section before heading out.

They had nothing to do today since class would only still tomorrow so they decided to keep touring the academy to get familiar with it.

They tried moving a few times without their maps but ended up getting lost, good thing that they did not leave the map at their lodge.

It was already noon and the sun was shining high in the sky, Alex and Vee could be seen panting heavily with sweat soaked bodies as they sluggishly moved towards Area 7. These two had been walking for hours around the academy but had not even managed to cover half of the place before turning back.

"Dude…we really should…have taken a hover car" Vee struggled to speak, he looked so tired that he could fall at any moment.

Alex only stared at him, he was unable to reply because he felt that he might collapse if he did.

They finally made it to their lodge and the cool air inside the bungalow Instantly drove away the heat that was cooking them up.

Vee allowed Alex to use the shower first while he went to his room to take off his clothes and get a new set.

A few minutes later and both of them could be found sprawling on the floor in the living room, both in simple shorts and handles tops.

'I'm so hungry, why is the cafeteria so far from the lodge Area?' Alex grumbled in his thoughts while staring at the ceiling of the living room.

"Hey, you hungry yet?" Vee suddenly asked without turning to look at Alex.

"Yeah but I'm too tired to go back" Alex replied. He wasn't even willing to go eat in the cafeteria if he was going to ride a hover car.

"Oh, should I go alone then? I'll get lunch and dinner for both of us" Vee suggested and what he received in response was a Alex's weird gaze.

"What?" He asked.

"What do you mean get lunch and dinner for both of us? Can you do that?" Alex inquired.

"What? You didn't read it?" It's on the manual, check it properly. Maybe you missed it" Vee replied in a defensive tone.

Alex stared at him for a few seconds before taking out his manual and flipping to the page Vee had said, his eyes widened as he stared at the row of words.

Indeed, it really was written there. A student could get food from the cafeteria as long as they paid a few silver coins.

" Then why didn't you say so earlier!" Alex said to Vee, raising his voice.

"Thought you saw it already" Vee shrugged in response.

Alex could only click his tongue in frustration. He had no one to blame for it since he was at fault for not reading carefully.

They talked for a while and later agreed on a decision, Alex would go provide the money for the hover car and the meal, and Vee would go and buy it.

"Be back soon" Vee said before closing the door, leaving only Alex in the lodge.

"Ah, I'll just go and sleep till he comes back" Alex said to himself and went to his room.

.....

"Is this report accurate?"

A deep voice sounded inside the room with only two people.

One had a tall bulky figure with a fierce look on his face, the other was just a kid in his teens.

If Alex was here, he was have recognized this person as one of the kids who came looking for Torie after the awakening was done.

"Yes, sir yellow priest. A kid in my batch awakened two elements, a rare element and a cosmos element" the kid replied.

"This is very good Intel, you will get rewarded for your devotion to the ministry. For now, try to get close to him as much as possible. We'll need him in future, either he becomes one of us…or he becomes of use to us" the deep voice ordered, in tone sinister and dreadful.

" But sir, he…" the kid tried to raise a complaint but was harshly cut off by the other party.

"Silence! How dare you, a mere worshiper, question me?! Do as I say or you will become one of those things you own. I don't care if he pissed you off or not, make sure you are able to invite him when the time is right" the deep voice snared in response, causing the kid to shrink his neck.

"Yes, sir yellow priest" the kid responded fearfully, not daring to raise another complaint.

"As for that other kid, you can make him disappear if you wish" The owner of the deep voice said before disappearing.

The kid finally raised his head after the other party had disappeared, a look of ruthlessness could be found in his eye as he left the room as well.

...

Back in Royal Magic Academy, Vee could be seen walking along the road while looking at his map.

He had already gotten the food he went out for and they were currently being kept inside his storage device; he had left most of his things inside his room so there would be space for their meals.

"Hey, you there!"
