Chapter 119

I snapped my lips shut instead. I was not expecting St John, nude from the waist up, to be seated on my brother’s lap and nuzzling his mouth. His left palm was against Robin’s cheek, and I was astounded to see a ring on his index finger that I vaguely recognized as one Papa had given Robin years ago. I was even more astounded to see the leather band Robin wore around his neck.

Robin opened his eyes languidly and met my gaze. Do you mind waiting in the hall, big brother?

Sorry. I backed out of the room, closed the door quietly, and stood in the hallway, lost in thought for a moment. I ran my fingers over my own throat, wondering how I would react if Da’ric should ask me to wear something like that.

Only if you wanted it, Drew

The door to the breakfast room opened, and I felt Da’ withdraw from my mind as Robin slipped out into the hall, buttoning his shirt collar. My brother came to me and wrapped his arms around me. “Andrew. You’re home. You’re home.”

“I am.”
