Chapter 23 - Go back

'Go back? Did I hear it right? He wants us to go back to how we used to be?' Kasey asks herself as she felt her ear twitched for a second.

"What do you mean?" She asks him as she kept her composure.

Ryouma bit his lower lip and scratches the back of his nape. "What I mean is…" he paused for a second as she sits up straight and stares at her, intently. "I love you, Kasey, I still do," he confessed as he reaches for her hand which is resting on the table

Kasey immediately pulls her hand away.

'He still loves me? Him? No way! That's impossible!' Kasey's monologue at the back of her mind as her eyes widen with his sudden confession.

"I love you, Kasey, I still do," Ryouma repeated. "I still love you."

"Ryouma," she called his name, more likely warning him to stop.

"I know that what I did to you before was unforgivable, but Kasey, I want us back,"

"For the past few months that you were away I began to realized your true worth to me, I realized that I love you,"
