Bus stop

"He smiled. He smiled right at me, before turning his back to me and disappearing into the rain." I said resting my head on my fist while I looked up at my therapist. He'd asked me about my dream from the night before. "Well?" Mr. Davis asked, raising an eyebrow. "Well what?" I lifted my head. "What happened next?" He sounded like a 4th grade bookworm that was left on a cliffhanger at the end of a book. "Nothing happened next. I woke up. That's it." I shrugged slightly. Mr. Davis sighs and looks at the clock that lingered on the wall. "Well Mason, it appears we're out of time for today." I stood up from the green, one person seat that I'd sat on across from Mr. Davis. Swinging my bag over my shoulder, I waved to Mr. Davis as I parted the room. I stepped out of the building into the pouring rain. I pulled my hood as I stood by a bus stop sign. There was no shelter in this particular part of town so I usually end up stuck in the rain. I sighed and turned my head to the left when I heard someone humming a tune. Out from the rain came a boy who was skipping joyfully. He wore overalls and carried a rainbow umbrella. He had short, blonde curls, resting on his head. Though the thing that stuck out to me most, was his bright, yellow, rain boots.  He come to a stop next me and gave me a friendly smile before turning to face the road. His gentle hums were accompanied by the thuds of the rain forcefully hitting the top of his umbrella. he stood a good two head heights shorter than me, but I suppose i'm a bit tall myself.   I looked down and over, so I was looking at the boy. He must've felt me looking at him or something because he looked up at me. "oh! Hello sir! Can I help you?" The boy asked smiling cutely. I personally was a bit shy. "U-uhm.. no-" I looked back up just in time to see the bus pull up. I gripped the straps of my backpack and hurried inside. I could see the boy frown as I hurried away. I guess that was a bit rude off me, but I was too shy to stick around and talk to him.  I watched him board the bus. He smiled at everyone he saw. Even grumpy Mr. McGregory. I swore that after he smiled at him, Mr. McGregory cracked a grin for a short moment. But no matter how nice this boy was, all the seats were full and nobody was standing up to give him a seat. I watched as how the boy kept stumbling as he seemed to be quite light weight. I felt  bad watching him stand and stumble on the ride. I didn't want to get up from my seat though. "h-hey-!" I called over to him at the next stop. The boy waddled over. "yes?" The boy tilted his head. I scooted over and patted the seat next to me. The boy looked at me and smiled softly before sitting next to me. The seat was small and definitely only made for one person, but oh well. The boy was right up against me. He felt so warm. my cheeks turned a soft pink but I only pushed the blush away..
