|The next day|

When Sosuke opens his door he jumps back in surprise being met with a full dose of Lizzie standing in it.

"Oh. Hey, just the supernatural I was looking for." Lizzie says cutely, poking his chest and steps into his room, only for Sosuke to quickly slip out of it and heading down the hallway with quick steps.

"Hold on Mister, what was that just now?" Lizzie asks bossily.

"Me ditching you. You have a weird vibe right now I don't want to get sucked into." He tells her with all honesty and leaps over the railing at the top of the stairs, rolling over his shoulder as he lands in the Foyer and makes his way to the door.

"Wow. To think Sosuke would ever flee from someone. Well no surprise it's you. What'd you do?" Hope asks amused, looking up to Lizzie from her spot in the Foyer where she was talking to MG previously.

"Nothing. I didn't get the chance to even talk to him." Lizzie says upset with a frown on her face and angry eyes.

"Wow."Hope chuckles amused.

"Oh shut up." Lizzie replies annoyed.

"What did you want from him?" Hope asks curiously, since the blonde never paid Sosuke any attention before.

"I am going to make him my date tonight. I can feel that we're gonna be a power couple now that he is super and not only natural." Lizzie tells her, heading down to the foyer.

"Wow. That's wrong on so many levels I don't even know how to respond." Hope says stunned.

"Haha, just keep your hands off my target alright you minx? Go play with the broody one." Lizzie tells Hope before strutting off somewhere high and mightily to decorate the mill for the party.

"Sosuke. You ran right past me." MG greets the teen, finding him sitting on the porch of the school.

"Sorry Lizzie seemed weird I don't know. I tend to avoid her when she's like that." Sosuke says.

"Lizzie huh?" MG asks.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to poke the bear." Sosuke apologizes to MG at the mention of the blonde.

"It's cool. It's not your fault she's ghosting me." MG tells him.

"Anyways. Here, I brought some variations, but why do you want these? You never seemed interested in comic books before." MG says, dropping four comics in his lap.

"Thanks. And it's research I guess." He says, looking at the comics.

"Research? For what? Is the next monster already here?" MG whines.

"Nah. At least I don't think so. I want to get a handle on my powers and well since I don't know what I am. I was hoping one of these will inspire me." Sosuke tells MG, whose eyes light up.

"Are we talking full on superhero training? I got your back man." MG tells him, taking the comics and gets up, nodding for Sosuke to follow him, the two moving to a part of the woods no one ever goes to.

"First things first. The easy ones. Super speed, Super strength, Super senses. What do you got?" MG asks him.

"Uhm strength. And the rest I don't think so." Sosuke replies.

"Alright, let's see that strength." MG tells him and Sosuke nods, punching a hole in one of the dead trees next to them.

"Sweet jesus." MG says giddily.

"Nice, what's your speed like?" MG asks, speeding behind Sosuke and taps him.

"Uh I don't know. I'm just gonna run and see how fast it goes." Sosuke says and starts running, MG easily keeping up and speeding ahead of him.

"Alright, I think that's good." the comic enthusiast tells Sosuke after they ran 200 meters or so.

"Slightly above average I'd say. Usain Bolt speed." MG says.

"Yeah, seems about right." Sosuke agrees nodding.

"Alright. Now we're starting to get to the tricky ones. Senses." MG says and blindfolds him.

"Where am I?" He whispers after speeding away a few dozen meters.

"Concentrate on your hearing." MG tells him before repeating to whisper in other spots, Sosuke only hearing him at a normal hearing distance.

"I'm guessing I failed that one?" Sosuke asks, being able to touch MG' shoulder.

"big time. Maybe you should see an ear doctor." MG jokes, poking him with a chuckle.

"Alright now I don't know how we're gonna test touch or taste, so I'm gonna leave that up to you and smell ... Maybe ask a wolf for help sometime? Like Hope?" MG suggests.

"Alright. So, sight is left?" Sosuke says and takes off the blindfold.

"Hah, perfect." MG says and sits down, motioning for Sosuke to sit across from him.

He then proceeds to play the shell game with some walnut shells he found and a pebble, Sosuke not being able to follow his movements after a certain level.

"I think sight is normal too man. Though you... no wait if you had night vision or heat vision you would have done that by now. X-ray. The cold classic. How many fingers am I holding up? " MG says, holding up three fingers behind his back.

"Three. Two, One, Zero, Five." Sosuke says, while MG is changing his number like Sosuke said and looks at him stunned.

"Sweet man." MG says excitedly, only for Sosuke to nod behind the teen where Kaleb was messing with him, showing Sosuke the answer every time.

"Aww." MG whines disappointed.

"What are you guys doing all the way out here?" Kaleb asks, still worried about MG after the feeding incident and hoping to continue to keep an eye on him.

"I wanted to borrow some comics for inspiration. I got a coach instead." Sosuke says, patting MG's back.

"Y'all need some help?" Kaleb offers.

"Sure thing. We're getting to the good stuff." MG says wiggling his eyebrows in excitement.

"Tell us, what do you know about your powers Sosuke?" MG says, moving over to Kaleb, putting his arm around his fellow vamp while looking at Sosuke.

"I can shoot lightning and I can affect the school's lights." Sosuke says with a shrug.

"Gotta be more than that come on boy." MG tells him.

"Uhm I managed to shoot it once on purpose, like... this." Sosuke says, repeating the motion he blew up Alaric's door with.

"And other than that it happens when I'm Angry. When I'm angry I like surround myself with lightning and when I get ... ahem well get aroused I shoot off an actual lightning strike." Sosuke says making Kaleb break down laughing, MG controlling himself a bit more, but also chuckles audibly.

"you're telling me when you get in the mood you blow up unexpectedly?" Kaleb asks laughing his ass off.

"Yes." Sosuke says getting pissed and a web of lightning covers him and the ground 2 meters around him, burning the floor and parts of his clothes to crisps.

"Ah I see. You wanted me to get angry. Quick thinking." Sosuke tells the two vampires now looking concerned for their own health.

"Any word of the other cause of lightning and..." Sosuke tells them threateningly, punching a tree and making it fall over on top of him where it simply breaks in half over his shoulder.

"Got it?" Sosuke asks sickenly sweet while walking over to the vamps and puts his arms around them, leaving the area.

"Yes sir." Kaleb says nervously while MG nods furiously.

"Enhanced endurance." MG mumbles quietly as well after seeing the tree come down on him and him looking fine.

"So, no other pattern of how it happens yet?" MG then asks as the three walk back toward the school building a bit but stay outside of it.

"No. Not as far as I can see. When I held up my hand it was like I was connecting to the electricity in the house, but that's it." Sosuke says, holding his palm out like he did the other day and a small wisp of electricity sprouts from his finger, moving towards an outdoor outlet of the building and Kaleb touches it, getting zapped lightly before it even reaches the outlet.

When it connects to the outlet nothing visible happens either though.

"Feel anything?" MG asks curious and looks at the crackling thin line of constantly moving energy with wonder.

"Nah. I can like feel how the electricity flows in the house but it's not like I feel like it's draining me rather I imagine it charging me." Sosuke says and stops it.

"Alright. Maybe you only have limited amount of power, depending on how much you siphon from elsewhere, like the Gemini Coven." MG suggests.

"No. That can't be because of the embarrassing version. Trust me." Sosuke says, thinking back to his three continuous outbursts of energy at the pier yesterday.

"Well you said you can feel it charging you. Where did the charge go?" MG asks.

"My... Hold on." Sosuke says and takes off his shirt, his reopened scars already looking better. Sosuke then connects to the Outlet again and tries to imagine pulling the energy in and the two vamps applaud at seeing his wounds heal with yellow and blue lightning dancing over them.

"Now that's what I call super healing." MG says ecstatically and high fives Sosuke, Kaleb following up as well, happy for Sosuke.

"So I know what that does then." Sosuke says holding out his palm upwards, little lines of lightning dancing off his fingertips like tendrils.

"See I told you I got this." MG says cockily.

"Yeah, thanks man." Sosuke says, grabbing MG's hand brotherly and accidentally connects to him with the tendrils, making MG freeze up and look at the hand while Sosuke shakes his hand, stopping the electricity.

"That felt weird." MG says laughing.

"So you can drain people too?" Kaleb asks impressed.

"I don't know and I think I better not go down that road." Sosuke answers.

"Yeah. Probably a good idea." Kaleb agrees, looking over to MG and recalls the young vampire's thirst for blood the other night.

"So the main mystery remains how you can use your powers offensively without well, needing inspiration." Kaleb says chuckling.

"Yeah but this definitely helped,thanks guys." Sosuke tells them and the three continue to head back to school.

"Well, when you figure the other stuff out I'm gonna be waiting on a show and tell." Kaleb says, the two vamps splitting off from Sosuke and heading to class.

"I can heal." Sosuke murmurs to himself proudly.

"Sosuke! Don't you dare run away again. I need a date for the party and you have the honor of taking me." Lizzie tells Sosuke, seeing him just outside the school and hurries outside.

"I may have the honor, but I don't have the pleasure... In other words, no thanks." Sosuke tells Lizzy and pushes past her towards the school building, his class also starting soon.

"So what? You're gonna stay a lonely pathetic loser pining over little perfect Hope all your life?!" Lizzie yells angrily.

"I'm fine with that." Sosuke replies ignoring her.

Lizzie then uses a spell to pull him back and he lands on the grass next to her.

"What's that for?" Sosuke asks annoyed, getting back up.

"Shut up! I can't stand you. It's always Hope with you. I want to matter too!" Lizzie yells having a breakdown.

"Hey, calm down alright. You matter to some people. MG for example and your dad would do anything for you." Sosuke tells her, putting a hand on her shoulder to stop her from crying.

"Then why not you too? Hope doesn't see you that way anyways, why can't I have you then." She asks while whining.

"Just because Hope probably won't return my feelings, they are still my feelings. So I don't know what to tell you. I don't know why I fell for her in the first place. I know all her flaws, her issues and her baggage. But I can't help it. I'm just in love with her alright and you dragging me to some dance or something won't change it anyways. That's why I'm telling you... I'm not your guy." Sosuke tells Lizzie sternly with the blonde still frowning upset but she lets him leave this time as he heads into the school.

Later that day the students are heading out to the mill for the party Lizzie threw together.

Sosuke goes along, bringing a book about mythical creatures with him though, still hoping that finding out what he is will explain his powers as well.

So that evening while most students are getting drunk and or dancing Sosuke is sitting on the railing of the second floor looking through his book.

Hearing a loud whoo from the upper part of the mill, Hope looks up and sees one of the female werewolves running around topless, right past Sosuke who doesn't seem to react at all.

Raising an eyebrow she heads up to him, sitting down next to him on the railing and her hand touches his accidentally.

"Looks like you've dealt with that issue of yours quickly she says impressed, only for Sosuke to mumble a quick "No." before jumping off the ledge and through a side door of the mill, a loud boom sounding over the party music.

"My bad." Sosuke excuses himself loudly, stepping back into the mill to face the curious eyes of his peer who shrug it off and continue to party.

Sosuke climbs back up the stairs to the railing and collects the book he dropped.

Hope doesn't say anything but has a smile on her face when he sits down next to her again, sliding away from her a good distance.

Sosuke continues to read his book in peace, noticing Lizzie look up at him with a mixture of emotions written on her face but chooses not to address it.

"There you are." Landon greets Hope suddenly, pulling Sosuke out of his thoughts and he peers over seeing the two kiss again.

Sosuke wordlessly drops off the railing and starts heading back to his room, only Hope noticing him gone with a guilty conscience at enjoying making out with Landon, who pulls her off the railing and into a hug.
