Prolouge 1

Gods are supreme beings. They have existed before the world existed. over the course of time since civilization has advance wars were waged. The Gods made thier champions and some would become their own champions. When a God or a group of Gods win a war they gain power and at the end of the year they battle to see who will be the strongest. One day the strongest Gods gathered and made a decision for peace if humanity and any race fight ,then they will not intervene. The Gods agreed and henceforth had nothing to do with the mortal realm unless a tragedy occured to them ;however the Gods were wrong. The first tragedy didn't occur in the the mortal realm but in the God's realm itself. The beings who came called themselves The Revelation. They claimed that they will reveal a new era ,and along with that claim the Gods fell one by one...

Meanwhile in a fort at Yggdrasil-

"What do you mean ,Hel, why would we run away ;you know how important The World Tree is." A young man said as he walked out of a tent with a young lady who was call Hel."I know ,Fen, I really do ,but it's useless both you and I know that. I just feel that we should run away ; they already took Jörmu and Sleip it won't be long until they take us." as Hel said that Fen sighed before he continued," I know Hel ,but we need to protect the Tree we can't have them it."

"Yeah, but even if they did get the tree for a unknown reason all the will do is make the world an even shittier place than it already is. It doesn't make a difference."

"But how about those innocent lives that will suffer more than before ; I cant stand thinking about it."

"Then don't think about t ,Fen, and you know no life is innocent ,and you know this more than I."

"but-"

"Fen...*sigh* I know you care about others ,but in doing so you are harming the ones around you. Do you want that?"

"No....." Fen said in a low voice but enough for Hel to hear.

"*sigh* Come on we have a Tree to defend."

"Alright."Fen said and smiled.

*bonggg* *bonggg* *bonggg* the alarm sounded as everyone got their weapons ready to fight the enemies

"READY YOUR POSITIONS ARCHERS MAN THE WALLS, WARRIORS TO ME!!!"A tall buff man yelled as he walked to Fen.

"Hello there Fenrir."

"Greetings, Master Ares." Fenrir replied

A/n: I'll be calling the mc Fenrir from now on.

"No need to be so formal those that I acknowledge can just call me by my name."

"Alright ,Ares."

"Well this might be our last stand ,so why not make it a blast and kill as many as we can." Hel said as she joined the conversation.

"Heh, indeed." Ares said

"*sigh* Really I can't put up with you two ; why are you guys so battle hungry." Fenrir complained.

"It's the thrill of the battle that does it."

"For me it's the feeling of death ; you know being the Goddess of Death and all."

"Fair point. Now enough talking lets get straight into battle shall we."

As Fenrir said that they all turned their heads to the battlefield which soon will be flowing with rivers of blood and mountains of corpses.

Ares made his way in front of the men to give a speech "MEN THIS MAY BE OUR LAST STAND ,BUT IF WE SUCCEED WE WILL RETURN THE REALM OF THE GODS BACK TO ITS FORMER GLORY AND BEYOND. THOUGH WE MAY HAVE LOST OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WE STILL HAVENT'T LOST OUR HONOR. SO WILL YOU JOIN ME IN WHAT MAY BE OUR FINAL BATTLE TO PROTECT THE WORLD TREE."

"AYE!!" the soldiers replied

"THEN LET US GO AND FACE OUR ENEMIES!! CHARGE!!!!" as Ares said that the soldiers shouts ringed through out the battlefield "FOR HONOR!!! FOR GLORY!!!!" The men marched into what may be their last battle.

"[Silent Death]" Hel appeared in the enemy backlines and released a ray of death towards her enemies with her black scythe .and in the frontlines Ares is showcasing his techniques "[WAR TECHNIQUES: DRAGON'S WRATH]" as he said that his aura surged with power as he unleashed flame based attacks. The only one who isn't attacking is Fenrir who is stand in front of the fortress. He seems to be waiting for something ,and as the battle continued a giant lionkin soon showed himself. When the lionkin showed himself Fenrir made his move and dissapearred from his spot and reapperead 20 ft away from the lion.

"So you have finally shown yourself, Brutus."

"Fenrir." Brutus greeted with a hint of arrogance.

The stature of both had a huge gap with brutus standing at 7.8ft whilst wear a left shoulder pad and carrying a giant battle axe and his body riddled with scars and his golden mane being moved by the wind. meanwhile Fenrir is around 6.1 ft with a messy black hair accompanied with a pair of black wolf ears and a black wolf tail. He is wearing black boots with a black and blue hooded light armor ,and he doesn't appear to be holding a weapon on hand.

"Arrogant as always. Tell me why did you betray the Gods."

"Hmmph. Would you like to know."

"Yes. Yes, I do want to know."

"Tch. Well I can do that since you will die today. I betrayed them ,because they have been on the seat of power for far too to long. A new era has come and thier reign is over."

"Huh. What a pathetic excused. You just wanted to live. I won't lie I do too ,but i wouldn't have gone without a fight unlike you who willingly went with them ,and don't think I dont know you have been aiming for a God position. Enough talk my head hurts when I talk with you. [Manifest: Runic blade of Flames]"

A/N: sorry for not posting a chapter sooner had to fix my laptop cuz I kept on getting bluescreens and it also froze alot so yeah hope yeah enjoy this chapter I might post every 2 days or so. see ya later and I have already made a request to my friend to draw the cover photo hope you guys will like it.
