Amari is surprised at the size of the of her, she is way bigger than he had expected. Safiya is still in shock can't seem to bring herself to move, she was certain that her death near.

''Speak humans, why do you dare come by here?''

''We were just passing by; we didn't mean to cause you any trouble.''

''What casual tone to use in the presence of a demi-god, you treacherous human.''

''...''

Amari and Sylvia look at one another, and to Sylvia's surprise Amari doesn't seem to be panicking nor is he scared. She looks over to Safiya and sees the fear she's expecting, compared to Safiya, Amari didn't seem to be nervous was standing while looking right into the eyes of Sylvia's eyes. This made her furious inside as she was used to causing fear to men that were fare warriors and nations, but she couldn't fear a skinny little child. With frustration she slowly opened her mouth in attempts to eat the two.

Amari prepares and gets in a stance that is ready to fight. Safiya screams her lungs out terrified of how big her opened mouth is. Sylvia quickly stops right before she reaches the two, and she retracts as precaution, she suddenly become defensive. Sylvia looks like she recognized Amari.

''W-W-What are you doing here?''

''What?'' 

''I told you to never come back here again!!''

''This is my first time seeing you, lady.''

''Don't play dumb with me, I know your scent...''

Amari is genuinely confused of what is going.

''Just get out of my lake, I don't want to see you here ever again!!"

With her tail she slaps their raft across the lake, causing them to spin uncontrollably in the air and the raft breaking. Amari grabs Safiya before they crash into the ground and protects her by hugging her. They fall and roll for six times until the hit one the trees. Safiya gets up and dusts herself off. She looks at the lake and sees Sylvia swimming away.

''Thank you for protecting me there, I was sure I was going to die.''

Sylvia rubs the smalls bruises that are on her knees, thighs, elbow and forearm and they are all burning her as they get mixed with the soil. Amari takes deep breaths trying to cope the pain he endured. His leg between his knee and foot is broken along with his left forearm too.

Safiya turns around and sees this horror and quickly covers her eyes in shock. She couldn't get herself to look at him.

''You need to help me.''

''You can't!!''

''You can.''

''NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! I can't do it! I JUST CA- "

''SAFIYA!!!''

''You can do it.''

Safiya was surprised at Amari's belief in her and she wasn't used to it. He always gave her a look of pity and resentment. 

But this time he looked at her with hope and trust.

She quickly reacts and takes him on his back, and they go deeper into the woods. After straightening the broken bones, she went to the woods to find food and plants that can help with the healing. She returns with plants and fruits and sets the out in front of a fire.

''I didn't find any meat-''

''You didn't find any or you couldn't catch any.''

''Okay, you caught me, I couldn't catch any. But luckily for us I found us some of the best fruits in the world, it's known as the Marula peach, and it's only found when you are near my village. To include to that I found these plants too that are known for healing known as the Kava healers, and they also found near my village.''

Safiya sings a song while she attends Amari's wounds and after she keeps on singing while preparing food for him. Amari suddenly starts laughing. Which surprises her as he has never seen Amari laugh before.

''What?''

''What are singing?'' Amari laughs

''Oh... it's a song we sing back in my village when we are celebrating something or someone. In this case, I'm celebrating the fact that we survived through all these trials, and I get to see my family tomorrow.''

''Family...''

Safiya looks at Amari as his face transitions from happy to sad.

''You don't have a family?''

Amari nods.

Safiya started to understand Amari better after finding that out. Amari had to survive on his own his whole life, trusting no one but himself and his strength.

''I'm sorry to hear that.'' 

''It's time for us to we have a big day tomorrow.''

''Aren't you going to eat?''

''I'm not hungry.''

The following morning the two wake up and prepare to leave. Amari didn't seem to be in the mood to talk, he was still bothered by what they talked about last night before they slept. 

''You seem bothered, is everything okay?''

''Everything's fine, let's just get going.''

They leave short after. As they walk through the forest, Amari suddenly stops and Safiya does the same. He starts scanning through the woods for something, but Safiya is confused.

''Something is coming.'' 

The footsteps of the thing get louder and are getting closer and louder. They see a humongous white tiger running full speed there way.

''Run....RUN!!!" shouts Amari.

Safiya starts running but Amari remains to face the lion head on. With no weapon nor the strength to face a tiger that is five times bigger than him, he still decides to run towards it and to fight it. The tiger and Amari jump at the same time, but Amari ends up beneath the tiger during the jump. He attempts to punch its jaw, but with quick reflexes it catches his arm biting his biceps.

It clutches on to his arm and starts swinging him around hitting him on the ground repeatedly. After that he throws him across the forest causing him to fall and roll multiple times.

Safiya comes back with a long thick wooden staff, she throws it to Amari, and it rolls next to him. The tiger notices Safiya and starts running towards her in full speed. With just one hand Amari picks the staff up and runs after the tiger before it reaches Safiya. She starts running away from the tiger but it's catching up to her. While looking back to where the tiger was Safiya trips of a small rock and falls on her stomach. The tiger got in reach and jumps while opening its mouth in attempt to eat her, Safiya was sure that her life was over.

Safiya was in the tiger's mouth and all it had to do was close its mouth, but Amari jumps in with the staff and throws it into the tiger's eye. The tiger is caught by surprise and shakes its head trying to remove the staff. While it was distracted by the stick in its eye, Amari starts running to it, picks up a big rock and jumps on the tiger's neck. While on its neck her starts to repeatedly hits the head. The tiger starts to lose its balance and becomes dizzy, Amari doesn't stop pounding the head. 

It finally loses its balance and falls over after being hit over and over. Even though the tiger was down Amari kept on banging its head. After realizing that it was dead he went and took the staff in the tiger's eye and stabs it by the neck for caution.

Amari's arm was bleeding rapidly and had see-through holes as a result from the tiger's bite from earlier. He drops to his knees and breathes heavily as he is tired. Safiya runs to his aid, but he dismisses it and stands up quickly.

''We need to keep moving, we're almost there.'' Amari utters.

It's noon and the sun are at its hottest, luckily for the two they are surrounded by tall trees that covers them from the sun. As they are walking Safiya realizes that Amari is becoming slower and losing more of his blood, it bothers her, but she doesn't talk about it. After hours of walking with no rest, Safiya starts to recognize the place more.

''Hey, I know this place...I think we're close to my village.'' 

''Really? that's good.''

Amari sounded weak when he spoke to her and was on the verge of fainting. But he couldn't walk any longer and his legs finally collapse. Safiya catches him before he falls. She carries him on her back, as she walks through the woods.

Safiya saw her village from a distance and started shouting to grab the people's attention, she could barely walk because of Amari resting on her back.

Someone from the village notices someone from afar but they can't make out who it is. As the Safiya gets closer, he starts to see her clearer as she is waving.

''Safiya?... SAFIYA!! SAFIYA!! EVERYONE!! It's Princess Safiya!!'' 

The man quickly runs towards Safiya with his arms open, and the rest of the people came out to see what shouting was about. One other woman and man started running towards them. When she sees him coming, Safiya smiles and finally collapses on her knees and falls on her face. The man arrives there and puts Amari over his soldier and holds Safiya in his arms. 

''You can rest now princess.''

The man and woman approach the man who's carrying the two of them, and the woman starts to dramatically cry.

''My child... my child is finally home!'' the woman cries.

The man smiles while tears go down his cheek.
