Radiance: The Light of Hope

In some alternate part of the multiverse exists a world similar to our own, with animals and plants, people and cities, life and death. Yet it is as if it is a shadow of our own, suffering an ailment, some unknown affliction and is slowly slipping into the void under a fading sun. Here lives a young man named Sam, who has resigned himself to this fate, yet sometimes just for a moment, feels a ray of hope in his heart, like a happy vision in a dream on a long dark night. He sometimes feels he is not meant for this shadowy fate but is at a loss to escape it. In the darkness of this place, something or someone searches for such ones...
