Friend, Foe, Centipede?
The creature let out a scared insect like chattering, scuttling down the wall and into the light, revealing a young woman with long brown hair and antenna that twitched, though her lower torso was still obscured by shadow. She put her bug thin arms up in surrender, looking scared beyond her wits. "D-D-Don't shoot! J-Just take what you want a-and leave! T-The money is i-in a safe!" She stuttered out, making more insect like chattering.
Ven looked a bit confused, lowering his gunblade slightly. "Wait. What?" She tilted her head in confusion too, though it looked more like a twitch due to her insect like features. "A-Are you not here to rob my store? I-I heard y-you a-and your g-gangmates walk in... A-And you have been talking to yourself the entire time..." She nervously laughed as Ven let out out an electric sigh.
"I'm not here to rob you... I'm just looking for someone named Senshi. You know her?" The woman looked nervous, scratching her neck as she made another chattering sound, this time more like a sigh. "I-I'm Senshi... Sir."
Ven looked pleasantly surprised, stowing his blade with a smile. "Great! Then you can tell us about Eido and how to get to her, right?" Senshi looked worried, shrinking back into the shadows. "Eido is very busy... She won't have time to meet fans... Even if they're dying like you."
"Well, I'm not a fan, I-... Do you think I'm dyin?" Ven said with a slight laugh, motioning to his face. "Well... Y-Yeah? A-Aren't you? W-Why else seek me out? Y-You're a dying fan and y-you want Eido to give you a last performance. Are you not dying?" She asked with a nervous laugh, going for a light switch.
"Wait!" Ven yelled before being blinded by his own night vision twice in one day. Senshi turned back to look at him, only to let out a horrified scream. "Y-Y-You're dead!? A-Are y-you a-a n-new Decaynine? I-I-Is E-E-Eido finally getting rid of me? D-D-Did she find out about what I did? Ohmollia, ohmollia, ohmollia." Senshi was having a full blown panic attack. Ven moved closer, trying to calm her down, only to see that Senshi's lower half was a full blown centipede body. "Woah! Okay! Let's calm down..." He smiled, trying his best to calm her.
After 5 minutes of explaining his situation and why he needed to get close to Eido, Senshi calmed down and began to crawl towards Ven, using her centipede body to loom over Ven as she wrapped around him. "SO you want m-me t-to give up b-being Eido's B-Best F-Friend? A-And s-sell out and be y-y-you're n-new friend!?" She let said with an angry sounding insect like chattering. Ven quickly reached for heartbreaker, but was swiftly stopped by Senshi as she used her body to rip the blade from him. She began to move around him tighter, trying to suffocate Ven and silence him.
"D-D-Die, R-Rabbit!" She yelled in a timid voice, trying to sound tough as Ven began to struggle, trying his best to yell for help.
"Hey, Rabbit. You in here?" It sounded like Vinea, who walked through the hole in the wall, looking around the seemingly empty room.
"Be quiet a-a-and I'll l-let y-you live." Senshi whispered as she and Ven where hanging from the ceiling by her body.
"Vine. You find him yet?" Avis asked as she walked in, walking around the room with a bored look. The Harpy and Vine boy failed to notice the giant Centipede woman holding their friend hostage on the ceiling.
The two were just looking around the room before Avis noticed Heartbreaker on the ground. "Huh... Do you think Ven would drop his fancy old blade on the floor?"
"I mean, he is a dumbass. But not that dumb. I reckon he's close." Vinea laughed, looking behind the barrels and accidentally knocking one over, causing it to make a horrible hissing sound as Mist began to leave it.
Almost as if on cue, Senshi dropped from the ceiling, leaving Ven behind as she scuttled quickly out of the room, yelling loudly to the trio: "RUN! THIS PLACE IS GONNA BE NOTHING IN ABOUT 34 SECONDS!"
The trio looked behind them to see that everything in the room was rapidly shrinking when in contact with the mist. Avis quickly tossed Ven heartbreaker, who in turn, quickly opened a portal to just outside the store.
The trio jumped through as they saw Senshi burst out the front door. As she got out, the store began to collapse before only a flyer was left in its place. Senshi fell to her many knees, staring at where her store used to be. "My Store... My work... My memories... Gone." She whimpered before beginning to cry her eyes out.
"D... Do we talk to her?" Vine asked with a shrug as Avis went over and comforted Senshi, who quickly grappled her. Ven readied himself for an attack, only to see Senshi wrapping her body around Avis in a hug.
"Aww, Avis got dinner." Vinea quipped before getting punched by Tid-Bit taking control of Ven. She smiled lightly at the sight, saying in an almost motherly tone:
"Let Senshi have this."
"What the hell did you guys do?" A familiar Feminine British voice yelled with an almost smug tone. Ven took control and turned to see none other then the first friendly face he met:
