Saving children

"So you already plan this?" Aditya said while looking at Nikita. Today he comes here to meet Mr. Sharma, father of Nikita, but instead, she comes here. As this project is important for them, Aditya doesn't say much. As for him, it is only business. But now he realized that this girl is planning something.

"What do you mean?" Nikita questions innocently.

"I will deal with you later. Tell Mr. Sharma that we don't need to do partnership in this project" After saying this Aditya leave the place. Nikita tries to stop him, but he gives her a look that makes her feel cold.

Meera after coming out decided to spend some time alone. Now she wanted to rethink everything. So she comes out of the hotel and goes to the opposite side so that her bodyguard can not find her. She decided to wander on street for some time so her anger might be calm down.

This area is quite a high-class area and there are many big hotels and clubs are here, but on the back side of this area are some quiet lanes. Meera while going from there hear a muffled cry and then a scream. And from the voice, she can say that this scream is from some child.

"System quest: Save children, other things are examined later" Meera hears the voice of the system.

Even if there is no quest Meera still going to see what is going on. She heads towards the voice. And to her surprise, she sees a little boy fighting with three big men and a little girl in a very bad situation.

"What are you doing with children?" Meera questions while coming towards them. She doesn't need to think much about what they are doing while seeing the scene.

"Aunty please help," The little boy said, and Meera obeyed. Thanks to Meera's defense class she can punch two of them while the little boy is also good at fighting. But those three people are also quite strong. At one point they punch Meera in her stomach and snatch the girl, while one of the man takes a rod and smashes it on the little boy's leg.

"No.....please help" Meera not able to stand this violence, the way that man hit the little boy. How can someone be so cruel? Meera stands up and pushes that man. But Meera realized that she is quite weak against them.

"Oh, so we get an extra cat to play with along with this kitten," One of the men said while wiping his saliva. From his words, Meera realized her situation. She asks the system for help, but before she can get an answer from the system she sees her bodyguards come with Aditya.

"Meera...." Aditya said.

"Husband..." Seeing Aditya Meera feel that her soul which is going to live in her body come back.

Meera doesn't need to say more, the bodyguard quickly moved and started to beat that three men.

"Meera are you okay?" Aditya said while coming near her. Thankfully he arrive in time otherwise.....Why Meera is so noisy?

"I am okay, let's take the children's hospital," Meera said while looking at both children. The boy gets unconscious when the man hit his leg while the girl doesn't make a sound from the beginning. But her face is too pale.

Aditya also understands the situation and orders his bodyguard. He takes the boy in his hand, while the driver takes the girl in his arms. But the girl started to cry and struggle.

Due to that punch Meera is in so much pain, but seeing the girl in this state, she comes forward and takes the girl in her arms. The girl seeing this hug Meera tightly. And this way they left for the hospital. While going towards the hospital the atmosphere in the car is too quiet.

After reaching the hospital the doctor tells them that even though the injury of the boy is quite serious but it is treatable. And they don't need to worry about the boy. While the girl only gets some scratches but is out of danger.

"baby come here" Aditya see that the girl doesn't want to get separated from Meera and calls her. From Meera's face he can see that she is in pain. The girl hesitated but agreed.

"Now Meera go do your checkup," Aditya tells Meera.

"Me?" Meera who is deeply in her thoughts questions Aditya. She can't help but overthink the situation. If Aditya doesn't come in time what might have happened. More precisely if she doesn't come there what will happen with this girl and the boy. She can't help but feel cold thinking about the outcome.

How can humans be so cruel?

"Don't overthink" Aditya said while guessing her thoughts. He is no different from Meera though, as he also sees the situation. The doctor sees the bruise on Meera's stomach which happen while fighting and prescribes her some medicines. Aditya and the little girl also see the wound. Aditya feels a little disappointed with himself. He is not completely able to protect his wife.

The doctor tells them to take sit and go outside.

"Boss police arrested those people, while other things are also taken care of. But for now, we are not able to find the parents of these children" Aditya's main bodyguard said while coming inside.

"hmmm, I understand"

"Baby, do you remember your full name?' Meera questions the little girl, the little girl makes a strange sound but is not able to speak. Seeing this they realize that this girl is not able to speak. While coming here the girl often looks towards her brother and cry, she even lost consciousness many times and now staring at the boy who is still unconscious.

Seeing the girl don't give any reply Meera decided something.

"I will stay here with these two children, you should go home. "Meera suggested.

"We should ..." Aditya wanted to say something but see the girl looking at him with teary eyes. He understands that this little child right now has no one to trust.

"We can't separate these two children right now. So it is better if I stay here. Aarav might be worried and you are good at convincing him, so you should go home" Meera said while making sure that girl sit comfortably.

"....Okay, but before I go let's eat dinner," Aditya said. Listening this, Meera remember the unpleasant memory and wanted to refuse, but she see the little girl who might be hungry and agreed.

Aditya tells his bodyguard about the food and the food arrives in some minutes. Meera gets freshened up. The girl is not willing to leave for even a second, and she is also not willing to leave the boy alone which breaks Meera's heart.

After eating dinner, Aditya kisses Meera's forehead. On other days Meera with some nervousness & with some excitement stay still, but today she rejects his kiss. Aditya understands that she misunderstood but this is not the place to clear misunderstanding.

"Don't overthink and don't conclude so fast. I will explain everything to you later okay" Aditya said while patting her head on which Meera nodded. No matter what if today Aditya doesn't come she might have died.

So for now she decided to not to overreact. After Aditya left, Meera once again reassure the girl and they both sleep on the extra bed in that room.

Today is very tiring. Meera thinks in her mind, but what she doesn't know is tomorrow is going to be more dam tiring.
