Qin Si's heart felt like it was stabbed from her every word. Rejected before he could even start, Harsh. However, he didn't give up though "I can't stop loving you, Feng Shi. I tried but I just can't and no one can ever replace you since all my heart had been engraved by your name. When you do find…someone else you love I can just love you from behind but for now please just let me love you and at least give me a chance".
When he said someone else his heart felt like being crushed but he meant what he said he love her too much that he can back down as long as she is happy. When that time comes he can just be her support as long as he stayed by her side. But until then he will fight and try his best to gain her love.
Feng Shi just smiled bitterly. They are not the same as she doesn't belong to this world, to his world. However, although she does not love anyone now there is a possibility that she might fall in the future but what then? She will just leave him behind. Can she leave her beloved behind? She can't fall for anyone since she will just eventually leave them behind.
Feng Shi could feel his sincerity and how deep his feeling but she just can't. It is better for him to give his love to someone that can love him back.
Feng Shi didn't say anything anymore as they both ate silently and then Qin Si drove her home.
Feng Shi look out of the window until they reached the building she is staying at. Qin Si got out first and opened her door. Feng Shi took the gifts he have given as she went out. "Thank you and Qin Si reconsider what I told you. You may just end up in disappointment if you keep loving me."
Qin Si just smiled bitterly before shaking his head. "I won't give up instead, I will just work harder to gain your heart. Feng Shi, I love you and it is up to me when it comes to who I give my love to and it is up to you whether you will accept this love. Please just let me love you. I won't force you to reciprocate"
She didn't say anything anymore while Xiao Wang just sat in the hood of the car watching them. "Good night, Qin Si"
He watch as she entered the building with Xiao Wang before getting back in the car. He would be lying if he said that her rejection didn't hurt. She didn't know how his heart felt like getting crushed by her. He couldn't do anything anymore since he have fallen for her too deep, fast.

It is finally time for Feng Shi to travel to Sky Mountain. She packed everything up before seeing the bear in her bed. She decided to just let it be then went out of the door and locked it first before heading to the elevator.
The crew has already gotten someone to get her as they are traveling together. The journey was uneventful as Meng Rou took a private plane with Han Chu since he have a meeting in the city near Sky Mountain. With her out and not causing trouble, the trip was peaceful and she spent the rest of the flight reading some books.
Sky Mountain has an ancient temple they decided to shoot in. There are no hotels so they have to make do with some tents. The mountain is known for its beautiful views as its heights are also so high you can be at the level of the clouds that is why it is a very good destination
Manager Xin couldn't come as she also has other artists to manage so only assistant Fu came with her this time.
Xiao Wang was well-behaved the whole trip. He silently stayed on her shoulder or sometimes in her lap.
Halfway through the mountain, they had to hike up as the road stopped there and a stone path led them to the top. The male crew members were in charge of the heavy bags that they brought so it wasn't much of a problem. She directly sat down on a nearby rock when they reach the top. The director let them rest for a while before ordering the crew to set up and she decided to also help in assembling her tent. Feng Shi decided to buy the latest tent that is already fully equipped with everything. Some artists did complain about sleeping on the ground but Feng Shi just listened as she doesn't mind. It was actually Xiao Wang who was indignant in letting his master sleep on the ground. She just shook her head in amusement at her complaining friend.
"Assistant Fu I will just go explore message me if anything happens" Feng Shi called out before heading to the stone path again. Xiao Wang decided to join her so he also walk behind her. They didn't walk far before they finally reach the summit since the temple is near the peak. Since it is frequently visited the temple was well preserved
She look ahead at the beautiful view as the cold wind blew stronger making her shiver a little. Xiao Wang wanted to make his master feel warm but if he adjust the temperature the world's consciousness would immediately notice.
Since he couldn't adjust the temperature he went to her shoulder and curled his tail around her neck as a makeshift scarf since she is only wearing a jacket. He also adjusted his body temperature.
Feng Shi smiled and scratched Xiao Wang behind the ear to show her appreciation.
She enjoyed the gentle caress of the wind while looking at the horizon with Xiao Wang
Since they arrived here when the sun reached its peak it is now almost sunset. The sky began to turn red. One woman and a wolf stood at the edge looking at the horizon. It was such a peaceful and charming picture. The sunset was such a beautiful sight yet a pang was felt in her heart like it was being squeezed. She felt a bitter and painful feeling before a leaving figure flashed in her eyes yet it was too quick which made it seems like an illusion
She frowned and touched her chest "Xiao Wang why did I feel…sad?"
Xiao Wang also felt what she did and could only gaze sadly at his master. "It seems that even if your memories are sealed he is still engraved in your soul. Master, sometimes I wish that you could never get back those awful memories" Xiao Wang sighed making Feng Shi curious.
"Xiao Wang, what do you mean?" Feng Shi inquired
"Master your memories are sealed in Realmless which is connected to your soul. It seems that even if they are sealed if it is stimulated you would get a glimpse but not only with the memory but your soul would react to it. So even if you don't remember your soul would still have a reaction to a certain extent"
She could get a glimpse of a memory if she saw something familiar or something that could stimulate her. Yet, with those memories, her soul would also transmit to her the feeling they bring which made her curious just what sort of past she had that even a simple memory could give her that much bitterness and pain. When she thought of it more it wasn't just pain and bitterness but… hatred?
After a while, Feng Shi remembered her question "Xiao Wang you never answered my Question. What did you mean when you said those sentences?"
Xiao Wang looks at the side not daring to tell her anything "It would be better if you remember them yourselves master".
She just looks back at the horizon deep in thought that she didn't even notice that the sky has already turned dark.
Fortunately, the stone path also has some lamps so the path still has some lights on them.
She look around at the already built campsite before heading to where the made-up kitchen is located and saw that they are already distributing food.
Assistant Fu ran towards her with two bowls of noodles "Good you're already here. I was just about to message you. Here, we have to make do with simple noodles for now. I know that you have an exquisite taste but just eat this since it's all we have we didn't have time to cook as everyone is tired"
Feng Shi just took the bowl from her "It's alright even simple ones have some simple unique tastes on them".
Assistant Fu really likes Feng Shi's adaptable and humble nature even if sometimes her coldness is a little annoying you would be able to get used to it after a while. Looking at the artist throwing a tantrum, she is really glad that she is assigned to her instead.
When she finished eating Feng Shi finally remembered to check her phone which was in a silent mood.
-Have you landed yet? I hope you had a safe flight
-It's breakfast, have you eaten yet?
-Don't forget to eat
-Was the flight uncomfortable?
-Are you there yet don't talk to strangers alright?
-You shouldn't eat too many unknown foods it will not be good for you
-It's lunchtime now so don't skip a meal
-Be careful there are a lot of bugs and snakes in the mountain
-The mountain is cold wear a jacket all the time
-I miss you already
-Take proper care of yourself
Qin Si sent more texts and it seems that he also called a few times. That man is a huge iceberg but he always showed his gentle side to her. Even with his very serious personality who dislikes talking too much, he is also quite romantic and caring.
Feng Shi decided to reply with a simple message "Already here, Take care as well. I have already eaten so don't forget to eat".
Not long her phone beeped again "Did you enjoy the sight there? Remember to rest properly and take care of yourself"
Qin Si and her message each other for a while before saying goodnight and she immediately went to sleep as they shoot early in the morning.
Sounds of cricket and other creatures rang through the night as Feng Shi slept while Xiao Wang stayed outside her tent and chased some bugs that dared to enter and stumped them to the ground. To the others, it looks like he is just playing but he is protecting Feng Shi from anything while also blocking the sounds so that they won't disturb Feng Shi's rest.
Sounds of crickets and other creatures in the mountain rang through the night as Feng Shi slept in peace undisturbed due to the loyal and thoughtful Xiao Wang.
Xiao Wang vigilantly guarded the tent to the point that no bugs could get in. He is even more resilient than the things that Feng Shi brought along to repel bugs.
The next day, the crew started getting ready for filming when the sun started to rise so Feng Shi also had to wake up early like the rest. She ate a simple meal before going to the lake that they have passed through to take a bath while Xiao Wang used a simple illusion to separate Feng Shi from any intruder.
After taking a bath they started Filming the part where the Female lead of the story arrived at the academy and finally met the male lead again. They both easily passed the tests and got into the special class.
They also have to make promotional photos so they will have a pictorial later at the peak. They have done the same in the first part which was at the studio only it was a solo shot this time she have to shoot with Lou Shan
When they went to the peak. Lou Shan approached her as she leaned in a tree. "Little Shi can I talk to you for a bit" everyone looked at them with curiosity so he added "In Private"
Feng Shi frowned before nodding and heading to the side "Is there something you need to tell me?"
Lou Shan hesitantly nodded "Your grandfather is celebrating his birthday and it is going to be held next month. Since they knew that we are on a film together your grandfather wanted me to convince you to go visit him"
Her grandfather has always been good to the host and even supported her chosen career as long as she is happy he will always be on her side. However, when the host was in trouble her grandfather was sick and bedridden.
Knowing how kind the old man is Feng Shi didn't mind visiting him however she is currently busy so she might not have the time "We have to continue filming"
Hearing her short reply Lou Shan grinned at least she didn't reject it. " I could ask the director for a leave for the two of us. It wouldn't be a problem at all, as in the meantime they could film scenes that don't include us the old man misses you little Shi" Lou Shan tried to persuade again.
She thought about it for a while before she nodded. The host's wish does contain reconciling and reconnecting with her family. She could use the event to do it "Alright tell them that I'll be going if only if I have the time"
Ho nodded very fast "Alright, I'll tell them right away. Come on Little Shi we have pictures to shoot"
Lou Shan pulled her while changing the subject so that Feng Shi would not change her mind.
The others look at them curiously as to why Lou Shan was so excited and what they talked about. In fact, Lou Shan was happy seeing that his friend was finally beginning to reconcile with her family.
She took a lot of intimate photos with Lou Shan for almost an hour. There wasn't much of a problem as the camera loves her. No matter which angle or what position it was still perfect.
The director clapped his hands and laughed "That's good! Lou Shan hug her from behind and Feng Shi lean on his chest"
She did as told while the photographer took their photos with occasional adjustments in their position. The photographer was one of the best and he had shot many photos in his life but nothing was more perfect than this.
Xiao Wang stood at the side glaring at Lou Shan for being too close to Feng Shi. If he could act he would have already ripped that hands off. Daring to touch his master like that, Hmp! how bold! It would be fine if he is his master's lover perhaps he could accept it but that man isn't so he should take that stupid arms of his away from his master!
She look over at Xiao Wang slightly and saw his fur also standing up while glaring at Lou Shan. She is both amused and touched at this little friend of hers protectiveness. When they finished shooting Xiao Wang immediately went into her arms and glared at the innocent Lou Shan who didn't know that he was just about to lose his hands a few minutes ago.
Feng Shi smoothed his fur as she went and sat down. Like always, assistant Fu handed her a bottle of water. She opened the lid and drank before stretching her stiff arms. Holding the same position for a long time only to change position again and hold it for as long as it takes to take the most perfect photo is tiring.
