If the bug keeps eradicating you, your complete existence may be forgotten and your memory to other people will vanish. Not only to your world but additionally in the complete multiverse."

Xi Sheng hummed and asked: "However I'm already dead, are not I?"

System 008 nodded as a sign of settlement and said: "Yes, you're already dead. And you created numerous messes on other worlds as well. Fortunately, 'He' gave us one extra chance and turn the time back earlier than your death."

A mechanical voice replied to her.

System 008 stood in the nook and watches how Xi Sheng's questions being turned down by the mechanical voice. After watching enough, he warned her that she could only ask one essential question, and after that, he will discuss the mechanics of the framework.

Xi Sheng became stern and stoic. The mechanical voice and 008 thought that she's going to ask a significant one....but expectation is different from reality.

She looked brazenly straight into 008's eyes.

The mechanical voice was baffled. What 'it' is she speaking about? Did he miss something?

However, because of some 'unexpected development' they collided on each other, for that reason the destiny of every world was ruined."

008's eyes wandered on the body of the 'unexpected development.' Xi Sheng took a stance of a dedicated scholar ignoring the suspicious eyes given by the system.

"Our objective is to make certain that each world will end at their predetermined outcome. So that, nothing like an 'unexpected death' as a result of a flying bullet will occur and the world will function smoothly once more."

Xi Sheng's eyes flickered with disdain: "System, you should not make fun of a dead person. It is rude, you know."

008 shot her a surprise and unrelenting stare, his high-pitched voice full of sarcasm: "What? Don't tell me you are that silly person whose sudden death caused by a flying bullet?!"

Xi Sheng's eyes twitched: "System... Your true colours are showing. [2]"

008 switched back to his formal expression: "Look at my skin."

Xi Sheng, this idiot, really did look at system 008's skin.

System 008: "My skin colour is virtually white. You recognize what white means?"

008 paused and with astute gaze, he continued no matter how audacious his next words were: "It means purity."

Xi Sheng cast a sceptical glance on 008, her words stuck on her throat:"..."

Even the owner of the cold and heartless mechanical voice can't help but to shut his mouth and own the misgivings in his heart:[...]

[1] "Can it still carry your family lineage?"-this phrase is referring to the previous chapter where Xi Sheng unconsciously kicked his *ahem*. So she was asking if it's okay and still usable...
