Anakas: [Because this is when that bodyguard of yours falls in love.]

Xiu Baiye: So that's what the attraction points are for? And there's a meter too?

Anakas: [Host knows too much.]

Xiu Baiye: Tsk. You don't know enough.

Anakas: [...I want to leave.]

"Baiye? Helloooo?" His friend waves her hand in front of Xiu Baiye's face while he internally bickers with his system. When he didn't react, she grabs a pastry and shoves into his mouth.

He calmly takes it out and takes a bite. "Sorry. I was spacing out. where were we? Oh, right. Luohai, come here." The transmigrator was taking this very seriously. A main mission was a main mission, no matter how annoying it was.

To everyone around him, they saw a handsome young man holding out his arms for another attractive man, waiting for a hug.

Looking at the young master holding his arms out, a pair of (metaphorical) puppy ears seemed to appear on Xing Luohai's head. Without even giving a warning, he envelopes Xiu Baiye in a big hug for the second time that morning.

For once, the system didn't respond. He felt the outline of his bag, and the fish creature was gone.

Xiu Baiye supposed that since the attraction meter was so high, he was going the right way. He lets go of his bodyguard and brushes the lint that had stuck onto Xing Luohai's suit. "Anyways. Let's hurry and eat, we can't be late."

Ling Xiaoyi, previously in a daze after seeing two fully-grown men embrace in front of her, rushed into the kitchen, shouting, "NOPE NOPE I'M NOT DOING THIS!"

The cafe was at its peak hour, and it seemed that the business was going quite well, so almost all the tables were occupied, except one.

A young woman with long blonde hair tied up in a bun sat in the corner reading a book with the title, 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. She had a foreign appearance, and was wearing a long coat.

The two approached her and Xiu Baiye asked in broken English, "Uh, ahem. May we sit here?"

When she looked up, her eyes almost closed as she smiled brightly, putting down her book gesturing towards the seats next to her. "Of course! Take a seat."
