Marriage Alliance

Vimal informed all the information he gathered to Rishi and left the room. Rishi laid on his bed and kept on thinking about ways to help Ashmita.

Suddenly a thought struck his mind and got up from his bed. But before he left the room, someone called his name sweetly.

"Prince Rishi.."

Rishi's heart bloomed with joy hearing his name after a long time. He sensed an underlying message that came along. It reminded him of some memories from Lotus kingdom. So he holds his breath and turns around.

To his astonishment there is a cute parrot standing on a window pane. Rishi remembered  seeing that parrot in Ashmita's hands once.

"Hello.. Umm.. Cute Parrot.." Rishi said awkwardly and moved towards it. He doesn't know whether it'd wish him back or not.

"Cute, I am. I know. But it's not my name..!! You could've asked me about myself before calling by stupid names. Understood Prince Rishi?" parrot said which left him speechless. 

"Come on..! I just came up with a nice name.. I think she took it personally,' Rishi thought to himself.

"Yes yes. I understood. So, may I know about this cute and beautiful Parrot?" Rishi asked with a smile.

"Sure, Handsome Prince. My name is Awesome Pichu. Well, that's what my friends call me, though I prefer Pichu only.. I'm telling the truth," Parrot said.

"I believe you. It's just as cute as you are. So, what brought you here?" Rishi asked.

"I am here to give you a message from my master, Prince Rishi," Parrot said.

"Is that so? So who is your master?" Rishi said while pretending to be thinking. 

"You really don't remember me? My Master is the ever beautiful, charming and powerful Princess of Lotus Kingdom, Ashmita who also goes by the name Devil Beauty," Pichu reflected it's pride clearly.

"Woah.. Now I remember you. I am really honoured to get the message from the Great Devil Beauty!" Rishi exclaimed.

"Indeed you are," Pichu said.

'No wonder such a feisty pet," Rishi thought and smiled to himself.

"So, it's not a message really. Let me explain. After so many considerations she selected one person. As a good friend of our kingdom and a humble person you are, she trusts you and wants to know your opinion in this matter," Pichu informed.

Rishi raised his brows and asked, "And... what is it about?" 

'Is she not even thinking of me as her friend? I am just a friend of the kingdom?' Rishi thought.

"What do you think about the Prince of the Cosmos Kingdom?" Pichi asked.

Rishi frowned and asked, "Why does she want to know about him?"

"I don't know the reason but this is the message," Pichi said while flying towards a cup of water. She started drinking and waited for the prince's response.

'Why did she suddenly get interested in him? Does the King want to make a Marriage alliance with another kingdom for the upcoming war? Is that the reason for this inquiry or has he already made such an arrangement? What is happening? I can't let this happen..' Rishi thought and replied to pichu.

"You mean the prince of Cosmos?" Rishi asked while pretending to be thinking.

"Yes...?" Pichu replied.

"Ah.. he is not a trustworthy prince. He is already having so many affairs and changes girls like clothes. And his skills are too weak and he can't even handle his sword. He is an alcohol addict so don't keep more expectations on him. That's all I know about him.." Rishi said with a straight face.

"It is better to marry someone who is more capable like me than that ugly prince" Rishi commented.

"Ok Prince Rishi. My job is done. I will take my leave," Pichu said.

"Wait.. Will you tell me how she is doing? Will you pass a message for her on behalf of me," Rishi asked.

"Apologies Prince Rishi. If you want to send your own messages send it on your own. I will just obey my master orders." Pichu said.

"If you are that concerned about her then why did you wait all these days instead of sending them yourself? Anyway, it's your choice. I am leaving" Pichu said and flew into the sky.

Rishi sighed and thought, 'I am afraid about how she thinks of me. I am not sure whether she is angry or sad. There are so many questions on my mind'.

'Cough' 

"Your Highness," Vimal said.

Rishi came out of his trance and looked at Vimal in confusion and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"I came to inform you that I am taking my leave for another mission." Vimal informed.

"Ohh okay. Go ahead and be careful," Rishi said by patting his shoulders.

"Sure and Thank you Your Highness" Vimal said with a bow.

"Um.. Your Highness.. The prince of Cosmos Kingdom is really a good person and he is your friend also. I just wonder why you said that.."

"In fact my goddess and prince of cosmos can make a great pair!" Vimal said without thinking anything.

Suddenly Vimal felt suffocating and he looked at Rishi whose face turned five shades darker with anger.

"Vimal, go run 1000 times round the palace and go to that other mission. Also remember you are deprived of your bonus for that mission," Rishi said coldly.

Vimal eyes widened with shock and before he protested rishi waved his hand to leave. Left with no option he went away running.

'Did I say anything wrong?' Vimal thought to himself while running.

Rishi's mood worsens after listening to Vimal's words and he went to Raj to ask for a solution.

Raj is having his afternoon nap peacefully but suddenly someone enters by barging into the room.

Raj woke up and looked at Rishi who was looking very upset about something.

"What happened to the prince of Iris? What's with that look?" Raj asked while placing his hand under chin.

"I'm in love. I think.. I am. In love.." Rishi stated.

Hearing that, Raj lost his balance and dropped his face onto the bed.

"What?" Raj shouted inaudibly.
