Chapter 7

"Hey, leave the girl alone." A man commanded the Python in a cheerful expression. It was as if the man was the Python's pal.

"Oh, no, she is supposed to be my supper, l will rest for a long period if I eat her.", The slowly. Python remarked. It seemed a bit irritated.

" I mean it, Tom. I'm not going to repeat myself"He remarked, still in a friendly expression.

"Alright, Alright, l will leave her, but you should know that you owe me." The Python unwinds itself around Zendaya's body.

Still frozen like she was covered by frost, Zendaya didn't even hear a thing. She couldn't have heard the snake but she should have heard the man. It seems that it is not just her body that frozen, but her mind as well that made her whole sensory system stop functioning. Her body was right on earth but she wasn't even on this universe. She didn't even feel her body.

"Hey, Hey are you alright?" The man repeated these words again and again while shaking Zendaya, trying to bring her back from this world.

The last thing I remember was seeing this gigantic snake heading in my direction. I don't know what happened but now l see a man holding my shoulder, wiggling my body."Are you alright", it what l think he is saying.

"What?" l abruptly replied. Now, l can even feel my body.

"Are you alright?", The man inquired.

" I'm alright?"I inquired back. Honestly, l wasn't certain that l was alright. l think I'm seeing things. Firstly, it was the Python that I don't know where it has vanished. Now a man wearing clothes that I've never seen anyone wearing, holding a spear. He is very gold. Perhaps I'm dead and this man is my Guardian Angel. He is here to take me to heaven, but l got to admit, my guardian is very handsome.

"You seem alright, and you're not harmed." The man responded.

"l may dead. Are you're my Guardian Angel? Are you here to take me to my ancestors". l inquired. l was concerned.

" No!"The man responded."I'm not your Guardian Angel and you are not dead" He was surprised about the question that this young lady, who is wearing a lot of beaded work. Arm wrist, legs, and waist bracelets including necklaces. She is very colorful. He wondered if these bracelets are not heavy. "My name is Zaire, what about yours?"

"My name is" l waited for a while. This man is not from Amari. He doesn't know me and my past. If l tell my real name then he may ask around and found a lot about me. The last thing I want is to be teased about being Queen Zendaya. l hate this expression."Zuri, Zuri is my name."

"Nice to meet you, Zendaya" He replied with a kicky expression. He made it look like he knew everything about me like he was my friend since we were kids.

"What? You know my name, how? Are you from Amari village?"

"No that is not the question. The question is, why did you lie to me, while told my real name? In that playful expression, he inquired.

"No, you should answer me .l asked you first"

"Are you going to compel me? "

"Just answer my question." l furiously enunciated.

"Okay, then I'm from your village, and l know everything about you." With a friendly expression

"No, you not from this village, but tell me how do you know my name?"

"Of course, I am not from your village. You shouldn't have asked that question and about your name, lets just say you can't lie to me." Zaire replied in a playful tone.

l looked straight into his eyes and said "What do you mean by that?"

"I have magic and every time, someone will lie to me then I will automatically know." He said playfully. I wasn't sure that he was being honest or what?

A man who seemed to have a vivacious personality.Tall and almond in color. Well- build, with long medium thicked locs. A hawkish nose and eyes that sparkled with mirth.No beads and face so smooth like a newborn. He was wearing long gold trousers, which seemed to be fish textured and he was a bare chest, with a six-pack. The chest was not the one that amazed Zendaya. It was the trousers and how gold he was. Apart from the gold trouser, he was also wearing a gold bracelet which had a blues jam that sparkles. Holding a gold spear, thicker than the usual spear. This man is not from Amari. In this evil forest, he could be anything.
