Queen of The Dark Returns For Revenge

Even in the middle of the night, the sky was bright due to the use of the fireworks. In a grand majestic hall, people were drinking wine and talking. They were laughing wildly as if celebrating a joyous occasion .Laughter covering the fear of the dark was heard. They were celebrating the fall of the 'Queen Of The Dark', the previous queen of the underworld of Europe and the rise of the new king.

Crown of the underworld was shifted from the queen to the backstabber whom she had trusted the most.

This is the underworld where people are only loyal to power and money but not the people. When she was in power they were swearing their loyalty in front of her and now they are wagging their tail in front of "him" who had killed her.

People there were wearing facemasks but they knew of each other's identity. Each person's identity was so grand that one could never dream of staying alive after offending them. But now some were busy cursing the previous queen, some were busy praising the new king and also some remained neutral but it was obvious that they were supporting "him".

A middle aged man wearing a black tuxedo carrying a ancient looking book in his hand was entering the hall with a young man. The young man was in early thirties but he looked like he was in early twenties. He was almost six and a half feet tall. He had a roman nose, sexy lips and phoenix shaped eyes, a sharp jawline, broad and strong shoulder. His upper face was covered by a masks only revealing his sexy lips. He was wearing a white tuxedo. He then started walking down the red carpet towards the throne which was located at the other end of the hall. Watching the throne he revealed a sinister and a ruthless expression.

The throne was made up of only gold and diamond. It had a soft, red coloured cushion on its seat and at the back. It looked like the throne used by the Emperor in the ancient historical series shown in the television.

He walked towards the throne and sat on it. He then looked at the people who were standing below him with an indescribable expression for he knew they were like dogs hungry for power. He was like a emperor who was watching some insignificant lives.

The middle aged man stood beside the throne. He was like a loyal protector of the Emperor. He coldly glanced at all the people and said in a cold voice, "Let us begin the ritual." He had used internal energy to speak so all the people could hear his voice clearly. There was pin drop silence in the hall. People didn't even dare to breath loudly.

After speaking, he opened the book which he was carrying. It had a leather cover and the book looked rather old. He turned the pages of the book and said in a commanding voice, "Kneel."

Till then all the wine glasses were already kept in the trays presented by the waiters.

Following the orders all of the people started to kneel. They firstly removed their facemasks and placed them near their left leg. They placed their left knee on the ground while the right knee was above. They had their right hand placed on their chest and the left hand was in their back. They also had lowered their heads to show respect to the new king.

Watching all the people kneel in front of him, the new king then placed his hand at the armrest of the throne. He then looked at the statue of a female who was wielding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. It was located at the side of the throne in such a way that it was able to see the person in the throne and all the people who were kneeling before him.

If people didn't watch closely they would surely think it as a ordinary statue laced with gold and diamonds. But if one looked closely, they would be able to see its red rimmed eyes and the contraction of the pupil. There was a person hidden in the statue who was able to see and hear everything.

He looked at the statue with a sneer on his face. He made sure that the previous queen would be able to 'participate' in his happiness.
