3 Death In Exchange For Love (1)

The person in the statue was precisely the previous queen of the underworld. But she was now cut in such a sorry state. She had numerous wounds in her face and her body. Looking at her no one could even think that she was a queen that had fallen through the abyss of hell.

Even though she looked nothing better than a beggar but she was still excluding the aura of a queen. A common person will just kneel before her after looking at her deep eyes which could suck the soul of a person.

The statue was a machine and as soon as the botton was pressed, it started to remove itself from the queen and only the parts of the statue which were helping her to stand up were left.

After watching such condition of the queen except Jun Liang every body else's face remained indifferent. The new King had a sneer on his face whereas Jun Liang's face became as pale as the sheet. He had supported the new King but he also didn't want the old queen to suffer. After all he had seen her grown up. He had been in every stages of her life. He had been present when she had just come in the world and now he is also present when she is breathing her last breath

He also knew that the old Queen will suffer after this but didn't think that she would suffer to this extent. He had supported the new king but he (the king) had also promised him that he would allow her to die peacefully.

The lady in the statue then glanced at the new King and Jun Liang coldly but she knew that her heart was torn into pieces. After all the only two person, except her subordinates whom she considered as her family had betrayed her.

She knew that her body was poisoned and she would probably not live after today if she was not provided with the antidote. She knew that the poison was dangerous but didn't know that it was the most dangerous and effective poison in the whole world that could easily paralyze a person within a few seconds after taken.

But before dying she knew that she wanted answers. So she tried to speak but couldn't. The new king glanced at her and knew that she wanted to speak so he took out a remote from his pocket and pressed a button.

As soon as the button was pressed, a small device which was emitting a blue light clinging to her neck suddenly fell off. It then stopped emitting blue light and rolled to the feet of the King. She had recognized the device as it was the latest creation of her group and they were so happy to present it to her. She glanced at him and coldly asked, "Why?"

She managed to speak but her body lower than her neck had been paralyzed so she could not move at all. She could also no longer feel her body.

'Why did you even betray me when I made sure that you would get the best of everything in the world? '

'I have always protected you, never allowed you to be bullied by others in the family.'

'I had always treated you as my family, my only kin, trained you to be the best among the youths.'

'In the end in the exchange of everything that I have done for you till now, all i got was a poison that will definitely kill me.'

After listening to her hoarse voice, Jun Liang legs gave up and he kneeled, tears gradually falling through his eyes. His eyes were bloodshot and his shoulders and fingers covering his face were trembling. He could only murmur, " I am Sorry" repeatedly.

King looked at her and for the slightest moment his eyes flashed guilt, grief and despair but he quickly covered it up. Though it was done within a second but it was still caught by the previous Queen who was eyeing his expression.

He regained her composure and sneered at her, " Don't you know the answer yourself elder sister?"
