CHAPTER FIFTEEN

THE PALACE

Chang min was about meeting up with hung-ok who by the way had called him about a hundred times, telling him how late he was, walking out of the door he saw a maid, smiling sweetly at him .

"her highness princess hung-a asked,me to give you this"

today it was a different maid ,who delivered the meal

"tell princess hung-a that I am grateful but I would appreciate it if she____________"

the maid gave Chang min no time, quickly dropping the lunch box and left laughing childishly as she left like she and Chang min just shared a joke.

from afar,hung-ok waved at Chang min smiling sweetly to him,the sun making her skin glow,Chang min for a minute was only focused on her,Chang min walks up to her with the new secretary in tow as they entered the car which drove off

unknown to them hung-a watched from afar

madam lee at her back and call

"your highness aren't you a bit worried about princess hung-ok"

"why would I be, can't you see,she already knows that she is defeated, everyone is saying bad things about her but she is busy in her dream land thinking Chang min will be her night in shining armor"

"but princess hung-a aren't you too relaxed on this matter"

"why won't I be,by tomorrow there will be a vote on princess hung-ok dismissal, besides an Intel told me that they have no evidence or favor on their side",

hung-a says smiling at her job well done, for the first time min ho does his job right

"but princess hung-a, you shouldn't underestimate a dog just because he wiggles his tail",

"oh please madam lee,it's such a beautiful day don't ruin it with your presence"

OUTSIDE THE PALACE

the driver who drove hung-ok and Chang min was a person who Chang min trusted,he was on their side, finally arriving at the orphanage,all the workers eyes where transfixed on hung-ok and her companions,their obvious murmurs could be heard by hung-ok herself.

the head nun came to welcome her but one could see she was not so happy to see her unlike some of the workers who were overjoyed to see the crown princess come to visit.

finally getting to her office,the head nun,out of courtesy first allowed princess hung-ok to sit down before taking her sit,Chang min stood by hung-ok right while the new secretary sat by her left

"your highness what could I offer you?"

"nothing of you don't mind but I would very much like to see the other working staffs"

puzzled about why,she called a worker to organize the workers,on getting there only 2 workers were present

"what is going on here?"

hung-ok secretary asked the nun and the worker sent to call for the gathering

"why will you ask me that?, you saw when I told her to gather everyone, probably they did not feel safe coming here",

the worker replied rudely,with the two other workers present nodding heads

"what does that mean by that how can you be so disrespectful towards the crown princess of Korea"

her secretary says in anger

Hung-ok raises her hand up as a gesture for her to stop talking, smiling sweetly to the workers

"if that's the case it fine, but if you don't mind can I see the children?"

"I am sorry but the children are all having a very important program now and I am sure you wouldn't like to disturb them",

"it's true, you are right we will be on our way", hung-ok says walking away with Chang min and her secretary right beside her

"is that it ?"

"that what?" hung-ok asks Chang min

"are will going to give up now",

Chang min asks hung-ok

"you are right sir, I thought for a minute on arriving that we were going to get what we came for today but I guess once again something is holding us back",

the secretary says

at that moment, hung-ok remembered what the queen regent said looking at Chang min then began running back to where they exited,with Chang min and the secretary behind her

"what are we going back for?"

the secretary asking as she ran too

the nun and workers were about going to do their various tasks when to their surprise they saw the princess running towards them, getting to where they were, hung-ok breathing heavily, hung-ok could see that the workers were out of hiding,they all thought,she has left not wanting to see her

"your highness you are back did you lose anything? "

the nun asked , knowing they have been caught but didn't care

"I came back because I forgot something,I would like to apologise to all of you"

to their greatest shock hung-ok bowed before them to apologise

a secret smile cripped up Chang min face,but her secretary was totally shocked.

THE PALACE

since early that morning the ministers kept on arriving one after the other, arriving with their secretaries and assistant,the palace was filled with people that morning, princess hung-a dressed elegantly, welcoming the guest with her fake smile and Innocence, thinking of how a princess could welcome them personally which made them adore her,due to the fact that she had been involved in politics way longer than hung-ok she seemed more closer to them, unlike hung-ok,hung-ok had been nervous all through their arrival,

"my hands are shaking Kim Soo-ra and wet for no reason",

hung-ok says to Kim Soo-ra

"your highness you have got nothing to worry about"

then with a pause Kim Soo-ra continues

" I wish I could say that, but it's seems I am infact shaking more than you are"

"do I look okay,I hope my hair is well made,I think the color doesn't suit my skin color, wait isn't the dress too short"

hung-ok kept asking questions upon questions

hung-ok secretary looked as her in wonder, hung-ok dress was a long dress and she still asked if it was short,

"don't worry your highness I have been here for a short while but what I know is that the truth wins"

"have you heard from Chang min yet?"

"no, not at all,I wonder where he is?"

"your highness, I think it's time to attend the meeting, and please don't forget that it is being broadcasted live,so please, please don't get me more work than I can handle"

kim Soo-ra says smiling towards her as a form of encouragement,

"ready?"

she asks hung-ok

"yes ready" hung-ok replies
