Meeting up with a friend?

I wake up with a headache but overall my vision came back to normal so I guess it's all fine

I wonder how it got to the point of blacking out...

I Must have been more tired then I thought

So sad, I thought with a sarcastic smile

I slowly got off the bed... I guess someone brought me back home?

Well I guess the nurses office would have been closed after school

Mrs Cooper probably brought me home

I didn't really care anymore cause I'm home...

But I do wonder who caught me?

Whatever best not to think about it... I'll stay sane longer

I walk over to my closet to change into some casual clothes so I can head out of the house

I quickly put on the clothes and fix my hair before looking for my phone

It only took a minute to find and with that I was out the door of my bedroom heading down stairs

I almost went falling forward down the stairs when I saw who was in the living room

'Shit' I thought while holding the railing and pulling myself back up

My face went blank as I slowly looked up at the man who was on my couch

'Pervy dude' I thought with a annoyed groan

I sighed as I finally continued walking down the stairs, gave him a polite smile and continued walking

To be completely honest unless I woke up with him in my room I wouldn't really care

With that in mind once I reach the door I tell him with a dangerously low voice that I find to be a little much say "if I find out you went into my room while I was away... I will kill you"

I was just about to finally leave when I heard a nonchalant but slightly disappointed voice saying

"Your leaving already?"

"I don't like staying at the house but your welcome to stay, see ya" I say with a slight pause while I finally leave the house

I hear him start to say something but the doors already shut so I couldn't hear any of it

'I hope he doesn't do any weird shit in the house... and for the sake of my sanity I hope my dad goes back to normal and stays away from the damn house for a while so he doesn't see him'

I sigh as a look up at the sky while walking

I had almost forgot that today was her welcome back day...

I smile while thinking about it just to end up frowning while thinking

'Before I go meet her I should probably get her a welcome back present'

I quickly pull out my phone to call an Uber

'I should have got this present days ago' I think with a sigh

After a few minutes of standing the Uber comes and I give him the directions to the place I'm gonna get the gift at

While in the car I check the time

I have two hours till I have to meet a old friend

She's gonna be pissed if I am late or she gets stood up again

One time I had invited her out for a little celebration because she surprisingly successfully graduated Highschool and even got a few scholarships which was above both of our expectations in both of our minds. But sadly I fell asleep and when I woke up my phone was filled with missed messages and when I looked in the mirror my face was covered in sharpie drawings. I called her to tell her I couldn't make it and I was sorry. After I said my piece she laughed and said it wasn't a problem, and that she went out anyway and she was using my credit card as payback! Although that might not sound like much to some people but my friend there is what you call a... compulsive shopper.... And dear god the amount of money she spent was no joke! Even after all the money she spent she still made me make it up to her by hanging out and doing our own personal celebration together.

That thought brought a bright smile to my face

It's been so long sense I last saw her... I wonder if she changed her hair color yet again

I laughed while I got out of the car and looked up at a certain shop just across the rode

Although it looks on the older side it's a fantastic store once you actually go in

I quickly got across the street and went to work looking for a specific type of thing that should be found somewhere

One thing you should know about my friend is although she shops a lot she she is most interested in glass butterfly's and sometimes other animals. If she can she would always buy them whenever she finds them at stores

If she had to chose between all her bags and shoes or a single glass figuring of an animal I think she would immediately pick the figuring

And although she is definitely a weirdo she's the kindest weirdo you could meet at heart even if she doesn't show it

She can definitely be a bitch at times as well but that's just her being her

I walk into the store and look around

I wish I was here shopping for myself cause there's a lot of cute things here!?!?

I start walking around just looking at everything over and over

I only start actually looking for my friends present when I see the owner of the store looking at me weird from behind her desk

I stopped at one of the cabinets that's filled with a lot of glass figures

Sense there wasn't a butterfly one I just look at all the other glass animals on the shelf

There's was a hummingbird, a funny looking dragon, a crocodile, a turtle, an elephant, a few dolphin ones, a tiger, a few swans, and some deer ones

There were more but most of the others weren't animals

I stare for a while before choosing the tiger one for her and I get the deer for myself

I quickly go to the front desk to pay for them not wanting to stay much longer

I walkout of the store relatively happy

I check my phone to see how much time I have till I have to meet her

... still have an hour twenty till I have to be there...

I try and estimate how long it will take to get to the club from here and come to the conclusion that I can walk and still probably have ten minutes to spare

So with that I begin walking with my shopping bad in hand
