Drowning Sorrows with friendship and Alcohol

We jumped in her car and instead of going straight to a club like I thought we first went to her apartment where she forced me to change into our 'new outfits'

She made me wear a loose fitting navy blue dress that stops a few inches above the knee with a black fur mini hoodie coat to go with it. While she wore a matching outfit just with the dress color being red and the coat being white.

By the time we did get to the club Mia had already drank a bottle of scotch she keeps in her car

As I step out of the car I see nothing less then I expected, In front of me stood a glowing building

Sigh.... Why couldn't we have just gone to a shitty QUITE bar...

Just as I was about to suggest going somewhere different a sadly still sober Mia drags me to the line at the front

I just hope Mia can get drunk sooner rather then later cause once that happens she gets all slow and depressed and its easy to get her home

After a moment of conversation with the person at the front Mai manages to get us into the club in record breaking time

inside almost the whole room is covered in flashing lights and loud music the only place that looks even half way normal is the bar which is far enough away from the colorful lights to be painted a normal white and yellow glow from the lights and has black marble counter

Looking around I could see lounge areas and high tables to enjoy with friends or away from most people at the main bar area

A dance floor that already has a decent amount of people on it...

I just gave up on looking around more when I was yet again dragged along by Mia over to the bar

We sat down at two of the bar stools in the middle of the bar

Mia quickly flagged down a bar tender and ordered three glasses of Everclear

...A drink that defiantly had a decently high alcohol content

I give her a knowing look for a moment which she just shrugs off

Her ignorance just leaves me to let out a sigh

"why'd you order three?" I ask thinking she made a mistake

"I already had alcohol before we got here to make it even you have to drink TWO, haha don't be a stick in the mud" she laughs out while sticking out her tongue and try's to make herself look cute... which works but my urge to throw her off the chair gives me the perseverance to keep an angry face none the less

I can only shake my head as the bar tender lays down three glasses and fills the up with Everclear and adds ice

He asks if we wanted to add something else to it but Mia quickly turns him down

I pick up one cup and just look at it from the bottom

The liquor is completely colorless... and tasteless

I look over at Mia and although her glass isn't empty but its defiantly on its way...

Just by smelling the drink I bet if your alcohol tolerance was low enough you might be able to get drunk... just that thought was enough to make me smile

I try downing the drink in one go but end up stopping half way

I stop and try to see if you could actually feel the alcohol separate from the drink going through your body....

I go a bit light headed for a moment then everything comes back just as fast and I go back to my drink though drinking it a bit slower then last time so I don't make a fool of myself and start chocking on my own liquor

After a good ten minutes I just finished drinking both glasses while Mia was going on her forth though I did convince her to start drinking something with a lower alcohol level

I silently made a vow that the moment she drinks ten glasses I was dragging her ass out of there before she can even try and ask for another

Without a drinking buddy I bet this dumbass would drink so much alcohol she'd end up having to get her stomach pumped at a hospital

Instead of ordering the same drink Mia ordered for me I just asked the bartender for a on the rocks martini when he came back around

I am so making Mia pay for all of this before we leave dear god

..............

...It only took twenty more minutes for Mia to finally get to that tenth drink

And the moment she stood up she was already staggering side to side

"Lwizzy~ why'd you think he left me for that two-face little girl~" she starts as I hold onto her to keep her steady as we head back to her car

" was I not pretty enough?" she says with a baby voice

"WERE MY BOOBS NOT BIG ENOUGH!?" she yelled with a whinny voice that got the attention of some of the people around us as she try's to make her boobs look bigger while looking at them with a depressed face

"No baby girl~ you weren't the problem nor were your boobies" I say with a sad voice though I really wanted to laugh at the fact I just said boobies like I was a little kid again

Just as I say that Mia breaks out into tears as I finally get her outside and get out the keys to her car while still holding her

"Then why'd he leave me! He had all this talk about starting a family!?! He even convinced me to give him money to start his goddamn business!?! KITTY CAT WHY'D HE LIE! Some of it must have been true RIGHT?" She keeps sobbing as she says my nickname in the last sentence

I sigh while trying to think of something to tell her...

"Oh baby, not every one is an angel like you they have this seed inside them that keeps telling them to use people like you to get ahead and they can be found everywhere, the fact that there is still people like you in this world princess is a miracle. So you cant keep crying over that sorry fool cause he let a gem like you slip though his disgusting hands..." I hummed as I hugged her for a moment

I clicked unlock on Mia's car keys and finally unlocked her car

After giving her a moment to calm down a bit I miraculously got a drunk Mia in the car

I was the most sober of the two of us at the moment so I deiced to drive her back to my place...
