Sage doesn't quite understand why he feels excited and giddy upon hearing his name called by Kyra. Perhaps it's because it's been a while since he has been addressed as "Sage" as, during his time in hell, everyone referred to him as "My Lord" or "The Devil."

Sage never tells anyone his name, but he tells her. He does not know why he tells Kyra his name, but to convince himself, he rationalizes that perhaps it's because she is investigating him. He feels excited to reveal his identity, only to see her reaction.

However, Sage must be aware of Kyra's impact on him since he told her his name, something he never did with anyone else.

What should someone do if they deny their attachment to someone they believe they could never become attached to?

It is difficult for Sage to accept that he is attracted to Kyra and wants to find with whom he is pleased that he does not like Kyra.

Sage denies the feeling that he has some attachment to Kyra by repeating in his mind, 'It is because I am getting into my character which would make Kyra fall for him.'

Princess Kyra was looking at him, but Sage was in his world. Prince Charles and Prince Gabriel were glaring at him.

Princess Kyra's voice made him look at her, "Are you here to take me with you?"

Sage looked at her and frowned, "Why? Do you also want to try negotiating with me like your parents are? Oh, I forgot you think that your parents didn't care about you. They were coming up with ideas to stop me from taking you."

Princess Kyra looks at him and then at her parents. She was surprised. Why? She feels that her parents are afraid of him, and that is the main reason they are not trying to stop him from taking her.

Today, she sees a glimpse of sadness on her parents' faces. They hide it well so that no one knows that they are hurt. She felt the hurt of seeing them, the pain of not understanding her parent's stand.

She felt regret for not forgiving them. They were sorry to give up on her. Why didn't she understand earlier?

Sage continued, "But they couldn't find anything because if they broke their deal with me, they had to face consequences. So, they choose to give up on you rather than break the deal. Such a selfish parents you have."

Sage intentionally told her hurtful things, hoping to make her feel pain and regret. He believed that these emotions would make it easier for him to take her to hell. Although he could try other methods, he chose this one specifically.

Kyra initially felt happy to know her parents looked for clues to save her, but her joy was short-lived when Sage added words that any teenager would resent.

Kyra's emotions change from happy to angry as she fists her hand in a ball feels the hurt, and thinks that her parents are selfish.

Kyra thinks, 'Only to save their Empire and their position, they give up on their daughter.'

It is what he wants. Sage smirks as he sees Kyra's fisted hand and then a change in her expression.

Emperor Frederick was the first one to discover the presence of Sage. He gives a sign to Duke James to go to the kids.

Empress Mary saw her husband looking at Duke James, watched them exchanging looks, and followed their gaze to find out the presence of the Devil.

Empress Mary was shocked to see him with Kyra. She said to her husband, "Why is he early?" Emperor Frederick turned and looked at his wife. Her face is pale, and her hands are shaking.

Emperor Frederick knows that she is scared as much as he is. They don't want their daughter to leave them, but they already made a deal with him. He replied, "I do not know why he is early." They look at each other.

There is sadness in their eyes. They see it in each other eyes.

They were afraid Sage would leave with her without saying goodbye. They didn't know their fear would become reality.

Sage knows that if he lets Kyra talk to her parents, she will forgive them, and their regret will be less than before. So, he decided to take her with him now.

Before they reach them, Sage smirks at them, the Princes and Duke James. They didn't understand the meaning behind Sage's smirk till Empress Mary mouthed, "The barrier." Princess Kyra catches sight of his lips moving like he is using some spell.

Before Princess Kyra could recognize the spell he was using, she saw him raising his hands to the side and making a circle with his eyes on her.

She saw a portal that he just made. She looked at her parents and gave a sad smile to them. Sage grabs her hand and pulls her toward himself. She was facing him, but her gaze was at her family.

She will never see her parents, brothers, and Uncle J. The tears were threatening to fall from her eyes. She closes them, and the tears fall to her cheeks.

Sage observes tears streaming down her eyes, feeling a pang in his heart. His smirk fades away, and he becomes concerned. He moves her towards the portal he had created but stops himself from taking her away from her parents.

Mage Luke arrived at the ballroom later than expected and saw a stir among the guests with the arrival of Sage. The room was buzzing with conversation and laughter, changed to gloom when Sage made the barrier to stop Kyra's family from coming near them.

Before Mage Luke stops the barrier, Sage casts another spell, and a portal forms at the side. Mage Luke stops and looks at Sage as his expression changes into concern when he sees Kyra's tears.

Mage Luke observes Sage's expression because he wants to be sure of something. There is hope for Kyra to stay alive if the human Sage still resides in the Devil Sage. If he is there, then they do not have to worry about Kyra's well-being in hell.

The Emperor and Empress saw him taking their daughter before them without letting them hold her in their arms. Prince Charles, Prince Gabriel, and Prince James also saw it as they didn't know how this happened. In a few minutes, he snatches her from them.

The scene is in slow motion for Kyra and his loved ones, but for the guests, it is fast. They do not know what has happened in the ballroom. When the guest turns their head to Emperor Frederick and Empress Mary, they see the tears sticking faces, and there are no signs of Princess Kyra and the man.

Duke James noticed that his brother and sister-in-law were upset. He informed the guests that the Emperor and Empress were not feeling well and needed time for themselves.

The guest understands what he means. He can't tell them to leave on their face. It's not like they want to leave the ballroom and give the rulers time to overcome the incident that just happened.

The guest wants to know what happened in the ballroom and if the man who stood before Princess Kyra a moment ago is the Devil.

They don't want to do something that makes them come into the bad books of the rulers of the Qeania Empire. So, they walk out of the ballroom.

Qeania Empire was the only one feared by their people and neighboring kingdoms after the Iqustagia Empire. Mage Luke also left.

Empress Mary cried out, "Frederick, please bring her back..." She lost her consciousness due to shock. Emperor Frederick picks her up in bridal style and takes her to their Chamber.

Duke James told Prince Charles and Prince Gabriel to go to their room. They were reluctant at first but knew they should leave the hall.

Duke James walks out of the ballroom and sees his younger brother, Duke Albert. Duke Albert did not stay in the Qeania Empire as he wanted to see other nations. So, he went for the tours to the nation, and this time, Duke Albert was on the mission the Emperor had given him.
