"You, like many princesses, were born gorgeous. You hid it because you were afraid it would cause you problems. But it appears that you are no longer able to conceal it." Her father spoke with a sigh coming out of his mouth, but he continued just as she tried to speak.
"So don't hide it any longer! Bring out your beauty and find love. You can't expect to fall profoundly in love by chance. You have to feel it crawling through your skin." Then he turned to face the Wolf King, saying, "Your Majesty, if you ever feel you can't sincerely love her, just love her beauty. I just don't want you to leave her behind. As her father, I would like to make this request."
Rose's pupils twitched slightly as she noticed Gabriel leaving the restaurant without saying anything.
"Whether I fall in love with her or not, I will not abandon her. This is my commitment to you." Wolf King spoke with the same pride and respect in his eyes.
"Hush! I'm afraid, daughter, you'll have to marry his majesty before your mother wakes up." Rose's father said to her as he turned his head. He also observed Gabriel departing and sighed at the emotion on his daughter's face.
While she accepted someone, she destroyed the hearts of others. Love is a harsh thing. And he believes this remark to be correct.
"But, why?" Rose was astonished and looked at her father, perplexed.
"Because the wolf pack slaughtered your mother's family." Her father clenched his hand and uttered those words with harsh teeth. He exhaled as his fist loosened and turned his head to face Wolf King. "Please accept my apologies, your Majesty. But I'm afraid we won't be able to relocate to the Beast continent."
"No, you have to!" The Wolf King screamed at them, terrifying the daughter and father for a moment. He shifted his gaze to other bystanders. "Leave!"
In an instant, his eyes went savage as he aimed his ferocious killing intent upon them. As a result of his acts, bystanders were afraid and ran.
"I apologize for frightening you." Wolf King bowed down and spoke after they left.
"Your Majesty, you should never, ever bow to anyone." The priest behind him suddenly yelled.
"Anyone but family!" Wolf King shook his head at the priest and spoke rudely. Then he spoke to Rose and her father while turning his head. "You two are Rose's weak point. Rose, on the other hand, is my downfall. And I am my tribe's weakness. Despite the fact that I am the strongest member of my tribe."
'Your Majesty, you are decimating Grand Elder from your memory.' Everyone else, even the priest, was silent. They were well aware that their king was fond of referring to himself as the strongest.
"As a result, you two must return to the Beast Continent. Don't worry, as I previously stated, the area where you will be staying will be teeming with humans. She will understand if you thoroughly explain everything to her mother-in-law."
Rose's father gave him a serious look. He could see the change in his expression as he spoke. Wolf King was doing everything he could to keep his excellent behavior. But this made him happy. After all, he was afraid that his daughter would be abandoned or turned into his plaything.
"OK, I'll listen to you on this one." Rose's father eventually accepted his offer, sighing.
'So, am I going to marry him?' Will he be alright? ...… Of course not, Rose, you broke his heart. With that broken heart, how could he be okay? You should understand what it's like to have your heart broken.' Rose couldn't decide whether to feel sad or happy.
But there were other things that made her unhappy. Since his undeniable appearance was the only thing that made her happy. He was nearly flawless.
"Do you have any concerns about him?" Wolf King took a step closer and questioned, his gaze fixed on the door.
"N-no!" Rose was taken aback by his question. She closed her eyes and said to herself, 'Come on Rose, you're going to marry someone.' How can you think of another man when he's right in front of you?'
"He'll be back soon. Those are the eyes I've seen. He will soon take control of his family, rise to the ninth rank, and lead humanity against our tribe for you. Because they exists, your fear prevents you from loving him." Her spirit was gripped by fear when she heard his words.
That's the real cause. She couldn't love him because she was afraid of them. She was terrified. Will she love him again if he truly overcomes her fears? She'd also be married to someone else. So, why would he come after her?
And can she truly love him if he overcomes his fear? Will she abandon the Wolf King and then return to him? Is she going to? She has no idea. But when Wolf King talked, she couldn't help but notice his confident expression.
"However, I am not going to lose. I have a distinct advantage. I'll do all in my power to win your heart. And I'm going to win."
When she attempted to answer, he said, "But I need you to make me fall in love with you as well. So, how about we place a bet?"
"Bet?" Rose was a little disturbed when she heard that word. For a little moment, she thought he mistook her relationship for a game.
"However, first and foremost, let us get married." Wolf King smirked and offered her hand as she approached the venue built behind the restaurant. It was a little space. There weren't many people there. But it's incredible. The entire stage was made of flowers.
They completed the marriages in a matter of minutes because her mother was about to awaken. The rings were already in place. When they were both wearing the ring, the priest said, "Now, the groom and bride shall kiss each other!"
"Huh!" Rose and Wolf King both had a sour expression on their faces as they gazed at Priest. One was bound by a pledge, while the other refused to kiss. But the priest's following comments clarified the situation.
