Cook's Worth

Rose and Alan barely spoke to one other after the event inside the carriage. The carriage came to a halt. A figure moved cautiously to the entrance and yelled, "Your Majesty, it's dinner time!"

Alan and Rose both seized the door as soon as they heard that.

But it wasn't until they recognized they were touching that they knew they were touching. Alan formed a harsh grimace and exclaimed, "Please!" as he opened the door for her.

Rose nodded and stepped out of the carriage. Except for the rope above her head, she was dressed in the same clothes as before. Alan followed her out of the carriage as she exited. The guard stared at them with a puzzled expression as they proceeded forward.

'Wasn't I supposed to be the one to unlock the door?' Or did someone else take my place?'

His heart rate increased to the point where he looked inside the carriage. But, seeing no one inside, he took a deep breath and turned to face Alan and Rose. He didn't know why, but Rose gave off the same vibe as his king.

It was aloof and frigid. But, unbeknownst to him, Rose was trembling on the inside. She couldn't believe she had gotten so near to his hand. But she kept touching her chest, thinking she had responded well.

'All fine, Rose, be even colder! You have to win this. You must entice him to fall in love with you.'

The werewolves began making dinner at the same moment. They set up a ten-meter-long table and ringed it with chairs. Alan attempted to phone Rose as they were preparing the food. However, he did not utter the term.

'Wa——- W—- Wife'

'Yes, wife. Wife, come sit with me! 'Wife, what do you prefer for dinner?'

'Oh, no! I'm afraid I can't say that. The dinner is already prepared. So, should I say let's dine together?'

'All right, Alan, let that beast inside your heart roar! Inform her! Inform her that you wish to sit together.'

"Wife! Let's sit in front of each other." Alan approached her with a cold grimace on his face.

'Huh!' That came out of nowhere for Rose. She became immobile in front of him. She instantly returns to her usual frigid demeanor as she nods her head.

Ten Seconds Later,

'That's not what I meant!' Alan yelled in his head as he glanced at Rose, who was sitting 10 meters away, exactly opposite to him. With wrath, he grasped the fork in his fingers and bent it. The individual standing next to him became terrified when he saw his monarch in wrath.

Soon, a few men approached the monarch, carrying plates piled high with various foods. While Alan and Rose are being served, they place the meal on the table. Rose's plate contained a steak with minimal vegetables.

But when she tried to chop the meat, it was a little difficult. She had the impression that the meat was odd in some way. Nonetheless, she opted to consume it.

"Belg!"

Rose vomited on the good as soon as she put it in her mouth.

Bam! "What kind of sh*t is this?"

Rose smacked her palm against the table and yelled, her entire body churning with wrath. She couldn't blame herself because she had just swallowed the excrement. Yes, that is how she would characterize the dish. The meat had not been cooked.

There was no seasoning on it. There was no aroma coming from the meat. And she couldn't sense any of it as cooking. Not because it wasn't cooked, but because she couldn't find the colors outdoors. As if it had been dyed to look like a cooked food while remaining uncooked.

Rose approached Alan and took his plate. The other wolves had no idea what was going on. The person who cooked the food became pallid all of a sudden. He realized right away that his dinner was awful.

Normally, they didn't mind because, as wolves, they could consume raw flesh. Rose grabbed Alan's plate and tossed it to the ground. She said with one hand on her waist and the other pointing at him.

"You're not supposed to eat this sh*t. I shall cook for you from now on."

'Relax, Rose! You can't blush every time. You must fortify your heart.' She was convincing herself in her heart while saying that.

'Wow!' Alan was taken aback when he saw his wife's domineering expression. Rose then turned around and approached the people who had served her dinner, saying, "Show me the kitchen!"

"Wait a minute, Wife! You are royal. How am I supposed to let you cook? Don't worry, our cook can simply improve her cooking skills." Alan abruptly sprang from his seat and yelled. He flashed his cook a deadly stare as he did so.

The brightness was so intense that Cook nearly collapsed to his knees. Rose, on the other hand, shook her head and stated, "A cook who covers his mistake instead of improving on it is no longer deserving of the being cook. You said you didn't like eating, didn't you?"

"It wasn't because you were obsessed with training. It's because you've never had real food." She abruptly swung around to face Alan, her dominant aura erupting from her body, shrinking his eyes.

She raised her hand and pointed at Alan, saying, "Husband, I will prepare the food that will force you to miss training for it. If I can't, I'll never cook again in my life."

Wind blasted past his face as her words resonated in his ears. Rose turned around to face the man who was serving them dinner. (Man/Wolf- I'll use man when they're in human form and wolf when they're in wolf form)

The man gulped the saliva and looked at Alan. But, seeing his king seated on the chair with his arms folded, he decided to show her the way. After all, he seldom sees that expression on his king's face.
