Queen Hera

Sweet innocent Hera, youngest daughter of Kronos, sister of Zeus, changed completely after her husband's betrayal. Having been teased for her name in many occasions, she resented being associated to the jealous goddess of marriage who's nothing but a failure for a mother and sister in her eyes. Two women, one goddess the other a mortal, one a failure the other had been successful in every aspect from birth to coffin. Queen Hera's heart is full of scorching pain she turn to fiery anger from her husband-slash-brother's constant 'slipping'. Hera Rosenberg had no problems after her marriage that began with business as her husband who came to being madly in love with her scorned bringing a frown to his beloved. What if she was both women? She was Queen Hera once and Hera Rosenberg now she's but Hera on the period her younger brother, her king, cheated on her with Leto and she decreed the Python to chase after the pregnant Titaness. There's so many what ifs, but what matters is that she won't wrong herself any longer, not to be the shadow of her gentle past self but be as loving and tolerant a queen of heavens should be without messing with the past as much as she can.

Queen Hera

Second chapter:

Leto's pov

I'm mother to Apollo, Artemis, twins by I, the Titaness and Zeus, the playful, yet, majestic younger brother of other Olympians but also their king who happened to been married to theirs youngest sister, Hera.

I was worried for months since the queen unleashed her wrath upon me, I can reform if I shed too much blood but the little godlings in my womb can't. When things took to the worse turn, Hera came and secretly told me to give birth in Delos island.

Hard to believe, right? I expected Zeus' queen to kill me by the sheer venom of her glare upon my shadow for ruining her 'perfect' marriage.

Oh, how naïve! My queen, 300 years of fidelity is all you get. That's the upper limit you can expect from the mighty thunder god.

I wanted to shout at you for venting your rage at your husband's seduction for me, but deep down I understood.

It didn't make me less pissed though.

I restrained myself and grinned said I forgive you, the wry smile made me confused, the idea you noticed my lies was gone as soon as it appeared.

I mean, how could you ever? You're so proud and confident, you had always been and will be forgiven by your siblings at every 'little' mistake of poking someone's inner wounds with your sharp tongue.

Peacock is your sacred animal.

A proud beautiful peacock would never doubt itself.
