"Not home?" Mr Cheng asked in fear.

"When did she leave?"he asked again

"This afternoon sir, around 2pm"Nanny Zhou answered.

"Have you tried her phone?" Li Wei asked

"Yes sir, I've also tried the driver's phone but none of them are answering"Nanny Zhou answered.

"Daddy, where is mommy, why is she not home?" Li Xiu asked her tears flowed from her eyes.

"Mommy is coming. Don't cry princess"Li Wei said as he wiped her tears away.

"Take them inside"he said to one of the servants who lead the twins away into their room.

"Sir what do we do should we call the police?" Nanny Zhou asked.

"No,let's wait"he replied and sat down on the sofa.

The next morning, Li Wei paced round the living room,he didn't even close his eyes to sleep. He was thinking about his wife's whereabouts. Mr Cheng didn't even sleep though he was a tired he got to see this side of Li Wei. Li Wei,just like any other husband would be worried about their wife. Mr Cheng had never seen him worry about anything or anyone.

"Hello everyone"Li Xiaomeng greeted along with Li Jing and Yu Yan.

"What's going on. Did something happen?, what's with the worried faces?" Li Jing asked as she sat down on the sofa.

Li Wei didn't answer so Li Jing looked at Mr Cheng for an explanation.

"Well.. Miss, Madam isn't home yet"Mr Cheng answered.

"Not home?,what do you mean not home?"Li Jing asked.

I just said she's not home. What?,should I spell it out for you. Mr Cheng thought to himself.

"Ah.... this girl leaves me speechless. She just goes out without telling anyone where she going." Li Xiaomeng said.

"I'll call mom and dad"Li Jing said as she gave her parents a call.

Shortly after, Old Master and Old Madam Li rushed in.

"What's going on?"Old Master Li asked.

"It seems that Xiu Ying has left the house and refused to return home" Li Jing answered.

"Where are my grandchildren"Old Madam Li asked. She wasn't bothered about Wang Xiu Ying's whereabouts.

"They're in their room Old Madam"Nanny Zhou answered as she came towards them. Yu Yan who had been sitting quietly was waiting for a perfect opportunity. Now that the whole family was present, she finally spoke.

"I.... I just remembered that I saw Xiu Ying yesterday"Yu Yan said calmly.

"Really, where?"Li Xiaomeng asked as if she cared.

"At Golden Berry cafe. She was there with her friend, a man" Yu Yan finally dropped the bomb.

"What? So she left the house to meet her friend who happens to be a manand refused to come home. Wonderful"Old Madam Li said.

"That woman better not do anything audacious because I won't spare her"Old Master Li said in anger. Li Wei remained quiet, he wasn't even paying attention to the rest of his family members.

"What's going on here?" An old woman asked as she came closer to them. She was Old Master Li's younger sister.

"Sister in-law it's that woman Xiu Ying. She's been gone since yesterday. Who knows where she is and what she's up to. I really hope she's not up to something with that her male friend of hers"Old Madam Li said angrily.

"Oh goodness what has she done now?. She had better not do anything that will bring shame to our family" Li Wei's aunt said angrily. Li Wei remained quiet and watched his family as they all complained.

"Mommy's home, mommy home" Li Jie and Li Xiu said as they ran down stairs still wearing their pajamas not noticing the people around them. They ran towards the door and hugged their mother. Wang Xiu Ying made her way towards the living room. She was covered in bruises and her head was covered in blood. Her driver's head was wrapped with a bandage,he was badly injured.

"What happened?"Nanny Zhou asked as she went toward Wang Xiu Ying to help her. She was very tired and too weak to talk. Li Wei who walked towards her and asked in a soft,caring voice that it sounded unreal.

"what happened" he asked worriedly.

"Sir,we were attacked"the driver answered. He explained what happened to the whole family. Yu Yan who was happy a while ago became anxious and started sweating.

"Nanny Zhou please call the doctor"Li Wei said as he helped Wang Xiu Ying and took her to her room and gently placed gently her on the bed.

"Thank you"Wang Xiu Ying said in pain.

"mmm"he answered.

"Mommy are you OK?"Li Xiu asked as she sat on the bed

"Yes I'm fine. I told you before, your mommy is very strong"she said with a little bit of pain.

"When I catch those bad people I'm going to teach them a lesson"Li Jie said. Even if he was still small, he was determined to beat the people that hurt his mother.

"Sir the doctor is here"Nanny Zhou said as a tall thirty something years old man walked in.

"Hello doctor Mo"Li Jie and Li Xiu greeted the doctor.

"Hello"Doctor Mo said smiling as he sat down and examined Wang Xiu Ying.

"She's fine she just need to eat, rest and take her medicine on time. She'll be fine"Doctor Mo assured.

"I'll leave now"Doctor Mo said as he walked out of the room.

"come children, come take your bath and have your breakfast and leave your mother to rest"Nanny Zhou said. The twins didn't want to leave their mother for one second so they were reluctant at first but ended up leaving.

Meanwhile the people downstairs were a bit shocked and angry.

"What rubbish is this?!!. How dare those people come and kidnap the daughter in law of the Li family?!!, have they gone mad?!!"Old Master Li said in anger.

"Even if I don't like that woman for my son,I still won't tolerate what they did to her. She is still our daughter in law"Old Madam Li said.
