8 A Beautiful Family Of Four

After hearing this, Li Wei looked the woman in front of him,he was a bit surprised.

"I'll eat later" Li Wei said as he continued reading the documents. Mr Cheng was disappointed,his master would not listen to anyone,not even his wife. Wang Xiu Ying sat down opposite Li Wei indicating that she was not going to leave until he ate. Li Wei noticed that Wang Xiu Ying was sitting opposite him.

"OK but promise me that you'll rest" Li Wei said as he ate his meal.

"OK"Wang Xiu Ying assured. Mr Cheng who was standing beside his master was in disbelief, his eyes almost popped out,seeing the two interacting like that has never happened. It looked so unreal and felt like a dream. After eating, a servant came and took the dishes away. Then Li Wei continued reading the documents.

"Daddy"Li Xiu ran towards her father followed by her brother who stood beside Wang Xiu Ying.

"Daddy can we have ice cream please?"Li Xiu begged as her little angel eyes lit up.

"Yes can we go please?"Li Jie asked turning to his mother with his eyes like that of his sister's.

"No"Wang Xiu Ying said.

"Why not?"they asked sadly.

"Well your daddy hasn't slept since yesterday, he's very tired right now which is why he's going to put down those documents and go straight to sleep"Wang Xiu Ying said as she fixed her eyes on Li Wei who had no choice but to do what his wife said. Mr Cheng who was silently watching his master was shocked. His master really has some humanity left in him. Mr Cheng watched as his master, the wife and two children left the study room.

It was 8pm already, Li Wei laid on his soft bed and thought about what just happened in the study room,he felt a little warmth in his heart. It was like he had experienced a miracle. The thought of his wife being kidnapped swept across his mind. The aura that surrounded the room was like that of a grave yard, this man was ready to bury the people that kidnapped his wife. After some time he slept off.

The next morning, Li Wei was feeling very relaxed. He got dressed and went directly to the office. The staffs were so surprised that they thought the world was coming to an end. His behavior was different,even when one of his staff made a mistake when presenting a project, he was calm and didn't react at all. There was no murderous intent in his eyes which made the staff feel like he just escaped death.

"Mr Cheng is the boss OK ?"Some staff asked. Even Mr Cheng was oblivious all he could do was guess.

After attending all the board meetings, Li Wei had a meeting with Mr Han. Mr Han has been his business partner for the last three years.

It was already 5pm, Li Wei and Mr Han had a brief meeting.

"Daddy"Li Jie and Li Xiu said as the held Wang Xiu Ying's hands. Li Wei who was coming out of the elevator with Mr Han and Mr Cheng was surprised. The staffs couldn't help but look at Wang Xiu Ying in all her elegance and beauty. The army green pencil long sleeve gown covered her bruises from her neck down to her knee. Luckily, the bruises on her leg and injury on her head had disappeared and returned to its beautiful nature.

"Ah... the boss's wife is so beautiful"

"If I had just her face,my whole life would be complete"

"Look...his wife and children are so beautiful" The staffs couldn't help but whisper amongst themselves.

"Hello uncle"Li Jie and Li Xiu greeted as they walked toward Li Wei,Mr Han and Mr Cheng.

"Hello Mr Han"Wang Xiu Ying also greeted with a smile on her face which seemed to have made all the hearts of the staff melt. After exchanging pleasantries, Mr Han left.

"What are you doing here?" Li Wei asked.

"Ice cream"Li Jie and Li Xiu replied. The twins had been waiting that they constantly asked their mother what the time was. Li Wei suddenly remembered.

"You can go ahead without me,I still have a meeting to attend to"Li Wei said to Wang Xiu Ying.

"We're already here, we can wait for you"Wang Xiu Ying said to Li Wei.

"Cancel the meeting" Li Wei said to Mr Cheng.

"Hold on, there no need to do that. I said we will wait for you"Wang Xiu Ying said.

"Cancel the meeting?,did he just say cancel the meeting?. I must have left my ears at home"

"What do you expect. Its his family after all"

"Family first" Some staff couldn't help but react to what their boss just said.

" Don't worry, the meeting is not too important besides the children are getting impatient" Li Wei said as he looked at his children who were excited that their father had decided to cancel his meeting.

"Not too important.... The deal is worth millions is not important?"

"Ah... I must be lying on the hospital bed. I must be dreaming." The staffs were shocked at this statement.

"Let's go already"Li Xiu said as she held her father's hands. The four of them left the office and went to the famous ice cream shop. As soon as they stepped in, other customers started taking pictures of them.

"Look, CEO Li and his family"

"The CEO has a beautiful wife and Hus children are so cute."The customers whispered as they took pictures of them.
