Chapter two----Where am I?

Kim Jisoo heard faint noises, gradually, she opened her eyes and focused on her surroundings wondering what is going on and what has happened to her.

The way, the females, in the room were dressed made her understand that she was not in her kingdom and something must have happened to her.

Did her useless husband, sell her out? She wasn't sure if it is possible or if it was. Can a king sell his queen out without his council of advisers not being aware?

She is a noble lady, unlike the king's concubine. So, the king can not trade her out. Besides, her father is a general with over a hundred and twenty thousand soldiers under him.

Chan Yeol, wouldn't dare unless he is ready to lose his kingdom. Too many questions ran through her mind. She couldn't shake the fact that her foolish husband can indeed sell her out!

While she was contemplating, the maids in the room noticed she was awake. They were scared to approach her. The doctor told them not to do anything that will frighten her. If they do, she might go into a coma.

"My lady, you are awake," said one of the maids cautiously.

"Yes, I am," Answered Kim Jisoo. She watched them cautiously as they did her. She was afraid of making the wrong move.

At least, I have a glimmer of hope, she thought. Remembering one of the maids called her Lady.

"Where am I? Why are you people dressed like this, showing so much skin? Are you not afraid of a palace Eunuch punishing you all?"

Kim Jisoo thought, she was making sense and trying to help but, unknowingly, to her, the maids felt she has lost her mind.

They kept their thoughts to themselves, after all, they don't want to forfeit their jobs just because they spoke out of turn.

"Lady Eun Ae, this is how we have always been dressed, and this uniform was picked out by you," Said another maid.

"By me? Lady Eun Ae? My name is Kim Jisoo. I am the queen of Armsdam kingdom," Kim Jisoo replied to the maid.

The maids looked at each other, worry creases on their faces. What could be wrong with the Lady of Manor? They wondered.

She was fine just until yesterday when she took excess sleeping pills medication, trying to kill herself. If the young master of the manor has not seen her when he came to her room, she would have died.

Hell would have been unleashed on all of them if she had died. The big boss would have most likely killed them along with her. So, her being alive is them being alive.

"Lady Eun Ae, the doctor you might injure your head when you fell after the excess intake of your sleeping pills" Another maid chipped in trying to explain to her.

"I don't understand, I told you I am not Lady Eun Ae or whatever you called. I am Kim Jisoo and the daughter of the great general Jae Bong," Kim Jisoo said.

She thought by informing them, and revealing who her father is to them will instil fear. But, all she saw on their faces was a look of confusion and weariness.

The six maids in the room didn't what to do and they were scared of informing the big boss about her ladyship's new sickness. They are scared, she might be faking her illness and acting.

Something struck Kim Jisoo and with that realization, deep fear held her spellbound.

"Is there any shiny artefact, I can use in seeing my face?" She asked sounding agitated.

"Ye...s, Your ladyship" The maids chorused bowing their heads looking more scared than ever.

"Then get me one immediately," She commanded.

The door to her room opens. And with it, comes a dashing, sleek man with the most beautiful silver eyes drawn on Kim Jisoo.

"Get you what?" He asked in a cool husky voice.

Kim Jisoo, assumed, she was going to faint again because the silver man is worth swooning over.

"You might want to cover your mouth," he said to her finally breaking eye contact with her to address the maids.

"Leave," he said in a voice filled with authority and power. The six maid scurries out in fear.
