1: [EXTRA] [Wang Wei's Point Of View] [Part 1]

I grew up in a family without love and care. I almost even thought that I was just born to suffer and endure the neglection and abandonment of others. My mother died by giving birth to me and my father won't even spare me a single glance.

"Nanny Li, what time do you think father will return?" I asked in a childish voice. My small hands was holding a spoon and fork. But I did not dare to touch any of this food. I want to eat with my father like any other kids.

"This..." Nanny Li has a trouble expression, she hesitate to replied and glance at the other maids. All of them was having the same reaction. Sad, pity and sympathetic. "How about young master start to eat and then go to bed early? Master Wang will surely be happy with that."

I nodded. My face full of innocent and naivety as I started eating. But underneath those pure countenance, I know to myself that this was only an excuse to dismiss the matter about my father. Because I long knew that...my father don't want me. I was like a disgusting mess that he has done in his whole life. But despite all of that, my young and untainted heart still long for a fatherly love. Just like any other kids.

But in the end, my expectation failed me again.

"I pity young master Wei. Despite the fact that he was living the way other kids wants it to be. He was still missing parental love." The new maid declared.

I hide in the corner. My small body was shaking uncontrollable as words by words invaded my mind.

"Hush. Don't speak. You don't know that the existence of young master Wei was not expected at all. Master Wang Jun don't want any children in the first place."

"No you're lying!" I shouted and glared at them. My father don't want me?! "You are lying! My father was only...busy. I will tell my father about this!" I ran away in my room with tears continuously drip in the corner of my eyes.

"Y-Young master!"

That time, I waited for my father to returned home. I don't believe anything the maid has said. My father don't hate me! He was just busy! And I understand that he needs to get work to make my future better.

Two days...one week...one month. All my expectation was slowly disappearing. I once again look at the window and just saw an endless rain. No. I can't give up. My father will be home for sure! But seeing the hard rain, my heart began to worry. What if father get wet? And he gets sick? Not good.

I hurriedly wore my slippers and ran down on the stairs. I pulled a huge umbrella on the living room and waited patiently on the door.

"Young master, what are you doing here?" The guard asked beside me.

I look at him for a while and pursed my lips, "I was waiting for my father."

The guard went silent. I look away and patiently waited and hoping for the arrival of my father. Maybe this time....he will return home.

"How about the young master go inside, and I will just tell if Master Wang came back?"the guard suggested, he squatted beside me and patted my head.

My eyes innocently blink and bit my lips in displeasure, "No. I will wait here. What if father will get wet by the rain?"

The guard sighed and force a smile at me. I did not bother to look at him anymore and just patiently waited in the door. Unfortunately...just like the other days. He did not return.

"Nanny Li, do you think father don't want me?" I asked the old lady who had been taken care of me. My curiosity was always my flaws. And the words of the maid keep lingering on my mind. No. Maybe they have mistaken. My father care for me!

I lay down on the bed and pulled the quilt until it reaches my nose, only showing my big eyes. Afraid on what answer she could give.

Nanny Li smiled, "Of course not. Our young master is most handsome at all. Who wouldn't want our young master?"

I pouted and pulled the quilt forcibly to hide my red face and a low chuckled emerge. I pulled down again the quilt and was met by Nanny Li's warm expression. She was already old and serve the Wang family for several decades. She was a warm and pleasant person.

I look away and bite my lips, "B-But why does father don't came back? He always stays at work."

Nanny Li stiffened for a while. But her usual pure smiled returned and rub my hair attentively, "Because Master Wang only wants the best for Young master. That's why he always overworked his self."

I nodded and did not ask anymore. Nanny Li turned off the lampshade on the table and left with a comforted smile.

All my worry dissipated when I was met by a cute and small dog. He was wrapped in a gift box and there was a ribbon on his neck. I was taken back for a while as my eyes drifted to his white and soft fur. His tail keeps wiggling, and his bark sounded the usual quiet living room.

"Who's dog is this?" I asked excitedly on Nanny Li, but my eyes never leave the energetic dog.

Nanny Li smiled and chuckled, "This was a gift from the master for the young master."

My eyes lit up, "A gift from my father?!" I immediately patted the small dog and carried him on my arms. There was a name on his collar. 'Strawberry'

I knew it! My father did not abandon me.

Although my father still did not come home, my life in the house was not the same before. With Strawberry never leaving my side, I was back again into my lively mood.

"Strawberry catch!" I throw a piece of wood in the garden and the small dog happily chase it. I giggled and followed Strawberry, "Good boy!" I patted his head and pulled the wood on his mouth.

"Young master, it's time for you to go to school." Nanny Li reminded.

My smiled disappeared and Strawberry whimpered and rubbed his head on my body. I pouted and turned my head to Nanny Li.

"Can I not go to school today?" I demanded.

Nanny Li grinned and patted my head, "No. Did you forget that you want your father to be proud of you? Then go to school and obtain high grades!"

"Yes!" I replied, recalling that promise. The dog beside me sulkily barked, and my lips pursed, "Don't worry. I will go back early!"

After that I went to school with such a lively face. In school, I always paid attention to class and the teacher was very happy about it. I wrote all the things on board on my notebook and attentively digest each lesson the teacher taught. In the test, I always scored highest and my classmate was happy with it. But not all of them.

"Wang Wei definitely cheat in the exam."a boy with a bigger body than me declared.

I clenched my hands and denied, "I didn't!"

The other two boys dragged me inside the cubicle only to be questioned by this. How can they say that I cheat?! I worked hard for this!

"Tss. Young master Wei is a cheater. What will happen if the whole school will know about this?"said Lu Bin.

My eyes widened and I glared at them. I pushed Lu Bin, and he was slammed by the door. Then, my mind went blank.

"Y-You...how dare you pushed me!"

In the end I was beaten half conscious by them. I tried to fight back, but my small body won't let me. My body was full of blue and red marks as I barely control my legs from shaking. The driver immediately called out a doctor and asked about my condition.

The next moment I woke up, I was already in my room. I get up from my bed and felt like my body was not painful anymore. I instantly went downstairs and my eyes widened when I saw a man sitting on the large couch. He was wearing usual office clothes and his hands was holding a piece of cigarettes.

"F-Father?" I called out, thinking it was just an illusion.

He turned his head on me and frowned, "I heard that you had a fight yesterday."his voice was cold and aloof.

I subconsciously gulped. My hands trembled. I pursed my lips and bowed down my head, "Y-Yes..."

"A really useless idiot. You've got beaten badly by those losers."he commanded and slowly lifted my chin, "You don't even look like your damn mother. You're lucky, you look like me. If not, I long dispose your presence here."

My eyes turned red. W-Why is my father speaking like this...? He let go of my face and I instantly fell on the floor. I look at him with horror and without a single glance he did not spare at me.

"F-Father....thank you for your gift last month. I really like Strawberry."

My father frowned at me, "What gift are you talking about?"

"T-The dog you gave me...he's name is strawberry."

"Oh." He sneered, "Who are you for me to give you such a gift?"

My eyes trembled. What does he mean...does that mean he was not the one who give me Strawberry? I ran towards the maid room. Nanny Li won't lie to me! Father was really the one who give me that dog!

"Where's Nanny?" I asked the maid in duty.

The young maid hesitantly look at me and sighed, "Y-Young master...."

"Where is Nanny Li?!"

"Y-Young master..."

"Nanny Li! Nanny Li! I need to find her!"

"Your Nanny Li has been fired earlier." A matured voice spoke behind me.

I turned around and saw father giving me a cold and aloof look. There was no emotion in his eyes, but only disgust. My heart throbs. W-Why is father like this...? Nanny said father loves me.

"Where is Nanny Li, father?" I asked, seems like forgotten what he said earlier.

"I fired her. She brought a dog in my house without my permission and even use my name to purchased it. And the dog?"he smirked, "I already killed it. His body has been disposed far away. I don't like noisy things."

Just as words by words came out from his mouth. My legs gave up and finally fell on the ground. Tears started to brim on my cheeks.

S-Strawberry....and Nanny Li...were gone.

"No you're lying!" I don't want to believe this. I won't believe him.

"Suit yourself. And if you want to run away. Go ahead, the door is always open."he walked away without giving me a single glance.

I started sobbing. My eyes were red from crying, but I didn't stop my tears as my vision became blurry.

"Y-Young master...." A maid approached me, but I pushed her away and ran outside the door.

"Shut up!"

I continued running and surprisingly, the guards did not chase me. My feet were hurt from running, but I did not pay attention to it anymore and just ran to nowhere.

My eyes were still red, and my legs was filled with bruise when I fell down several times. I stopped on the bus station.

"Can you take me to Nanny Li?" I asked an old lady.

She stared at me and seeing my appearance, she frowned, "Go away."she pushed and once again I fell on the ground.

I continuously asked anyone who passes by me and just like the woman, they ignored or pushed me. In the end, I gave up and just sat on the bench, staring in a daze.

They said that I was the reason why my mother died...and that's the reason why father don't want me...but I didn't wish to be born.

Why life so unfair?

I just wanted to experience having parental love...and affection.

Now my dog is gone.

And even my Nanny is gone.

I choked and tried to surpass my tears, but I still failed.

Suddenly, a small hands with a lollipop appeared in front of me. I was startled, and my eyes widened in surprise.

"The dean always said that only a sweet thing can heal a crying boy."a sweet and childish voice sounded.

My heart clenched unconsciously. I turned around and saw a child age certainly younger from me. He was cute and small, his blue eyes was shining in purity. And his cold brow was a sharp contrast in his overall features.

I stared back at his hands. I pursed my lips, "I don't want it."

"You will stop crying if you eat this."

"I said I don't want it! Go away!"

I shouted. He was startled for a while, then his eyes glared at me. "Hmp. You are not grateful. I even won this lollipop in the test earlier. You are bad!"

I was taken back when his eyes turned red. I stand up from the bench and accepted the lollipop on his hands. Instantly, his expression lit up.

"Good. Now, you will feel better if you eat this!"he smiled just like a dazzling rose.

"Su Bein! We are going now!" A middle-aged woman called him from behind.

He hesitantly looked back at me and pouted, "I hope I won't see you crying anymore. I have to go."he ran away towards the other children.

My cheeks heated and shouted, "What's your name?"

He turned back and gave me his warmest smile, "Su Bein."

I forgot to post this yesterday.
