Drug Test

Not long after He An's post, Meng FeiFei's management team was in a panic. They hadn't expected for the CEO himself to stand up for Song Jiahao, so they were in quite a mess. Everyone on the team was aware of He An's identity—opposing him would ruin their entire careers.

Although Meng FeiFei's manager tried to persuade her to send out a post clarifying that this was all a misunderstanding, Meng FeiFei was stubborn and refused.

She clenched her teeth as she sat holding her phone, scrolling through the posts tagging her, before finally deciding to go against her company's wishes and defend herself.

Although her words weren't directly attacking Song Jiahao, most people could see she was intentionally making trouble for him. As expected, many of her white knights immediately began scolding Song Jiahao, calling him an embarrassment to men.

Some even went as far as to curse CEO He, though they were quickly silenced by his fans.

Song Jiahao sneered as he read Meng FeiFei's post. What innocence? You're clearly a green tea bitch!

He commented, 'Of course, hope your face doesn't hurt too much when the truth comes out~'

Many of Meng FeiFei's fans grew angry at his shamelessness and replied under his comment with curses. Song Jiahao smirked and ignored it all, throwing his phone aside and deciding to go to sleep instead.

On the other side, He An was sitting on the couch inside his villa, blankly staring at Song Jiahao's comment. He sighed deeply.

"This guy only knows how to seek problems." He rubbed his temples as he complained to Six.

With Song Jiahao's personality, it was going to be difficult to manage him. He was too impulsive and didn't think to wonder about the consequences for his reckless behavior.

Six: [Well, host still has to clean up his mess~ =w=]

"Aside from the drug test, what other method is there to confirm Song Jiahao's innocence?" He An questioned the system. He was serious when he told it earlier to think of something.

Six: [It was written that Meng FeiFei is a scheming character who got help from the men she slept with! I can hack into her phone and gather the evidence! >v<]

"You can hack?" He An was puzzled.

Six: [...I'm an intelligent system!!! QAQ]

"Ah, right. I'll give you an hour to gather everything." He An shrugged and ignored it's pouting.

Six suddenly went quiet before speaking again, [Host... are you the devil...? An hour isn't long enough!!! QwQ]

He An smiled warmly as he said, "Two hours then."

On the day of the appointment for the drug test, He An had asked for Song Jiahao's manager to let him know he would pick him up from his residence.

"Hi~ CEO He~ You're still as handsome as before!" The moment Song Jiahao saw him, he couldn't help but to tease the stiff person sitting in the car.

He An uncomfortably returned his greeting but didn't respond to his flirting.

Song Jiahao didn't seem to mind as he buckled his seatbelt. While doing so, he noticed a strange object on He An's left finger and whistled, "You really are wearing a ring! How come I didn't hear anything about you being married though? Is it a secret engagement?"

"I don't believe my marital status has anything to do with you?" He An replied dryly. It was true the original owner wasn't married, so saying something unnecessary could cause his identity to be exposed.

"Tsk! Your reactions aren't entertaining at all!" Song Jiahao wouldn't admit to being interested in a married man, so he could only give up his short lived thoughts and look out the window for the duration of the car ride.

When they arrived, He An led Song Jiahao to a private room where a female doctor was waiting for them. She greeted the two with a smile and introduced herself as Doctor Ming. She then asked Song Jiahao a few questions before setting out two options for him: a urine test or a blood test.

He An smiled as embarrassment flashed in Song Jiahao's eyes and he quickly chose the latter option.

Six: [Woo!!! The little rascal is capable of feeling embarrassed!!! (　ﾟдﾟ)]

He An watched while Doctor Ming inserted a small needle into the flinching Song Jiahao, drawing blood, and then putting the blood into a small vial.

"Mr. He, I'll call you back once the results are out." Doctor Ming informed while arranging the tools. He An nodded and thanked her before leading Song Jiahao out.

Afterwards he drove to Song Jiahao's apartment complex and saw him off. The two hadn't exchanged any words since the trip to the hospital.

He An thought to say something, so he commented, "You did well."

Song Jiahao was speechless. Why was he being treated like a kid???

"CEO He, don't treat me like some child. Although I might be young, I'm still an adult!" He decided to explain in order to clear up the misunderstanding.

He An was confused. Compared to him, who has lived out an entire lifetime, wasn't Song Jiahao still a kid? Nevertheless, he hummed in agreement.

"Anyways, shouldn't you be heading home? I'm sure your wife is waiting for you." Song Jiahao said. He was still skeptical that He An was married, but he wanted to quickly go inside and rest.

Truth be told, he's very afraid of needles, and he had to use every bit of courage in him to not cry in front of He An during the drug test.

"I won't be able to see my wife in this lifetime." He An's voice was low.

Song Jiahao: ???

Once He An left, he returned to his room and whipped out his phone to message a friend of his.

Song Jiahao: Little Wu, do you know if CEO He is married?

Gossip King Wu: No, why are you asking bro?

Song Jiahao: Nothing. You sure he doesn't have a secret spouse??

Gossip King Wu: ...Actually, I heard this from a friend who is close to the He family, but apparently he had a white moonlight when he was young! Maybe you're talking about her.

Song Jiahao's interest was perked when recalling what He An had just told him. He quickly typed: What happened to her?

Gossip King Wu: Dunno~ Some say she died, others say she ran away cuz she had another lover. Nobody's heard from her in years.
