83 4.23 SANGUINE LOVE: Return

As the days pass, chaos festers.

And it's not in the demonic realm where it does. In fact, the demons have grown uncharacteristically quiet. And those skirmishes still occur here and there but large-scale raids or organized attacks have all but stopped. 

Even the Rifts have slowly, but surely begun to disappear. 

That doesn't stop humans from trying to push into demon territory from time to time, the Holy Kingdoms trying as they could to cleanse the world of darkness.

But these efforts have largely been unsuccessful as well. Of the alliance, there is one country that has since grown quiet after realizing the shift. 

The political landscape within Xilestia stirs. Everything shifted after the old king had passed and the new king took to the throne.

His coming had been celebrated at first. King Lesdon had been a welcomed new face of Xilestian monarchs. He was fresh, bright-eyed, and a sweet-mannered young man.
