73 4.13 SANGUINE LOVE: Fog

At first, Cassander was going to take Mo Yinan to scout the vicinity and find a stealthy way of approaching the lonesome mansion that sits atop the foggy hillside. 

However, this plan ends up getting thwarted.

As they approach the shaded edifice, the dancing wisps glide ominously across the air, as though aware and reactive, which are traits rather odd for these simple ghosts.

And yet, they move in tandem, slowly but surely forming a path lined with hovering blue lights, leading Cassander and Mo Yinan straight toward the mansion's front entrance.

Cassander takes a peek at his soulmate, who strolls by his side, calm and unconcerned. Despite everything that has happened thus far, his mysterious soulmate is pointedly unflappable, reacting only to Cassander and not to the dangers that surround them.
