getting Adopted again, sam ross

"i knew you were blessed"

Sam heard his mother voice as she hugged him. He couldn't help but feel happy and blessed to feel his mothers love. Unfortunately, for sam it didn't last long as just after two days, he felt the Qi from the surroundings is almost sucked dry.

During those few days, even though he was just a baby. his mother kept saying that someone will come save them and they just have to hold on. Even though sam didn't understand the language. He somehow understood what she was feeling. As he felt he couldn't take or increase his Qi anymore.

sam started to think of a solution to survive as it was already miracle they have survived almost 8 days without any food with just Qi. After another day passed jessie noticed her son seemed to gotten pale and sleepy.

It was then she felt that what the warm energy that her son was providing her. Somehow was able to reject the energy from her . when sam felt his mother rejecting his energy for the second time. He felt worried. He didn't want to loose his mother in this life too.

But cause of his cruel faith. He was limited by his little body and Qi. Another two days passed when he too started feeling hungry and weak. And after one more day something happened that surprised him. He felt Qi passing from his mother to him.

He rejected it. But after half an hour he saw something which made him want to scream to make his mother to stop. But all that came out of his mouth was cries of baby as he watched his mother loosing all muscle and getting thinner and thinner.

Before he could do anything his mother hugged him and whispered to him

"please live son, for your father and me."

And before sam could think of something he felt his consciousness slipping as he went into some kind of deep sleep.

Sam suddenly woke up when he felt someone lifting him up. When he opened his eyes he saw a handsome man holding him in his arms. But as he started to remembered what happened before he fell asleep he started to cry. He felt sad and helplessness.

He didn't want to live anymore. But as his remembered his mothers last words, he understood she wanted him to live. he felt it was not fair . he could help stop crying due him being a baby didn't help him any better as his heart felt heavy and uncomfortable.

It took him almost a 6 hours for him him to stop crying. He felt his throat dry and eyes burning but just then he felt a warm flow of energy which removed all his physical pain. Sam saw a women in armor placing her hand above him.

As he saw greenish energy with his golden Qi eyes. This energy doesn't seem like Qi but it some how helped his Qi to increase little. As finally saw what happening around him. he Saw there were more than 100 men and a man with red metal armor sitting on a log. It was night time.

With few fire camps all around. As time passed sam saw soldiers killing beast he saw the magic and inhuman strength. Saw also saw how beast seem to have pure red Qi compared to humans who have golden reddish Qi.

Sam noticed a green and white Qi inside the women who healed him. The only one he couldn't see through was the man in red armor. Who was the first one sam saw when he woke up. He seem to be covered in white Qi which was stopping sam to see through him.

Days passed as they finally left the forest and passed by a town. And arrived inside a city. Finally to a huge castle. Sam saw that technology didn't seem to be a thing but magic seemed to be everywhere.

As they reached the castle, the man in red armor took him form the magic women's hand and headed inside the castle. Inside a room. The man carried him towards a beautiful women and said something. Sam felt and saw huge blue energy around her heart inside that women.

Sam already knew that this energy seems to help people in this world to use magic. It didn't take long before sam noticed that there was a baby on the bed. And as noticed that like him there was no colored energy inside the baby.

The man left the room still carrying him and sat on a seat near the dinning table before handing him to a maid. After which he was feed with some milk from some kind of pouch.

After drinking milk sam noticed that his felt some change in his Qi. It seemed nothing changed but something changed for sure. As he was lost in his thought. After few minutes sam saw the beautiful women and the magic women both coming towards the man. While holding a baby.

Sam felt happy seeing the magic women who took care of him till now.

The duke aden saw diana seemed to done speaking with freya. As they headed toward the dinning table. Duke noticed that he still had his armor on. So as they got closer. Aden got up and said.

"i will come back of getting changed."

Diana nodded and took a seat at the table and gestured freya to do the same. After which she looked at the maid who was holding sam. And spoke up. While giving julian(her son.) to freya to hold him.

"give me the baby ren."

The maid directly handed sam to diana.

"yes. My lady"

As soon as diana took sam into her arms. She noticed his golden eyes which seem to contain trace of intelligence. She noticed how the baby also looking at her curiously.

"you got beautiful eyes"

Diana couldn't help but smile. She heard how the baby didn't cry from the first day till they found him. She felt that her own son didn't seem to as gifted as this child.

She touched his nose to get some kind of reaction from him. And she was not disappointed as he hold her finger with small little hands.

As Aden came back and noticed diana playing with the new baby and a smile formed in his lips. He felt how lucky he was as he got such a kind wife. if he didn't know he would have never associate diana with the royal family.

As aden took his seat. Diana wanted to say some thing but aden spoke first.

"i am sorry, diana. For leaving our new born son and you for such long time period."

Diana words were struck in her throat when she heard his words. It took some time for her to respond as she said with a happy smile on her face.

"i understand."

It was all she said but it as aden heard it. He felt his heart felt little lighter. And as he saw her smile. He could fell his heart skipped a beat. They looked at each other while freya felt uncomfortable and didn't know if should do some thing about this silence.

It was until diana turned her head while little blush on her cheeks. That aden remembered about sam and spoke again

"i want to adopt the baby in your arms diana. His lost his parents all his tribe cause I couldn't keep my word. It was a miracle that he survived the beast tide. i don't w…"

This was the first time diana saw aden look at her this way. She couldn't help but blush. As he started to explain her why he wanted to adopt this child. Diana felt happy that he wanted including her before actually adopting. And it was more than she ever want.

Diana didn't let aden finished.

"okay."

Aden stopped speaking as he heard her voice. He couldn't help but ask

"you agree?"

Diana nodded and spoke again.

"what you want to call him?"

aden smiled as he already thought of a name while he was on there way back home.

"the forest people used to pray to sun. I want to name him sam which means sun and light."

"sam"

Diana repeated the name before she looked at freya and asked her opinion.

"what do you think freya?"

Freya didn't expect her lady would ask for her opinion. Looking at duke and duchess looking at her. She felt nervousness for a second but as a mage she recovered quickly before say.

"i think it's a perfect name. My lady. He even got golden eyes which seem similar to the sun"

aden couldn't help but be satisfied with the name he came up before saying out loud with majestic voice

"he would be called sam ross from now on."
