The Moonlit Bistro [2]

"Waaa..." Wow, this isn't just a normal birthday party; it's more like a debut party!!

Anyway, as we made our way through the room, we were quickly swarmed by dozens of guests, all eager to introduce themselves.

However, it became apparent that Aria was the center of their attention, and only a handful of guests directly greeted Kael and me.

"What a fantastic dress you have, Madam Aria!" some of the guests, mostly ladies, couldn't help but feel amazed by her dress.

"Kyaaaa! Madam Aria, please look at us." And some who couldn't hold their admiration towards Aria.

As we moved deeper into the ballroom, the throngs of guests seemed to multiply and began surrounding Aria like thirsty flies.

Suddenly, a man with purple hair and wearing a charcoal black and sky-blue blazer introduced himself with a bow.

"You're so beautiful," said Madam Aria. "By the way, my name is..." However, before he could have a chance to say his name, he was rudely interrupted by another man.

The purple-haired man looked at him and angrily yelled, "Who do you think you are?!" before pushing him to the ground.

Aria saw what had happened and averted her gaze as if she didn't see it.

Before we continued to walk even further into the center of the ballroom, where we were swarmed once again.

-"It! Madam Aria!"

-"Get away. I want to see her!"

-"Don't push us out!"

Furthermore, the more we walk, the more guests are coming.

Being swarmed, I noticed an irritating aura coming from Kael, who was standing next to Aria, merely gazing at the guests like pests.

However, it wasn't working as he intended, as the guests seemingly didn't notice Kael's presence, 

As they were all still busy bothering Aria and me with their countless greeting. 

"?!!"

Kael seen this all; thus, he had no choice but to show what a real hostile is like.

He then intimidated an aura that seemed to say, "Move away, please know your limits," as he frantically gazed at the guests.

Fortunately, some of the quests see this and immediately leave us alone.

"Bro, I think we need to go," said the blue-haired guy as he tapped the brown-haired guy in front of him.

The brown-haired guy responded confusedly, "Hmm... why?"

Then the blue-haired guy pointed his finger in Kael's direction and said, "Because of him."

The brown-haired guy followed the blue-haired guy's finger and looked up to see Kael staring at them coldly.

"Ahhh... shit, I forgot."

And so, they started to leave one by one, perhaps because of Kael or they were just scared of being killed.

After it was all over, Aria then looked at Kael with a big grin on her face.

"Wow, Kael, I didn't know that would work," Aria frantically mumbles to Kael,

Who was still staring at the guests, attempting to get closer.

"Waa..." Me too; I didn't expect you to have that kind of ability to push away people with just a gaze.

Kael then replied to Aria, "Me neither. I guess my nickname as a relentless demon somehow convinced them to hold their horses down." Feeling proud. 

"..."

Aria then stared at Kael for a moment before he spoke. "Anyway, it seems that Cutie got tired because of those greetings.

So, want to take a break before we officially start the party?"

"Waaa" Huh? No, I'm not. I am perfectly fine.

Kael then took a glimpse at me and replied. "Yeah, sure."

"Waa!" I'm fine, just like I said!

"Waa..." Wait, what's up with that guy running like a bull?

Just then, I noticed an arrogant-looking guy aggressively walking straight toward us.

He was wearing a long coat and had a smug expression on his face.

He also had yellow hair with a hint of color tainting it.

"It's good to see that you're still alive, Aria. My name is Grim," Grim disrespectfully introduced himself before bowing and looking over us hostilely.

"Uh... thank you for saying that, Mr. Grim," Aria awkwardly replied, clearly bothered by Grim's words.

-Clusshhh...

Kael saw this and couldn't help but clench his fist.

"Waa" Woaaah! Kael, chill.

Luckily, Aria noticed it first and secretly held Kael's hand.

Aria then mumbled to Kael, "Kael, calm down. Nothing good will happen if you just punch that guy in the face."

Kael then mumbled to Aria, "So, you're saying I should just let it go?" Kael asked angrily.

Aria looked at Kael and replied, "It seems you still don't know me well.

All I'm saying is nothing good will happen if you punch that guy in the face.

But what I really meant is punch him when nobody is around or let some of the other guests take care of him," with a smug expression.

"Waaa..." That's a bit too much... but to be honest, what you said is true, Mommy Aria.

Now that I think about it hearing Aria say something like that made me realize that she is not only kind and sweet but also ruthless.

Anyhow, Kael heard it and tried to calm himself down by releasing some pressure in his fist. "Okay, fine. You win."

After that, the arrogant-looking guy continued to disrespectfully talk to us.

"Got scared of your sh*t, Kael?" Grim mocked with a tone full of confidence as he smiled.

As the arrogant-looking guy continued to talk disrespectfully to us, more and more guests couldn't help but feel both disgusted and angry at him.

"So, by the way, if you're curious why I'm doing this is because yo-" But just as he was about to start saying something, he was tapped on the shoulder by someone behind him.

Grim responded with an annoyed tone, "What do you want?!"

Hearing this, the guy who tapped him angrily replied, "Move your ass here and get out here."

"Why would I do that?! Do you even know who I am?" Grim angrily retorted to the guy.

The other man behind Grim belligerently replied, "Who cares? When did we ask you?"

Upon hearing this, Grim couldn't contain his anger anymore and raised his left hand, revealing a small knife hidden underneath his sleeves.

-Slingg!

And attempted to stab the tapped guy. "Arghh, you blackhead, I'm gonna kill you!"

-Fussh!

However, before Grim could stab the tapped guy, out of nowhere,

-Usssh!

-Pushhh!

A huge fist appeared and hit him directly in the face.

"Arkkk!"

Despite being hit directly in the face, Grim did not fall down nor flinch as he looked at Kael with bloodlust in his eyes.

"Ptui! As I thought, the punch coming from the so-called reckless demon would be at least painful, but I guess not."

Grim mocked as he spat and wiped the blood from his mouth.

Kael replied while fixing his sleeves, giving a menacing gaze at Grim before him. "Don't be delusional.

I'll just adjust my punch so that I don't accidentally kill you."

"..."

"..."

"..?"

After that incident, the whole atmosphere of the ballroom grew quiet as everyone focused their attention on Kael, who remained calm and composed, and Grim, who was holding a knife.

"Waaa" Wow. That was so cool! This is freaking awesome! Go Kael, Go Grim!

As I cheerfully looked at them, the atmosphere between them became more tense.

Aria mumbled as she gazed at Kael, "Kael, you idiot, why didn't you just finish that guy off? Look at what happened; the party was already ruined."

"Waa..." I didn't expect you to say something like that, especially when Kael was fighting a man holding a knife.

Anyway, after that, I turned my attention to them as they continued to stare at each other.

It continues for a while, which kind of bothers me.

"Waaa..." I guessed they were just waiting for someone to make the first move and counterattack.

But it was so fucking boring!

Amid the intense standoff between them, Grim spoke to Kael, "Fine, I will leave now," as he dropped the small knife he was holding.

-Clinggg!....

"Waaa.." W-wait, what the heck is that?! No more intense fighting?!

As Grim was about to walk away.

Grim spoke to Kael once again. "But before that, I need to give you something as a present," he said with a hint of malice in his voice.

Kael responded in a cold tone. "What are you talking about? Just get out--"

But before Kael could finish his sentence, Grim suddenly attacked as he lifted his foot and aimed a vicious kick straight at Kael's ribs.

Fortunately, Kael reacted quickly, though not quickly enough to dodge the kick. Instead, he braced his arm to absorb the impact and lessen the damage.

-Ssuhh!!

Just as the kick was about to hit, Grim's foot suddenly rotated, slicing upwards toward Kael's head with alarming speed.

-Pusssh!!

Due to the unexpectedly swift kick, Kael barely had time to react before he felt the full force of the kick connect with his palm, sending a sharp pain through his hand.

Grim grinned triumphantly. "Hit ya!"

Kael glared at Grim, "What are you talking about?"

As Grim looked down at Kael's hand, he realized his mistake. The kick had not hit Kael's head as he had predicted but instead had only struck his palm.

But before Grim could react, Kael seized Grim's feet, pulling him off balance and breaking his knees with a sickening.

-Crush...

Grim let out a howl of pain, writhing on the ground as Kael continued to crush his knees.

-Crusshhh!!!

-Crusssshh!

"Aghhh!! It hurts!" Grim screamed painfully.

Hearing that, Kael coldly talked to Grim,

"Give up, and I will release you."

Grim responded in pain. "I-I will give up! Just release me already!

Upon hearing this, Kael slowly released his grip.

However, just before Kael could completely remove his grip.

Grim spun his body, his movements fluid and swift as he positioned himself to deliver a decisive blow aimed directly at Kael's face.

With a fierce glint in his eyes, Grim shouted, "Dieee! For the honor of the Revenire family," He yelled with desperate determination.

"?!!"

Upon hearing Grim's words, Kael suddenly lost his thoughts, as if he remembered something.

-Fusssh

Leaving him with no time to react as Grim aimed a powerful kick towards his face. 

Just as Kael was about to be hit.

-Fusssh!!

When suddenly, a metallic scarlet blade instantly pierced through Grim's body.

-Slussh!

"Wow, that's too close. It almost ruined your coat, Kael," Aria calmly said before slowly removing the scarlet sword from Grim's body.

As Aria was about to remove her sword completely, Grim spoke with a faint tone. "Damn it... you Soulshearth," he said as he coughed up some blood all over his body.

Seeing that Grim was somewhat alive, Aria crouched and left her sword stuck in Grim's body.

"Oh, you're still alive. As expected of the Revenire family, they can't die like a cockroach. Anyway, any last words?" Aria asked with a playful tone in her voice.

Grim then replied, "Fuck you," as he exhaustively raised his arm, showing his middle finger.

Seeing this, Aria got seemingly pissed off and pulled her sword, attempting to amputate both Grim's hands and his head. "Youuu!"

However, before Aria could amputate Grim's left hand, Kael yelled at her, "Aria, wait!"

Aria stopped for a moment, looked at Kael, and asked, "What is it?"

Kael, worriedly, replied, "Where is our son?"

Hearing this, Aria smiled and replied, "Don't worry, I left our cutie with Aurilya. If that's all, then I will continue now."

"Wait!!" Kael stopped her again.

"What is it now?! Kael!! Just say it. I have to finish this now, or else the side effects will take effect," Aria retorted.

Hearing this, Kael smiled and replied, "Don't let a single drop of blood spill on your gown."

"Sure," Aria bluntly replied before continuing to cut Grim's body.

-Shoop!!

After this, Aria cut Grim's head like butter before kicking it away.

"Waaa!!! What the heck is happening?! Why did you just leave without me,

"Waaa!!" Aria?! And what's up with that cool-looking sword made out of blood?!"

"Young Master, please calm down," Aurilya begged; she helplessly tried to calm me down.

"Waaa!!!" Noo!!
