The demons gathered around the arena as Azrael and Samael climbed into the fighting ring.

They didn't have to walk per se as both of them could use their wings to fly.

Shadows swarmed around Azrael while Samael's fire encircled his body. It was like watching light and darkness, despite both of these demons being amongst some of the most powerful creatures of Hell.

They circled each other as the referee raised his arms. He was one of the lower demons but with great powers.

A huge roar filled the room as the referee vanished into a poof of black smoke. He was also responsible for commentating on the match so it was no surprise when he appeared outside the ring.

The speakers have been attached to every corner of the room. So his voice resonated through the speakers as he started in a booming voice, 'Welcome, to the ultimate battle of death- where only one competitor will come out as the champion.'

'Our first competitor is the one and only, the powerful, SAMAEL!' Cheers and hoots echo throughout the room as Samael's power went up in a whoosh.

My hair flew from the heat. It didn't hurt because I was fire-proof. In fact, I welcomed the heat.

'Challenged by none other than, the mighty AZRAEL!' There was a mix of cheers and booing noises from the crowd.

Azrael, too, let his shadows blind the room completely within the darkness in a display of his powers.

The commentator chuckled, saying, 'Just try not to kill each other.'

With that, Azrael and Samael rushed for each other. They collided head-on in a burst of power. But Samael grabbed Azrael's legs and flipped him over his head.

The latter had managed to grab a hold of his many blades and was slashing through the air wildly.

It was only when the two resurfaced and faced each other again, that I was able to see the extent of their injuries. It wasn't a lot as of yet considering they had just started.

They went for each other again. This time, their powers were in full force.

Samael's fire encircled Azrael, while the latter's shadows attacked Samael.

Despite both of them being under attack, they kept up the force of their powers, unwilling to give in first.

The amount of power they exerted was so much that I felt the force of it despite sitting five rows away from the middle.

Every other demon- including myself, leaned forward in anticipation. Everyone was on edge, eager to know who will emerge as the victor.

Most bets had been on Samael, considering he was the demon master and his powers were majestic. But there were a lot of people rooting for Azrael as well, much to my surprise.

There was a flash of white light and thudding sounds that echoed throughout the room. It took a few seconds for everyone's vision to clear up.

But as soon as it did, I saw Azrael and Samael circling each other once again.

Azrael's cloak was almost entirely burned to ashes while Samael simply looked even angrier.

This was going to be a long fight, especially because both of them were immortal.

But the crowd was getting eager, demons were known for being impatient.

Loud fights broke out in the crowd as people argued over who was going to win the match. But Azrael and Samael were too busy trying to finish off the other.

This was a fight overdue.
