Ruma could see that she couldn't win in a physical fight without her transformation, and she didn't have enough time to transform into berserk mode as Marich was only a few steps away from her, and he would reach her the next second.

She decided to cover herself in Prana to give her some protection against Marich's attack. He appeared in front of her and punched, aiming at her head before she could cover even half of her body with Prana. Fortunately for her, she started covering herself with Prana from top to bottom.
