The portal opened, Dev stepped inside. For him, the feeling while being transferred was very uncomfortable. He felt as if somebody was shaking him back and forth in there. In a matter of seconds, the transfer was complete. Lily looked disgruntled after entering the city. He tried to pet her, but she slapped his hands away. He smiled wryly and didn't disturb her again.

He was taken aback by the landscape as he entered the city. From what he could see, the city looked like it was made entirely of metal. There was a heavy metal scent permeating the city. He didn't find the skyscrapers he expected. From where he was standing, the tallest building in the city looked to be around 100 meters.

Despite how the city looked, Dev thought that it may be even more developed than Earth's cities. The city of Kajiya was enormous. It wasn't a natural city based upon the land. Compared to Nehan, it was of a different dimension. Approximately 100,000 years ago, a dwarf made the artifact called Kajiya. That artifact is now the city Dev is looking at.

It was not even necessary for Dev to walk since the roads in Kajiya were automated. To go in the desired direction, all you need to do is stand on the road, the road will take you there.

To find out more about Kajiya, Dev began exploring the city. It fascinated him more and more the longer he looked.

Dwarfs, who have been celebrated in fiction literature on Earth, finally appeared to him as he explored the city. Their stature wasn't short; he saw a dwarf taller than 1.5 m. However, there was one characteristic that all dwarves shared: they were all bulky.

To stay for a while, he had to find a place. His stay here was indefinite, as he came here for a purpose, not for a vacation. When he was looking for Inns, he came across a weapon shop. He couldn't resist checking the weapons. He entered the shop to examine the weapons and find out their prices.

The shop was full of many weapons, which made his eyes shine. A variety of weapons were displayed in the store per the tastes of the customers. Some looked simple, while others were shiny. Neither a receptionist nor a manager could be found in the shop. Despite his reluctance, he didn't touch anything in the store. As he was looking around, a notice caught his eye. It said, "This shop is self-service; you can't touch anything you don't want to buy. You just pick the weapon you want to buy and pay."

Astonished by the notice, he scoffed, "You wouldn't let anyone touch your weapons, that's why your store is always crowded." Kajiya's weapon shops all had similar rules, but he didn't know that.

Even though he did not like the notice, he did not leave the store. He began looking for the prices of the weapons.

At the shop, he saw the cheapest weapon costing two gold coins. After seeing how expensive the cheapest weapon was, his jaw dropped. Having 1 gold coin was equivalent to having 100 silver coins, which in turn were equivalent to having 10,000 copper coins, which were equivalent to having 1,000,000 iron coins. Serena received 1 gold coin as salary, which was regarded as acceptable among her peers.

Wryly, he smiled at himself, he couldn't even buy the cheapest weapon. This time, he didn't look around but instead began searching for expensive weapons. While looking for the most expensive weapons, he suddenly saw a Broadsword that was made of silver, it had a golden made handle, it cost 100 gold coins. When he saw the price of the sword, he took a deep breath. An explanation of the sword was given below. After reading the description of the sword, he nodded. His understanding of why the sword cost so much was clear. Khandi, a famous Dwarf from around the world, built the sword. Known for his expertise with blacksmithing, he's a master of the craft. As far as the sword was concerned, it had no special characteristics. This was made just for fun. The price in this world is also determined by the creator's name.

In addition, Dev saw a spear with a grey spearhead that had some red prints on it. A pure black shaft extended from the spearhead. Metals were mixed to make it. He felt a chill down his spine when he saw the spear. He stepped away from the spear by two feet. The spear was designed solely to kill, as mentioned in the description. This spear seemed ominous. As well as that, it cost one hundred gold. The spear did not seem expensive to him because he was feeling a lot of pressure from looking at it.

After wandering around for quite a while, he came across a bow. Kadamba wood was used in the bows, and a combination of silver and copper strings was used on the bows. This bow was named Kadona and cost 251 gold. The most expensive weapon in the shop was this one. Having looked at almost every weapon in the store and not being able to afford anything, he decided to leave.

An Inn named Chandramaas appeared to be the best deal when he started searching for inns. The price of the room was 1 silver coin per week. Having only 10 silver coins on hand, he didn't dare spend the whole amount at once.

Then, he woke up Lily who was already sleeping on his head, took her to the bathroom to bathe her up. Being tired, he was able to fall asleep easily after Freshening.

From the next day onward, he started searching for money-earning options around the city.

It has been two weeks since he arrived in Kajiya, his luck wasn't any good, he didn't find any opportunity in the upcoming days. His budget was getting lesser by the day. Only one good thing has happened during his stay in Kajiya.

The Dwarf was stunned, he didn't expect a weird-looking person to come to him and ask something which is known to everybody.

Due to the past lessons, he didn't dare to belittle the weird-looking man, he smiled and responded, "Oh, so you don't know what a healer is?" Dev nodded in response.

"Don't worry, I'll tell you."

"A Healer is someone who has reached Level 3, but his Prana is Non-Elemental. When Prana is without any element, it heals injury." He answered Dev's question.

Dev smiled after getting the answer, he said thanks to the man and left.

The answer made Dev jubilant. Isn't his Prana also Non-Elemental?

He finally got an opportunity to make money, the only issue was that he wasn't a Level 3. If someone finds out that he can treat injuries despite not being even a Level 1, He would be in Grave danger.

He decided to try to find some other opportunities in a week, if he couldn't find any other way to earn money, he'll take the risk and will start being a healer.
