Intro to Reverend Insanity (3)

Not long after I left school, and seeing now, I finally finished reading "Reverend Insanity", a novel of more than seven million words. As for my personal feelings about "Reverend Insanity", I can hardly find any words to describe my love for it, and I find it difficult to accept many of the protagonist's behaviors, but I can say that by my personal standards, this is the only "demonic work" among all the novels I have read so far, and it gives me a different feeling from any novel I have read before.

Before reading "Reverend Insanity", I had never had a novel that could give me such an uplifting feeling, so I wrote a post-reading article specifically for it. However, there are too many areas that can cause readers to think, so I will choose some fragments that I personally think are representative.

When it comes to the philosophical aspects of Master Gu, one has to talk about the "Human Ancestor Ren Zu Biography" interspersed in it. Facing many problems, he has unique insights, which are of great guiding significance to life. With strength and wisdom, Ren zu has overcome countless difficulties and his life is guaranteed. Every day, he lives by eating the flesh and blood of difficult predicaments, eating more and more...

However, after a short while, the human ancestor who gave his youth and middle age quickly moved towards old age, and the Strength Gu and Wisdom Gu felt that they could no longer benefit from the human ancestor, and they all left him. Older people lose the strength and wisdom they had when they were young, their muscles cramps, and their brains no longer work fast.

Therefore, facing the group of predicament, the elderly ancestors can only rely on the last Gu. Compared with Strength Gu, this Gu is the weakest body, just a small spot of light. Compared with the Wisdom Gu, this Gu was dimmer, it could only emit a faint white light, and it was not gorgeous at all. This Gu is called "Hope Gu", and it doesn't want life, but heart of the human ancestor. Ren zu gave his heart to hope, and the current predicaments were afraid of hope, and they fled one after another. If there is an indelible hope in your heart, the predicament cannot completely swallow you up, because hope has always existed in a piece of your heart. No matter what, if you lose your strength and wisdom, don't give up hope. Faced with a difficult situation, if a person has no hope, then he really has nothing!

Vanity is imaginary and life is the foundation:

In the world, many people take face and reputation too much, and even in the eyes of even a few people, vanity is more valuable than life. But I don't know that the so-called honor is only determined by human beings. It does not exist in the material world, so it is said to be nothingness. In this peaceful era where we are living now, in countries where there is no war, honor, money, and rights is generally the most important thing, more than even life. Do these things make sense in themselves? Their meanings are given to them by people, whether life brings death or not, why take these external objects so important? Of course, I don't mean to give up completely. What I want to say is that to pursue vanity too much, it is better to keep the life first; instead of treating these emptiness outside the body as a goal and giving up your life to pursue them, it is better to treat them as a means of sustaining life and developing life.

Success or failure is the same:

If people want to succeed, they need to experience corresponding failures. A "Success Gu" is a pile of hundreds of millions of "Practice Gu", but at the top of the practice, there is also a "Failure Gu". Success Gu and Failure Gu look the same, so before actually touching it, people can't distinguish the results of previous practice. It may succeed or fail.

People often become unrecognizable on the road to success. But no matter what the result is, the significance of practice cannot be ignored. Numerous times of practice make people scarred, and people continue to experience discouragement, despair, and fear. At the same time, people are getting stronger and accustomed to frustration.

Whether you can touch the final success or failure depends on whether you can hold onto your original intention, and whether you can hold on to the end with your original intention.

Facts are facts:

As long as it is what happens in the world, it is a fact. Our view of a fact is subjective. The same fact may be very large or very small for different people. Putting it in different places and angles, it may be correct or wrong.

In fact, no matter how we view facts, it itself will not change because of people's subjective views, it is it, there is no absolute good or bad.

Knowing this, on the one hand, don't be bothered by the trivialities in life, just treat it as one thing and just do it. On the other hand, precisely because there is no absolute distinction between good and bad in the world, one can accept and tolerate facts, and there is no such thing as good or bad. If you have the "Modest Gu", you will be more capable of thinking, no matter how many things you can install, there will be unlimited space.
