MASS MURDER II

When Kiara woke up the next day, she had a terrible headache. She rubbed her head trying to remember what happened last night and how she got back home. She looked at the alarm clock.

"Goddamn it " she said as she scrambled out of bed.

She rushed towards the bathroom.  She filled the bathtub with water before stepping into it. As she immersed herself into the bathtub the bathroom door burst open

"Where were you last night?" Her mom yelled.

"Mom!!!! I need a little privacy."

"You could have burnt the house to the ground last night. Mr Dane,had to break into the house to turn off the microwave. Where were you last night, Kiara?"

"Oh damn, Mr Dane. I was studying and I fell asleep" she muttered.

"You better not lie to Kiara Potus Hernandez. I will ask one last time,Where were you?"

"Mom please get out we can talk about this later." She said calmly.

"No how about we talk about it right now ,Kiara." Her mother said stepping into the bathroom and closing the door behind her.

Kiara close her eyes and sighed.

"Mom I have to go to school today. We can talk about it when I get back."

"No, Kiara. I am done with this attitude of yours. Tell me where you were last night." The woman said yelling.

"Ignis, you can talk to her later."her father said from behind the door.

"No No, let's me talk to her. Look at her enjoying our hard earned money she is not even our child. She will never be our child,honey. Never!!" The woman yelled angrily.

"Mom?" Kiara said.

Her mother's head snapped to face her. She saw her mom's eyes was green and grey.

"Dad something is wrong mom is...."before she could complete her statement the woman wrapped her fingers around her neck.

"Leave and stop....." Her mother started before she could complete her sentence the door came down with a thud. Before she knew it her mother was flung unto the other side of the wall and she fell to the ground unconscious.

" She wanted to kill me." Kiara whispered as she shivered out of fear and out of cold as the water she was sitting in wasn't making things better, the headache she felt this morning returned in full force.

"I'll get the authorities you can get dressed." Her father said taking one last look at her before heading out.

Kiara looked her mother who laid unconscious, she quickly ran out of the bathroom into her room. When she reached the bedroom she slipped into a jacket gown as hurried downstairs rubbing her neck.

"She is upstairs . Yeah, we don't know what happened." She heard her dad say to the official that came.

She looked down the stairs and caught sight of Roman and his friends, the Alpha and some other guys she couldn't recognize.

"Thank you,Mr Hernandez for calling immediately this is the third theta infected ." The Alpha said.

"What do you mean by infected?"Her father asked him.

"The some thetas were in charge of taking care of men who went to the northern part of the pack and late last week so far three theta has been said to have been you know... They will kill anything in sight unlike corruption in vampires what ever this is it is dormant until it is triggered by emotions."

"Dad?" She said as she walked down the stairs feeling light headed. As she walked towards them swaying.

"Kiara are you okay you look a little pale?" Her father asked.

Her legs finally gave way, before she could fall to the ground Roman who was standing not too far from her caught

"I'll take her to her room"he said carrying her in bringing bridal style. As they walked up the stairs

"Is she going to be okay?" She whispered.

"We don't know but for now she will probably be kept in isolation till we can find out what caused it but what we do know is that I it is triggered by expression."

When they reached her room, he dropped her on the bed

"An advice for you, president. Don't ever drink again and you should get something for your neck." He said as he started walking towards her bedroom door.

"Thank you for bringing me home last night, Roman." She said softly

"You're welcome, by the way a brown and gold masquerade ball wouldn't be that bad," and with he left.

When she heard the door close she took a deep breath and snuggled closer to her pillow.

" She will never be our child." Her mother's voice rang in her ears. A lone tear fell from her eyes and slide down her face unto the pillow.

The door opened and the officials came and took her unconscious mother away.

When she heard the front door slam and the house was silent she knew there was no one in the house. For a human she had great hearing. Before she knew it she fell asleep out of exhaustion.

Roman and his friends were sitting on the tree in their mansion.

"What do you think caused the .... you know, Drake." Carter said to Drake who had his head buried in a book.

"Found it!!!" He exclaimed.

"What did you find?" Roman asked.

" Nightshade, one of the deadliest plants in existence. When consumed or inhaled  by an average vampire even purebloods it causes bleeding in ever open part of the body but in werewolves it causes a reaction that makes a disruption in the core making them extremely destructive similar to corruption in vampires but it is triggered by emotions." Drake read but from the book.

" Do we know where the plant grows in this territory?" Carter questioned

" It grows in the northern and southern part but the nightshades field in the south has been destroyed during a storm , leaving the northern field"

" Okay. Drake and Carter, check out the nightshades field. Don't get too close you know what happens if you gets too close and Drake find a safe way to get a sample of the flower so we can get a cure.

  Collins and I will search the mountains for any sign of Helen."Roman said jumping down from the tree

Not very far away from the vampires mansion, Kiara laid in her bed fast asleep. She was soon in the dream world.

In her dream she found herself in a cave. She looked around trying to find out where she was

"Hello!!!!!"she said only to be replied by her echo.

Slowly the environment around her started to change and before she knew it she was standing in front of a crowd of people.

"You have to leave, Kiara or evil will befall you and everyone you love the time of darkness is near."

"Who are you?" Kiara yelled staring at the crowd of people.

The environment dissipate and now she was standing in a forest and standing in front of her was a beautiful woman.

"I have to kill you." The woman said walking towards her, Kiara tried to move but she was stuck on the spot.

"If you can travel into the spirit realm that mean your ...."the woman said as if trying to gather her thoughts.

"Who are you?" She asked softly interrupting her

" Almora." The woman said before bringing her hand to her chest to pull out her heart. The woman's hands were cold again her skin.

"Please I haven't done anything" Kiara said with fear in her voice.

" You haven't done anything but if the dark coven get to you it will be disastrous. I wish I never listened to you mother. You name is never Kiara, my sweet girl you were named Nevaeh. Which means daughter of the eclipse." The woman said with sadness in her voice.

The pain Kiara felt was unbearable that she screamed her scream was so loud the bird in that part of the forest flew away. She looked down at her chest she saw the woman's hand covered in blood.

"Forgive me mistress." The woman said before pulling out her heart.

As Kiara's body laid limp in the spirit realm her soul return to her body in the physical realm. She woke up with a loud gasp.

"Nevaeh?" She whispered softly.

As she was about to step out of bed she felt a sharp pain in her chest which made her wince in pain.

She looked down at the clothes she was wearing and noticed the blood on it.

"Honey, Bianca's waiting. You know you don't have to go to school right?" She heard her father say.

" I know Dad but I want to." She said walking towards the bathroom when she took off the shirt gown she was wearing she saw the mark on her chest. She sat inside the bathtub and started scrubbing her body.

"Nevaeh." She whispered once again.

When she stepped out of the bathroom , Bianca was sitting on her bed. She walked towards her and hugged her.

"I heard what happened I am so sorry." She comforted her.

" Am okay, Bianca." She said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
