The Law of the Jungle

"Long Shi? Stone Dragon?" A happy feeling gets through his body and a smile blooms on his face "I have a name now, a cool one" with shining eyes the boy shouts in his heart.

"Father!" Called the little happy one as he started to bend his body to kowtow to his new found father.

"Hahaha, good child, now get up and take a look at this cave." The dragon told him with a happy tone "this cave was made by an annoying evil cultivator too long ago when he found my circlet but since I didn't like him I do not speak with him."

The boy tried to get up, but he's body was weak and pale with some red tint like a clouds on the sunset.

"Your body it's too weak right now, besides that your back has a huge superficial wound, when you fall from the waterfall your back got the most damage, you took a little to wake up." Long Shin told the boy as the golden jewel started to shine to make some light for the boy.

"Now go back where you came from, let's get some fish by the waterfall cave entrance, there are always some little guys over there."

Long Shi tried again to get up, but this time slowly and steady with his hands and knees on the floor as he shot his head up, put his left hand on his knee and got up.

Step after step with his hands on the moist wall, his soaked feet would steadily touch the floor in a very calm manner.

Getting near the waterfall he could hear the sound of water and the cave becoming brighter, after getting by the entrance he could see a pond behind the waterfall with a stone ramp to the water.

"Lay down on your chest with your head near the water" the bored voice of Long Shin resounds in his mind.

Bending his knees very slowly with his hands on the near left wall, putting his chest on the moist stone floor lying flat on it.

"Now close your eyes, start breathing really slowly, it doesn't matter if it's by your stomach, or by your chest" The kid doing as he father told him started to breath and he would feel his chest growing on a very slowly manner and his back aching "Now imagine two carps, one black with white eyes, the other white with black eyes".

"Se-Father what is a carp?" the kid asked as he's steady breath was broken by curiosity and his face became a hot of almost calling Long Shin senior again.

"You don't know what a carp is but know what a dragon is?" the dragon looked weird at his child. "A carp it's just a 'dragon fish'" Long shin told lazily "Now stop assaulting me with questions and start meditating again".

The kid start build his breath again, as his close his eyes two fishes started to appear, but they definitely aren't carps, but just snake-like fishes, since he is barely a cultivator his spirit power so weak, he can't really imagine things very well, just some images with the weird looking fishes would flash time to time in his head.

"Now imagine they are apart and circulating, the white fish goes to the right by above and the black fish would move to the left below the black fish, by they keep always the same distance in an orderly beautiful way." Long Shin instructed the kid and got off the golden jewel, he's body started to shine in a golden way, his form began to change and he was not a dragon anymore, was a tiny little young man with perfectly geometric features that could only be described by the heavens itself.

Long Shin slowly sat on the kids back as he held his index finger up and started circulating a golden energy on the tip, focus could be seen on his eyes as he sigh annoyed "sigh.. Even this little, it's too much for the child's body, it would explode, I need to change my approach".

Long Shin put his hand down and closed his eyes, started to think in just a atom, just that little single unit of matter and really slowly think about a single part of his drop of essence blood, the energy in his fingertip was getting thinner and thinner until it became just a speck of shining red light so little that was more a luster.

With a smile the young man put his finger between the child eyebrows "Even if it's just this negligible amount, I expected you to see at least the first breath".

The boy didn't know what was happening, he was following his father instructions when suddenly a hot wave passed from his eyebrows to his body like flames consuming everything they saw, his body became really hot, his skin red, his clothes dry, even the floor and the walls near him started to get dry as the liquid became steam.

"Keep imagining the fishes and breathing" Told Long Shin, before the kid got crazy because of the burning pain.

Clenching his teeth, he started over again, but this time was way easier to see the fishes, thanks to the little tip of blood Long Shin gave him.

In his head the weird-looking fish started to transform into two petite little guys with a dragon mustache on their mouths, they became life-like and above then suddenly a golden blinding light shone as a huge golden dragon lying on his belly snoring appeared.

When his gigantic nose sniffed, streams of primordial yang qi would come visible and go to his nose and as he breathed out primordial yin qi would go away from his large mouth.

After a single breath it disappeared and the kid's imagination started to become shallow again, the two fishes now at least kept looking like carps, but the boy could barely see them so life-like again.

He woke up from his stupor, his eyes shined on a beautiful enchanting purple light that disappear not long after, not giving he time to think his Father voice sounded on his head "Now pick a fish on the water, using only your hand" now his voice gave a feeling so warm and closer than before, like he was really his son.

The boy looked at the pound, his eyes could clearly see those fishes trying to get back at the river, but the waterfall wouldn't let, his hands got on the water as they cut through the pound, when his hand got on the first fish he tried to grab it, but like a moist soap the fish slide off his palm.

"Wrong, kid don't use your hands like a mouth, use it like a claw, you don't want to grab, but to pinch with your finger tips fiercely on their scales." The lazily voice sounded in his head, he tried again using the way his father told him, after some time he got a fish, but his nails were hurting and the fingertip had a cut from the scales, he looked at the fish swaying in his hands.

He threw the swaying fish on the floor far away from the pond and put his 'claw' on the water again to get another.

After some time he could get more 2 fishes, after this Long Shin told him to go behind the altar and there was an exit there.

This time his steps were steady and he was feeling no weakness which puzzled him, after the past event when he got scared by Long Shin, he started to use his head a little more, after some time he concluded it was that super hot thing he felt.

He got near the wall behind the altar and a thin passage could've been seen, it was more like a slash from a sword, than a passway, he pressed his body on the tiny alleyway, feeling the cold stone and the wind come from not too far away.

After some twenty steps he could see the bright and warm sunlight again.

After closing his eyes in discomfort for a breath, he noticed the old silver river, at the other shore a green jade forest grew taller, on his side of the river the negligible alleyway could not really been seen since nature did their job to hide it.

He looked left and right and asked the dragon for instructions who told him to find some sticks and grass blades to make a fire.

Taking the right path he kept near the river, after the time of a burning stick, he found a huge clearing behind the mountain, with a lot of great trees, getting near those giants he would look on the floor near their roots for sticks and old grass blades, he kept walking and gathering.

Tian'li was walking through the blossom jade forest, looking for some herbs, he was a nine year old, outer disciple from the Blossom Lotus sect, every time he needed to get those herbs he would get mad at his father for selling him for some silver coins to the sect.

Gladly he had a little talent and could get at the 2th layer of the Body Refinement realm this got him an outer disciple chance, which was great for a slave.

In the end he would not get that much treatment from the sect and needed to get his own points gathering herbs and ores for the sect.

After getting at the clearing near the old silver river he saw a handsome young boy, he should have the same age as him, but he was using poor clothes made of wool and was carrying at least 6 wooden sticks.

"WHO ARE YOU?" Tian'li shouted jogging aggressively to the young boy who stop his track and was looking at him with some fear, a smile blossom on his face, he shot his nose proudly to the sky as he keep shouting "YOU BREAKED INTO THE BLOSSOM SECT AREA I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KILL YOU!" as a cold glint shined in his murderous eyes.

At this time Long Shi was a little scared, what the boy with dark face was shouting at him was true, those evil sects would kill for less, they live by the law of the jungle.

When he saw Tian'li getting closer he started to panic, everyone in the village knew those people from evil sect never punish, they always kill, they only feared strength.

Tian'li was almost at his body and shot a palm to his chest, a stern voice suddenly sounded on his head "Kid, stop daydreaming! put your right feet to the front, use it to push your shoulder to his chest, like a lance, and put your left feet behind you, spinning your middle body with it".

Long Shi prepared himself as he sticked his right shoulder off and spinned his torso.

"BANG" his right shoulder got on Tian'li heart cavity. "NOW GO HUG HIS BODY AND THROW HIM ON THE FLOOR DON'T LET HIS HANDS FREE!" the dragon stern voice sounded again

Jumping in the dark faced boy, Long Shi sat above his torso and started to punch him in the face.

"STOP! STOP! arhg!" Tian'li was shouting as he kept moving his body to get Long Shi off him "Stop punching him, use your index and middle finger, put all your strength behind them and then stick at his eyes" the boy shot his two fingers into the eyelids of his prepotent enemy.

"AAAARGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH" a sad shrill was heard in the forest as Long Shi took of his fingers from the eyes of the boy, his hand trembling.

"I WILL KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD I FUCKING WILL KILL YOU FAMILY TOO AAAAAAH" Tian'li shouted as his blood was on fire and his sight dark as his heart.

"Kid fast don't let him keep shouting, clutch his neck with all you have" Long Shin kept talking to him, he was afraid the kid would freeze and let this chance escape.

Long Shi put his trembling hands on the neck of Tian'li, pressed using his arms and torso to put all his height on it, like the dragon told to.

"agh, agggghh" as he heard the other kid cries for air he took of his hand afraid "STOP BEING A COWARD KID, HE'S WAS GOING TO KILL YOU! DIDN'T YOU SEE IT?" his father shouted as his mind tremble from the words and the volume.

"aaaaaaagh aaaaaaaaa" as Tian'li trying to gasp for air, Long Shi kept his hand clutching his neck, pulling his head up and smashing it to the ground as he father told him to do it.

After some time the trembling legs of Tian'li stop moving themselves, his body was like a stick, just lying there on the grass, Long Shi heavy breath could've been heard together with the birds crying, totally disoriented, his head would spin as he's muscles keep twitching and his body feel the cold forest that now looked life a dark green place from a nightmare.
