The kids were exhausted. they were asked to hold the calligraphy brush, sit straight and strike the same pattern almost a few hundred times. Benette felt like he was in hell. As he mumbled to himself, " Devil Lynn, Devil Lynn is it some kind of new punishment, why do we have to sit here the whole day I am going to collapse from hunger even if I don't I can still pretend right hehe"
Avalyn wasn't far and could hear him. Her strokes were better than his. They had elegance. Her first few pages seemed a little rough of a person who hasn't written anything for a long time. And as her hands were small her movements we're a little clumsy but her sight was adorable. And after a few pages, her handwriting was better.
The language this person used and the style of their texts we're not the one she used in her previous life and it took her time to actually understand what they spoke and to herself learn how to speak.
After hearing the words she smiled this little brother of hers was so despicable, does he even know what collapsing was like Lynn couldn't see through him . she then looked at the little man, who was trying to finish as soon as possible as he stroke his pen on the paper. At first, it didn't look like what it should, after a few attempts the outline was finally understandable when finally he was able to copy the texts correctly but after repeating the task again and again his strokes started to look more aggressive and it was almost on the verge to tear the paper. It was like he was using all the strength he could collect focusing it on his little hands and writing as fast as could but it was not like he has experienced in writing neither was he a person who wrote every day he was still slow. But he has still finished 20 pages from morning to afternoon.
And was really time for lunch where was Lynn. Avalyn stopped writing and scanned the room. She was so busy with her calligraphy that she forgot to see the time and that they were the only ones in the room now.
Suddenly the door opened.
it was opened silently without any sound. But because they were waiting for Devil Lynn's return so writing was being done absent-mindedly as they were more interested when they will be called for lunch especially Benette.
But unexpectedly at the door, it was neither Devil Lynn not any maid.
