Difference Between Saints And Ancients

Hamilton set his target to various girls with stronger cultivation or powerful Physiques. Of course it doesn't mean that any girl he talks to would be willing to talk to him and date him, but it gives them a better impression at the start.

Take Alice for example, it was because of this Physique that Alice was immediately interested in Hamilton and was willing to take him to attend the Auction. Otherwise someone in such a high position like Alice wouldn't have even glanced twice at Hamilton.

But the prospect of this Physique also made Dante excited. If he was able to cultivate a family with a bloodline carrying this Physique then it would inevitably be incredibly valuable. Physiques aren't fully associated with bloodlines, however the stronger the bloodline the higher the chance to receive physiques that your parents have had.

In most cases, descendants would receive a watered down version of their parents Physique however sometimes they inherit the same physique or potentially even better physique.

Take Dantes Heavenly Disaster Physique as an example, his father naturally didn't have a Rank 1 Physique but Dante was still born with such a powerful Physique. But the physique was so complex that even Dante didn't realise the benefits of his own physique yet.

So far he only considers the incredibly fast cultivation speed and the ability to manipulate every energy in the world. But the Physique wouldn't be so feared if it was just that, even going to the extent of having Antiques needing to hunt it down.

Dante just expected his Cultivation to be too low. His current main cultivation base has reached the Eighth Stage of the Fairy State and he will soon be preparing for a breakthrough.

As for his second cultivation base, it has not yet progressed. Dante invested all of his energy as rewards for various families within his Planes, and also boosted many Ancients as he prepared to start occupying planes as soon as possible.

But despite his best efforts he had only cultivated 10, which was far from the hundreds needed to begin to occupy planes.

Luckily the Golden Aura that rushed in from making Lilian a puppet flushed in. All around Dantes planes many cultivators broke through the long term bottlenecks and evolved beyond their potential.

But Dantes attention was focused on what was happening to the many low level plants. With the constant bathing of the Aura of Heaven there were actually mutations taking place all around.

A previously low level blue bell was drenched in the golden aura, with its once blue colour turning easily see through. Even Dante with his long term knowledge had never seen something like this happen.

While he couldn't detect many anomalies within the plant it was amazing to see a new race be born with the help of the Aura of Heaven. If there was one thing to be noticed was that all the grass within a meter radius of the plant started swerving towards it slowly turning fluorescent.

Scenes like this happened all around the Plane, ordinary cattle evolved flaming tales, sheep evolved electric fur, even rats had razor sharp teeth. Many of the evolutions were transitioning to already discovered races, however a Minute amount changed completely.

Dante was of course thrilled to see that. After all, the Aura of Heaven is something that can affect all life no matter how strong it is, so it is just an added benefit to see all these new plants growing.

Not to mention when facing attacks on his planes in the future, the invaders would be facing a much larger variety of species. But during this time Dante also realised that the space, even on the largest plane was wearing thin.

Over this time Dante had been investing a lot of energy into cultivating Ancient subordinates and occasionally increasing the size of his Medicinal field Plane. Which had already reached a few million meters in surface area.

The amount of common herbs that Dante received each day was incredible with the combination of Gardener Professions and with Dante's use of energy to speed up time on the Plane.

But now Dante realised he was going to need to start developing either another Plane or increasing the size. But it wasn't urgent, with enough time Dante could start including abandoned planes into his planes.

As for the idea of creating another Plane, Dante didn't dare do that. After all, for every plane that exists Dante also has to ensure the defence of the plane. Even if no one is specifically looking for Dantes plane there is a chance that someone might accidentally run into it and easily occupy it if there isn't enough defence.

In an ideal world the PurpleThorn Vine would defend all of Dante's Planes from potential invasions, but it's strength is only in the peak of Ancient, far from enough to counter the attacks of those long lived Antiques.

When it is said that Ancients are required to conquer Planes it is only the bare minimum applied to abandoned planes. Most Abandoned Planes are as the name suggests barren with a few resources.

Whereas attacking someone else's Planes naturally means attacking countless enemies. And while it isn't easy to cultivate a Saint Subordinate it isn't impossible. Any older Antique would have at least one saint.

And one is a small amount. Don't look at Dante being close to already having a Saint, that was solely due to him having the assistance of the World Tree. For ordinary cultivators the difference between an Ancient and a Saint is incredible.

For every thousand Peak Ancients there might not even be one Saint. The Spirit State requires a person to temper their soul repeatedly bringing it to another tier of life.

Whereas the Ancient state is developing its own foundation in preparations for the Saint State. Because the Saint State is where your body becomes unified with nature. Your Physical body fully connects with your world allowing you to draw power from the surroundings.

This allows Saints to replenish their aura constantly through a battle and reinforce their attacks with the spiritual energy in the atmosphere. Naturally this is a huge advancement form the Ancient State allowing Saint battles to last weeks as a minimum.

There was even a precedent for Saint battles to Last years or more. Of course this is only present in battles with equal realms or combat power. The Saint realm is still divided into Stages 1-9 and each leap is like a moat.
