"You two should focus on eating and not arguing. Be good at school," Huo Mian nagged while she looked at them with motherly tenderness.
Then, Qin Chu's mother said, "Mian, you guys are still young. You can have more children. I will help you guys raise it as long as I'm still healthy."
"What are you saying?" Qin Chu's father thought this was an inappropriate thing to say at a time like this.
To their surprise, Huo Mian didn't mind. Rather, she looked happy.
"I thought so too. Honey, when I'm better, let's try again, okay?" Huo Mian looked at Qin Chu with anticipation.
"Okay. As long as you're happy."
Qin Chu wasn't as happy as she would expect but he still tried to please Huo Mian.
After having breakfast as a family, Qin Chu drove the kids to school before driving to work.
