Qin Chu told the truth, but the words were directed to Mian, and Leila wasn't Mian…
Qin Chu and Leila played a complicated game of surveillance and anti-surveillance.
At the dinner table, Little Bean glanced at her mommy.
"Mommy, did you fight with Daddy?"
"No. Why are you asking, baby?" Huo Mian looked at Little Bean with a smile.
"Daddy doesn't eat at the table. Grandma brought the supper to him… What's wrong with you guys?"
"Nothing. Your daddy is very busy," Huo Mian answered briefly with an excuse.
A simple girl, Little Bean didn't ask more questions.
However, Pudding felt her mommy's smiles looked fake, especially when she tried to give a warm and genial smile.
At closer look, her minute facial expressions were forced; they even looked a bit creepy…
Pudding lowered her head to eat supper without a word.
"Pudding, how are you doing in the stock market?"
"Very good," Pudding answered Huo Mian.
