A Weird Couple

Iesa finally opened the door and met Teren.

"W-why are you hiiere-!?" he voice cracked at the end, making her ashamed.

She didn't expect to see him at her doorstep so her panicking is not her fault. Furthermore, the memories of the last time Teren was there added to the flame.

Strangely, Teren only replied in silence. This made Iesa question the look on his face. Without warning, he stepped forward, startling her once more.

Thud*

He closed the door and-

Clack*

... closed it.

Iesa gulped, she didn't know what to expect. She didn't want to be disappointed. She just stared in silence and looked into his darkened face.

He stepped forward again and she stepped back in response.

Teren dropped his bag and in one fell swoop, he took Iesa by her neck before pulling her for a kiss.

"Hm!?"

Iesa's eyes swirled but she welcomed it. She was still confused. Did something bad happen? She felt that would be the case.
