Chapter 54: Disdainful daughter

After a long flight, Luciella finally reached Jiang City. Ji Nuan who came with her, went back to the Ji Family. Luciella knew her bestfriend had her own worries, she shook her head and left for Grand Heights since she did not want to return to Rong's estate.
Luciella placed her luggage by the door, she dragged her feet upstairs. She felt empty, and disappointed at herself that her daughter would feel that way. laying down with her blue flowy dress on, she looked up the ceiling.
'I really do fail as a mother....and a person.' her eyes dim, she felt irresponsible. Running away, she took up the career of being a model, and wanting to raise her popularity. She went to starred in a second female lead drama as a badass antagonist, all along she only thought about herself.
It was just like that, Alessandro took up the burden she left. For her inability to protect her daughter, she left her in a secluded glass house. What more could she messed up in life, for she did not know anymore.
Life is hard, there were too many variable and hurtful realities. Running away was not going to help, 'It's my life..' she always felt she had one life. That life, she wants to enjoy it to its fullest. But thinking about that, Luciella felt it was time for her to grow up.
She was turning 21 around the corner, 'I only have two more months...' the fateful promised to Alessandro was soon going to be implemented. Luciella felt fear in her 20 years old life, feeling the baggage coming to crush her down.
What fears her even more was those mysterious deep blue eyes, which always hunts her. Luciella could never fathom what the man wants, and she could never run away. A honest reality, 'I'm long caged in his beautiful castle..' she knew it deep down all along.
Right now, she also knew that the vines that are around her. It will never loosened, but tightened even more. 'He should be plotting again..' Luciella knew Alessandro well. She may not say, but she knew what he was thinking. Alessandro was a devious devil, one she was fated to fall for.
Well she did not hate the idea of the man obsessing over her, since she did something that was irreversible. Something that binds herself with Alessandro for eternity, something even if she regrets it. She will never be able to turn back, whether is it a blessing or a downfall she do not know.

"What a disdainful daughter, where were you all these times?" Ji Kai Mo snarled at Ji Nuan, he disliked her a lot. Since Ji Nuan was not Ji Kai Mo's daughter, in fact. She was the deceased daughter of Ji Feng and Ji Lan Fei.

Both were beauties, Ji Nuan has a jet black hair and green eyes while Ji Nian has beautiful black hair and brown eyes. One looked sophisticated while the other was more towards cute side, but the place in the family was a polar opposite.
"I'm back because Grandfather called me, Uncle." Ji Nuan walked towards her room, the feeling of being in this household suffocates her.

"Rong Xuan, dinner is ready." Ji Cheng Mo went up to Luciella's room, he did not turn the lights on but he could still see the stunning beauty from the little lights coming from the moon.
His brown eyes shines, subconsciously he walked over to her. Bending down to ingrained her seductress face, in his mind. 'I would love to wake up with you by my side' he smiled ever so gently at the thought of having her beside him.
Ji Cheng Mo lean in and peck her cheeks, which aroused Luciella from her deep slumber. She sat up in lightning speed, 'Ales?!' looking at the man in front of her. She calmed down, she thought it was...
"Cheng Mo?" Luciella did not remember inviting him over, "You texted me remember?" when he saw the message send by Luciella, he quickly canceled all his plans and came finding her.
'Ha..' She sighed, "Let's talk later after I freshen up." Luciella went into the bathroom without waiting for his reply, she did not forget to pull the bath curtains in the bathroom. Since the walls were made by glass, and there was Ji Cheng Mo outside.
