New Members of the Pack

(Athena's POV)

"Storm after we get married, how many children do you want?" I asked all of a sudden as we continued to dance. His body stiffened for a second, probably from being shocked at my question. Then his body loosened up the next second. "Um I don't know baby, as much as you want. How much do you want?" he asked. I smiled and looked up at him and said "I was thinking three. Just like in the images in your thoughts.Two boys and one girl."

He smiled and said "Okay then I will give you three babies." I laughed at his comment and layed my head back on his shoulder and continued to dance to the song.

Once the band stopped playing, We pulled away and we walked back to the side of the room. A server stopped in front of us and offered us some champagne and we gladly accepted it. We took a sip of our drinks when my dad went on stage and started to speak.

"Good evening Moon Blood pack." he started and we all howled at our pack name. Even the vamps and other humans in our pack howled as well. Storm looked at us with a weird face and I laughed. My father then continued. "Tonight is a very special night. Tonight we not only welcome Diamond back home and the celebration of her engagement, we also have two people we will inaugurate into the pack. So will Daniel Shaw and Storm Dreyer please accompany me on stage."

Storm quickly took another sip of his champagne and set it down on the tall bar table we were at. He smiled at me and then left and went on stage with Daniel and dad. Daniel and Storm stood behind my dad as he kept on speaking and explained everything about them even Storm being half vampire and half werewolf and the product of reincarnations of the werewolf Prince and vampire Princess.

People weren't surprised to hear about him being half vampire and half werewolf because they already knew, but they were shocked when they heard he was the product of the reincarnations. I slightly giggled at their reaction.

"Nathan please bring me the branding iron with our emblem." my dad said. Nathan came on stage with the branding iron of emblem,which is a crecent moon with a unique design and it had a paw print on top, and gave it to my dad. "I would like to ask my daughter Athena to also accompany us on stage to heat up the iron." he then said and I was completely in shock. I was not expecting him to call me up on stage. I quickly shook my head and walked over to the stage and Storm held out his hand to help walk on to stage. I happily took his hand he helped walked up the steps of the stage and up to my dad.

"Athena, if you may." he said and he held the branding iron up to me. I snapped my fingers together and my hand lit on fire. Dad put the iron blade in the fire and let it stay there for a little bit until it heated up. When it was finally heated up, my dad pulled the branding iron away and walked to Storm and Danny.

"Daniel do you solemnly swear to be loyal, honest, and defend the Moon Blood Pack." he asked Daniel. "I solemnly swear." he answered. "Where would you like the emblem?" my dad asked. Daniel took off his tux's jacket and undid his cuddling of his sleeve and rolled it up. "I would like it over my old pack's emblem." Daniel then answered. My dad nodded and placed the hot iron on his forearm where his old pack's emblem. Daniel winced a little but he kept his cool.

Once it was finished, everybody clapped and howled. Daniel then joined them in their howl. My dad then placed the branding iron back into the fire from my hand and let it stay there for a couple of seconds so it can reheat. When it was done reheating, my dad pulled it away from the fire and I snapped my fingers again and turned off the fire from my hand. My dad went up to Storm and asked "Storm, do you solemnly swear to be loyal, honest, defend the Moon Blood Pack?"

"I solemnly swear." Storm answered and he smiled at me. "Where would you like your new emblem." my dad then asked and Storm answered "I would like it where my old emblem used to be." He took off his tux's jacket and loosened his tie and unbuttoned the first couple of buttons on his shirt. He then lowered the back of his shirt, revealing the bottom of the back of his neck. There was a hint of a burn mark of an emblem.

My dad went to the back of him and placed the hot iron there. He didn't even look like he was in pain. His face was expressionless. When my dad was done, everyone clapped and howled. Storm also joined in on the howl. Dad walked over to Nathan and gave him back the branding iron and then said out loud "Welcome new members." We all cheered and I went to Storm. I helped him fix himself back up and I hugged him.

He smiled and hugged me back. I was happy he was finally one of us. "Hey I need to take you somewhere." I said remembering a place I was going to show him, but forgot. "Okay let's go." he replied. I released him from the hug and smiled at him. I grabbed his hand and I dragged him out of the house. I took my heels off and held on to them as I dragged him through the woods.

We ran through the woods for a couple of minutes until we reached a cliff. It had a beautiful view of the rest of the city and a big clear view of the moon. "Baby what is this place?" Storm asked. "You have your little thinking place at your mom's grave, well this is my thinking place. My grandparents showed me this place when I was younger and after they showed me this place, I would always come here during hard times and just think." I answered.

Storm came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. "It's beautiful baby." he said and I answered with a hum. We stayed there for a while just staring at the lights of the city below and at the moon. "Storm" I said to him softly. "Hm." he hummed. "When we get married, can we have the wedding here?" I asked. He loosened the grip of his arms and turned me to face him.

He lowered his head and gently placed a kiss on my lips and said "I don't care where we get married. As long as I marry you so if that's what you want then we could have the wedding here." I smiled at his answer and pulled him down into a long passionate kiss. Once we pulled away, I turned back around and he held me close to him.

Then we both started to hear howling all around the city below us which means it was midnight and everyone was howling at the full moon. We both chuckled and then we both looked at the moon and howled. It was a wonderful way to end the night.
